Most people have the dream and passion to become successful in their life. Through time people inherit good things to meet their life goals but I've inherit much more. I've inherited a passion for learning which has served me well throughout my academic life. Growing up back in Africa, my parents taught me to explore the world with interest, constantly seeking to learn more and always question the things around me. Out of curiosity, I worked with my father as he tried to fix certain broken appliances at home, wondering what all the various parts will do in order for the machine to work well and effectively.
Indeed, I was always fascinated by technology and the curiosity I had. I always wanted to know why and how things worked the way they did. I used to ask my parents a lot of questions and was never satisfied with the answers my parents gave me, so I took the chance to find answers for myself. I did so, by exploring the world around me. I spent hours disassembling and playing with the amazing stuff I found laying around our neighbourhood. My mother being a good detector, noticed my intellectual curiosity and encouraged my childhood explorations.
Once, my dad bought an old computer for me from a local yard sale with the intention of allowing me explore with it. Motivated and powered by curiosity, I began exploring it at once and learned how to use a lot of features on the computer, with the help of my dad it was made easy and fun. My parents taught me to be bold, courageous and incentive by providing me opportunities to learn by trial. Until this day, I take into account every error I make as a next step to success.
Some of the greatest American computer scientists created new knowledge, new technologies, and new innovations which inspires me to do the same. It's now part of me, this motivates and builds my interest to become successful. If the american computer scientists were able to invent these electronic devices for everyone to use including myself, what shows I cannot do the same if I am able to put in the more effort.
My mother always motivates me to be the best at what I do and never let anyone persuade me to back off because the field is tough but rather gather courage and always focus on it.
