Suffering in Crime and Punishment
In the original novel Crime and Punishment, by Fyodor Dostoevsky, suffering is a fundamental piece of each character’s job. Dostoevsky utilizes comic characters as instruments for contending philosophical issues. A normal model is the garrulous pub character Marmeladov, a heavy drinker with an unexpected unique side to his character.
