Planets surround the stars in the galaxy, how they were formed is what scientists are still trying to find out. Scientists have many theories on how they think the planets were formed. Their still doing a lot of studies to figure out how this galaxy and the Earth were created. Scientists believe the Big Bang is what caused the Earth to be made. Depending on your religious beliefs, some people believe the earth was created by the Big Bang and some think it was created by God. In the 1700s and 1800s the foundation of young Earth creationism by preachers. I believe more in the belief that God created the earth.
About 4.6 million years ago the solar system was a cloud of dust and gas known as a solar nebula. Gravity collapsed the material in on itself and it began to spin forming the sun in the middle of the nebula. This would be the first day of creation through my belief of God creating the Earth. The solar wind swept away lighter elements and leaving rocky materials to create smaller terrestrial worlds like Earth. But further away, the solar wind didn’t do much on lighter elements allowing them to coalesce into gas giants. While this was happening asteroids, comets, planets, and moons were created. The flow of the mantle beneath the crust causes plate tectonics which formed rocks. Collisions and friction let mountains and volcanoes form, which spewed gases into the atmosphere. Planets and the sun were more abundant when they were young. Collisions from these icy bodies likely deposited much of the earth’s water on its surface. Since the planets is in the goldilocks zone, the region where liquid water neither freezes or evaporates but can remain as a liquid, the water stayed at the surface. Which scientists think that’s what developed life. According to NASA, core accretion suggest that small rocky worlds should be more common than the more massive gas giant.
The Bible describes the six days of creation. It does not say the days were 24 hours long, (Genesis 1:31) the Bible uses the word “day” to refer to various length of times. It calls the entire period of creation “The day that Jehovah God made earth and heaven” (Genesis 2:4). Which I believe God did create the Earth and heaven. These “days” of creation lasted thousands of years (Psalm 90:4). “God said ‘Let the earth bring forth living creatures according to their kinds.’(Genesis 1:24). I believe that god was the one that put animals and all living creatures on the earth. God did not make life in a simple form and allow it to evolve into more complex forms. He created basic kinds of complex plants and animals which then reproduced “according to their kind.” (Genesis 1:11. 21, 24). This process which continues today and has resulted in the earth being filled with the same kinds of life god originally created (Psalm 89:11).
While some view this adaptation as a form of evolution, no new kind of life has been produced. Which nothing new can come alive, unless if we do testing and mix and breed animals and plants. Modern researchers supports the idea that the basic categories of plants and animals have changed a little over vast periods of time. The Bible’s scientific accuracy in describing basic kinds of life strengthens its credibility in other areas. “I stretched out the heavens with my own hands.” (Isaiah 45:12). Since I’m a believer, I believe God did make heaven and I believe he could have made it with his own hands. The Bible says that God, himself, is the source of the “vast dynamic energy” that produced the universe. (Isaiah 40:26).
Evolution and creation all depends on which one that you believe in. I believe in creation, that God create the Earth and heaven in six days and rested on the seventh. Others believe that the Earth was created by the Big Bang. We will never agree on one single way the Earth was made, some will always believe that the Earth was an evolution and others a creation. In the end, it’s what you believe that counts.
