Respect and Responsibility Essay

Respect and responsibility are important in light of my faith and my life. My faith encourages me to respect God, myself, and others. In turn, having a respectful attitude causes others to show respect to me. My faith also enables me to be responsible even during times when it is difficult. My faith in God makes me feel a sense of responsibility to show and to teach others about how being respectful can make life wonderful. My faith encourages me to respect God, myself, and others because my love and admiration for God makes me want to be my best. When I pray to God I know that He wants me to honor Him by caring for myself and others. For example, when I was recently sick I prayed and God told me to rest so that I could get well to serve Him and others. God’s love for me is enormous.

Knowing this and that God wants me to be well makes me want to care for God’s other children even more. I have a responsibility to serve God’s children. When I honor this responsibility I am showing respect to God, myself, and others. My faith also enables me to be responsible even when it is difficult. It is not easy for kids to have so many responsibilities. We would much rather play video games, listen to music, text our friends, and make plans to have fun instead of being so responsible. When I pray to God, He helps me to put my responsibilities first. God wants me to pray before everything. He wants me to take care of my health ( by eating good foods, sleeping enough, and having good hygiene habits). He wants me to help care for my family and my home ( by doing chores). He wants me to study hard, do all of my homework, and all of my classwork. He wants me to give my best efforts to the sports and clubs that I am apart of.

My faith and love for God help me to put my responsibilities before my hobbies even when it is not easy. My faith in God makes me feel a sense of responsibility to teach others about being respectful. The best way to teach respect is to give it to others. For example if you give someone respect, then in return they might want to give you respect. My faith in God allows me to show respect for others through compassion, kindness, and understanding. This usually makes others respond the same way towards me. Giving and receiving respect makes life fantastic. I can thank my faith in God for the importance that respect and responsibility have in my life. If I can teach others what my faith has taught me, I know that they can live their best lives.

Respect and responsibility are important parts of my life in light of my tremendous faith in God. This faith inspires me to show respect to God, myself, and others. My faith really helps me to tend to my responsibilities even when it is very hard. My faith in God causes me to feel responsible for teaching others about respectfulness. Having a responsibility to teach ( or show) respect to others is contagious. My care and concern for others causes them to reciprocate and pass along the love to others. Respect and responsibility are important in light of my faith in my life because they can make life wonderful.
