How i Spent Christmas Holidays

On the off chance that somebody was to just ask what their #1 occasion of the year is, they would anticipate that Christmas should be the appropriate response. For the majority of individuals who have the delight of having the option to praise this occasion, they would typically concur. In my family, this would surely be the programmed reaction. The occasion Christmas, implies a great deal of significant family time and a breath from our tumultuous lives. My two most established sisters can get back from school for around a fourteen days. Different family members including my Grandmother and Grandfather, aunties, uncles and cousins can participate in the family assembling. Realizing that the year's end is drawing nearer rapidly right now, we typically will in general get somewhat overpowered and pushed, however we attempt to try to avoid panicking and simply being together appears to furnish us with some additional assistance yet in addition on occasion it appears to exacerbate the situation.

I, myself need to say that Christmas morning is the most excellent morning of all. The sun never bombs in giving loads of warm beams of daylight through our colossal family room cove window, and the looks on every people face when they open their blessings are beyond value. On Christmas Eve, my family looses no time planning for the enormous day ahead. On the off chance that we are behind on Christmas shopping, we'll rush to the store and afterward enclose the presents by pleasantly fragile bundles.

My mom has raised me trusting put our hearts, psyches, and spirits into the occasion of affection, cheer, chuckling, thoughtfulness, and fellowship. So thusly, we make it a propensity for doing each seemingly insignificant detail for our full potential benefit. For example, when we heat treats, we need to utilize the cutout to make them awesome and ice them altogether. The presents should be wrapped nicely enough and even look satisfactory, despite the fact that they will be destroyed to pieces. Adornments need to all through our home to spread Christmas bliss and, obviously, give a climate that reminds us what an awesome time it is. By doing the entirety of this, we can improve the occasion a lot of an encounter and it will ideally make Christmas morning, at our home, a memorable morning for the remainder of our lives.

After a significant Christmas Eve where we trade a couple of presents later around evening time, we head to our resting places for the evening, and steadfastly trust that Santa Claus will show up. My younger sibling is uncertain if Santa is genuine, however she decides to proceed with her confidence to make a Christmas that most others couldn't imagine anything better than to have. Blamelessness is a thing pf the past, in which, numerous grown-ups and teens have lost, so having my younger sibling around returns us to our young and guiltless years. Then, at that point, when we fall into a profound rest, nothing can trouble us that evening and bad dreams are not an issue. All that goes through our anxious personalities is the possibility of Christmas breakfast and getting presents. Despite the fact that, Christmas has more significance than simply presents and a flavorful breakfast, we remunerate by expressing gratitude toward God for the magnificent lives we have and wish Jesus a Happy Birthday.

By Christmas morning, each of the three of my sisters and I awaken first thing in the morning, and afterward scramble for our depleted guardians that lay in bed to emerge. To utilize our extra time, my sisters and I pull out some old prepackaged games and engage ourselves in the higher up lobby for some time until our folks choose to awaken. The standard is a similar every year; we line up most youthful to most established to go into the room wherein our over-designed, genuine pine Christmas tree stands tall with the entirety of our presents under it. The enthusiasm is hard to retaliate, yet it simply makes the start and seeing that lovely room multiple times better. When going into the room, my sisters and I pant at what an incredible occupation Santa has done for this present year. The presents are flawlessly stacked, the bigger ones towards the back and the littlest ones toward the front. In any case, prior to opening presents, we look in our stockings that holds a wide range of treats as cd sweets, gift vouchers and other learned stocking stuffers.

I for one love having the option to take a gander at my sisters' appearances when they pull out something that they totally love. It's nearly like they don't anticipate getting these presents. Yet, surely, I love watching everybody's countenances as they open up their interesting blessings, Especially my folks. In the wake of uncovering the astonishing presents in our stockings, we set ourselves up for the yearly Christmas Breakfast. Everybody contributes for this occasion, though my mom and father make the primary dishes like flapjacks or French toast, and my sisters and I make bacon, eggs, toast and frankfurter. The groundwork for breakfast is so intriguing and pleasant, we at times appear to experience in food battles or plan food varieties that take after a face or image. The best part is the point at which the food is served, and we as a whole take have a great time this delectable dinner.

Whenever we've stuffed ourselves to the fullest we can, we go into our family room again to start opening presents from underneath the Christmas tree. We turn the Christmas lights on, not stressing over it being light out, and we additionally turn on the neighborhood radio broadcast that plays Christmas tunes. This causes our energy more to advance and makes a temperament that none of us need to abandon. Then, at that point as the state of mind is set, we start to open up the blessings and trade thank yours and trust that the morning won't ever end. My Grandfather pulls out his camcorder to catch these glad minutes and we as a whole enjoy considering the to be upon our appearances as we get the most significant present of all; family.

I generally anticipate this season the basic explanation, I understand how appreciative I am for my family and that consistently went through with them is exceptional minutes and to never underestimate it. It is a consoling idea, however whenever Christmas is gone, it has returned to the real world. Essentially we delighted in it while it endured, we realize it was a memory appreciated in each and everybody of our souls and we realize the fervor will return one year from now.

The current year's get-away was the best occasion ever, I was in the Far East, I went to the most lovely island in the Mediterranean - Greece, there is a great sea shore and a wonderful lady, I am a definitive opportunity and loosening up I tracked down a significance My excursion started in July and I traveled to Hong Kong to visit my dad. I went there for seven days, this isn't the first occasion when I resulted in these present circumstances brilliant nation - I have been there a few times previously. We went ship from Hong Kong to the Chinese city called Shensen close to the boundary.

Shenzhen is a modest community not a long way from Hong Kong. Following a day investigating and touring the market, subsequent to unwinding, Shenzhen got back to Israel in the wake of getting back to Hong Kong by ship for a couple of days. Am i Free?

“Freedom is an objective possibility of choice” - I found such a definition of this concept in the encyclopedia. True, I would argue with this definition. Indeed, often a person objectively has the ability to choose, but something "subjective" holds him back. What kind of freedom is this when censorship is inside the person himself?

For me personally, freedom is not a social concept, but a kind of feeling. It brings joy and literally gives wings. It seems that you are capable of moving mountains. Maybe this feeling is just an illusion, but it is not in vain that they say: "This sweet word is freedom." As for the freedom of human behavior in society, it is relative. After all, there is no absolute freedom, otherwise people would not be able to get along with each other. And it is right. Can you imagine if everyone did what they wanted? Wanted - stole something, wanted - went to the toilet of a neighbor in the bread bin. In conditions of absolute freedom, chaos would ensue!

There is too much condemnation from strangers in our life. As soon as you go beyond the usual, contemptuous looks and no less flattering words in your address immediately appear. Does this mean that you should stop living for your own pleasure? My answer is definitely no! It so happened that one and only life falls to our lot and only we have the right to dispose of it as we please. Think for yourself, why would you please those who mean nothing in your present? Why do you need extra restrictions if, apart from dissatisfaction, they will bring nothing? Agree that it is much more pleasant to establish in your being, in your personal little world, your personal and special rules. We can all be free if we sincerely want it. We can all enjoy the environment, eat our favorite foods, express our opinions, and treat people the way they deserve. It means behaving like a boor; it means behaving in the way your heart wants and in the way that will be most convenient for you personally.

Therefore, in society, a person has certain freedoms, but also certain prohibitions. And what they are - society determines itself and prescribes in its laws. In democratic countries, there is a good saying: "I am free to wave my arms as much as I want, but this freedom ends where the other person's nose begins." A person has natural freedoms, which are spelled out in the Charter of Human Rights and Freedoms, and laws "specify" these rights. For example, we are free to move wherever we want, but we must not violate private property. We are free to live where we want, but first we need to get a visa and so on. Freedom is a value for every person, but it is often denied. For example, political prisoners are able to go to jail, that is, be deprived of their freedom, in exchange for the opportunity to openly express their views, that is, for freedom of a different kind. And other people refuse to express themselves openly because they fear for their safety.

Although we all love freedom, not everyone strives for it. The reason is simple: people are afraid of her. They are afraid of public opinion. For example, if someone walks on the street naked, then, in principle, he does no harm to anyone. But few will decide on such an act, because they will laugh at him, take him to the police, and so on. Society often limits even those human freedoms that are harmless, but they are "not accepted." People are also afraid of freedom, because it makes you choose. And many of those whom I know do not know how to choose themselves. They need someone to guide them, determine how to live, how to dress, what music to listen to and what to think. “Freedom is the burden of daily choice” - these words belong to the pen of the Frenchman Sartre. And not every person takes on such a burden. But it's worth it, as I personally think.

Imagery in the Veldt

These days, innovation plays a vital spot. It makes individuals ready to shop at home, keep association with our companions simpler. Quick version, individuals currently can't live without innovation. The family in the story purchased a high-innovation nursery infantalized them and kill them all. Through "The Veldet", composed by Ray Brabury, the writer utilizes foretelling, symbolism, and analogy to tell perusers that innovation is valuable, yet in addition hurtful.

Through the use of hinting, the creator tells the two guardians heard a shout that heard recognizable, however till end they didn't discover it is their shout. " ' Did you hear that scream?'"(The Veldt 2) ,the spouse asks her better half, yet didn't find a solution for yes. While the story shut to end, before they were eaten by lions, they sorted out the shout is really theirs, the two kids picture that they are killed by the lions. The lions should be just 3D or 4D however not be understood, the force of the innovation is too solid, that make youngsters' little glimpse of heaven, and kill the guardians. Innovation isn't care for human, they don't think, act like an individual. It makes us live simpler, as positively in the story, we can appreciate wonderful perspectives over the world while we don't take off from our home. Like atomic force, it can deliver considerably more power than petroleum derivative, and it don't contaminate climate a great deal, notwithstanding, in the event that we make an atomic bomb, it can cause destruction.

Likewise, the creator utilizes symbolism to guarantee the innovation can let individuals fell phony things genuine, yet individuals won't feel it. It is incapacitating individuals' mind. The two guardians track down an old wallet of the spouse, and "He showed it to her. The smell of hot grass and there were blood spreads on the two sides." (The Veldt 5). Perusers all realize that is outlandish that it has ridiculous smell since nobody get injured, that is the nursery make them fell the smell, through deadening individuals' cerebrum and make hallucination. With the goal that we can't determine what is correct and what's going on. In SAO, an anime, the games permits you do everything, in this way some crook, kills character in the game, and murder the major part in the genuine so that make him a legend. He thought the game is reality. It an anime however, yet on the off chance that it occurred, in actuality, who should individuals fault, the crook or the innovation?

To utilize similitude to stand the creator's thought that innovation stretched distance between individuals basically. As per "That is simply it. I feel like I don't have a place here. The house is spouse and mother now, and nursemaid."(The Veldt 3), which said by the mother, the nursery had done all that a mother ought to does, and even hitter, quicker. That makes the mother presently don't have a place with this house, to the family, as she have an excessive amount of time to think, yet nothing to do regular. In this manner, while everything done by innovation, distances between individuals are amplified. Individuals are not really shut to each like previously. For instance, we used to walk or ride or anything that to get to a companion's home to visit them, however presently, we have facebook, twitter, skype and of hardware can settle on video decision. It is helpful to interface them however, yet consistently not fell as warm as individuals talk eye to eye.

By utilizing foretelling, symbolism, and representation in the short story when guardians discover the shout have a place with them, the wallet is wicked however nobody get injured, and nursery is a superior mother, the creator attempts to disclose to us like Sword of (Damocles think similarly as with an incredible man of force and distinction, dithyrambs dionysius, truly fortunate. Dithyrambs dionysius, proposed the personality of the trade with him one day, that he could attempt to head's destiny. The supper in the evening, Damocles very appreciates the sensation of turning out to be top dog. At the point when the finish of the supper, he gazed upward and didn't see the seat above just with a horsehair hanging blade. He quickly lost interest in food and attractive, and demand dictator and authoritative him, he would not like to get so fortunate. The sword of Damocles is normally used to represent the legend, the delegate has a solid strength is exceptionally dangerous), that innovation try for some degree of reconciliation, and help, yet additionally bring war and kick the bucket. So that individuals must be considerably more cautious when we have high-innovation devices, as a miss, can cause difficult issue.

Bright Future Description

While this is valid, how hard do you truly need to attempt to keep a simple 3. 0 secondary school grade point normal and score a 20 on the ACT (a score that wouldn't give you admission to numerous colleges)? For around, a great deal of work might be required, yet these underneath public normal scores will as of now promise you a "Splendid Futures" grant financing 75% of your educational cost to a Florida state funded college in the event that you are an in-state resident. That seems like a decent arrangement, correct? For the numerous Florida families who enjoy taken benefit of this grant, they would concur. However this grant is exceptionally commended, it additionally has its resistance, and which is all well and good! The Bright Futures grant program has helped a huge number of understudies, however to whose detriment? I accept in the event that we take a gander at all parts of the program including the measures, financing, who is being influenced, and the drawn out outcomes, most will concur that changes should be made all together for the program to keep being successful. One of the primary contentions against the grant is that the capabilities are excessively feasible. To get a Bright Futures grant subsidizing 75% of an understudy's educational cost, the SAT score important is a 970; be that as it may, Florida's normal SAT score starting at 2007 was a 993, while the public normal remained at 1017 (Braun 5). How could Florida officials keep on seeing this grant as one of "notoriety" if these fair principles are celebrated? It is demonstrated that if the bar is set low, numerous understudies will just take a stab at that minimum. The Bright Futures grant was initially planned generally advantageous and most brilliant understudies of Florida, yet as grades have steadily expanded, the grant necessities have not.

Straight to the point Brogan, presently the leader of Florida Atlantic University, is a previous lieutenant lead representative who, alongside numerous others, taken part in making the Bright Futures program. Brogan concedes that their expectation was for the norms to increment over the long haul (Braun 3). Only a couple months prior he said "The SAT score and GPA ought not be static. They ought to gradually increment after some time, yet the governmental issues of the thing dominated and for an assortment of reasons that won't ever occur.

" Bill Kaczor, Associated Press essayist said, "There has likewise been some discussion of hardening the norms, yet that is wasted time. " Kaczor and Brogan are alluding to a similar issue: The program has acquired boundless notoriety around the state and whenever officials attempt to contact it's anything but, a ruckus. "That implies any individual who contacts it's anything but a fast political passing" (Kaczor 2).

Large numbers of the contentions against Bright Futures are interlaced, like the low norms and the subsidizing emergency. Since the necessities are so low, there is a wealth of individuals getting the grant, which implies that the lottery is being compelled to fork out increasingly more cash each year. As indicated by measurements, when Bright Futures started in 1997, an aggregate of 42,319 grants were granted, costing the Florida lottery $69. 6 million. 2008 insights show that the measure of Bright Futures grant beneficiaries has more than quadrupled to 169,895 costing an expected $436.

1 million! Braun 5). That is Multiple times the first sum in only multi decade! A few assessments show that the Bright Futures grant could cost the express an expected $867 million continuously 2017 (Miller 2). With lottery incomes previously battling… ? This may seem like the weight falls on the lottery, yet Florida's state funded colleges are the ones really experiencing the Bright Futures program. "As the state adapts to spending cuts, opposing educational cost increments to keep away from additional costs harms state funded colleges the most, since state subsidizing and educational cost are their essential wellsprings of income" (Braun 2).The administrators who control the financing for the grant are similar individuals who vote on educational cost costs. Since the program is presently financing a particularly huge measure of individuals, it's anything but an expansion in educational cost. This, thus, is keeping the normal expense of educational cost in Florida among the country's least (Kaczor 1).

"That implies more state charges must be redirected to the colleges, well known schools cap enlistment and a few projects need subsidizing" (Kaczor). Numerous individuals' conviction is that Florida colleges could bring in up this cash by charging an excessive cost for out-of-state tuition.A larger part of individuals would consider the out-of-state educational cost to be ridiculous, yet ongoing measurements show that it is MORE costly to pay IN-state educational cost in states like New York, Michigan, and Pennsylvania than to pay out-of-state educational cost at the University of Florida (Crabbe 2).

State Senator Steve Oelrich said, "Brilliant Futures is a superb program, yet I don't have the foggiest idea how much longer we can bear to do that and still have a leader college" (Crabbe 1). The St. Petersburg Times once portrayed the program as "a 5-ton anchor holding down educational cost for state funded colleges" (Braun 2).The officials careful about raising educational cost are making it hard for these schools to keep giving a great of instruction. Florida has three of the biggest state funded colleges in the country with the enlistment going from 46,174-51,413 in the fall of 2008. This incorporates the mainstream University of Florida, and the quickly developing Universities of Central Florida and South Florida. The issue is that around 40-half of their college understudies get and somewhere in the range of 80-95% of approaching rookie are getting Bright Futures grants.

These colleges are unable to sort out approaches to keep paying to teach such countless understudies, while half of them don't need to pay for their schooling. "College of Florida representative Janine Sikes said the college favors steps that would make educational cost all the more precisely mirror the expense of teaching understudies" (Crabbe 2). While families may appreciate a lower educational cost, they will be paying higher extra expenses as a way for the colleges to recuperate reserves.

One of the principle reasons that Florida lawmakers made the Bright Futures program was to give Florida's top understudies a motivator to go to class in-state.This is one of the thoughts I can't contend against. The point of view behind this is that if these understudies attend a university in the province of Florida, "that implies the probability of them remaining here [in Florida] to work and fabricate professions after school. That is a significant profit from venture" (Attack). With this program, a large number of the understudies who might have gone to class out-of-state are deciding to exploit the Bright Futures grant, remaining in the province of Florida to additional their schooling.

With an expected 95% of green beans in colleges with elevated expectations of affirmation meeting all requirements for Bright Futures, the colleges are not obtaining the cash they need. Thus, they are being compelled to concede less understudies, dismissing understudies who are generally qualified. This year, the University of Florida got roughly 28,000 applications for rookies enlistment, however just 39% of those understudies were acknowledged (Travis). "Part of the justification the program's establishing was to keep understudies in-state, with the expectation that when they graduate they'll proceed to live and work inFlorida, adding to the economy" (Braun 4). The Bright Future's endeavors to forestall a "mind channel" was acceptable in principle, however presently in light of the fact that the program is making schools dismiss understudies, a portion of these splendid understudies will at last go to school outside of the state at any rate. Another enormous resistance referenced in the articles is the individuals who accept the lower class families experience the ill effects of Bright Futures while the upper-working class gains from it. Quite a while prior, the Bright Futures program was contrasted with the story of Robin Hood, who took from the rich to provide for poor people.

In these seasons of monetary strife, grants are most family's fantasy for their kid, however without adjustments to this Bright Futures program, the outcomes of this grant could be outrageous. "I don't have a precious stone ball and can't say what they'll do, yet they'll need to accomplish something," MacManus said, "It's an issue that is consistently alive" (Wilmath 1).

Pet Peeve Speech

Everybody in life discovers certain things that are amazingly disturbing. Once in a while they are things that arent that enormous of an issue to other people, in any case it brings your circulatory strain up in a moment. My greatest annoyance is the point at which I need to stand by at the specialists office for eternity. Its so bothering and it happens each and every time I go to the specialists come what may. I figure its the specialists obligation to make their customers as glad as could be expected, which incorporates making them get in and out of the workplace as fast as could be expected.

Receptionists are typically the ones that plan the arrangements in a specialists office. What I dont comprehend is the reason they give you when you are assume to come in when its off by a long shot to the real time that you get seen by the specialist. Whats the point in giving us when its not right! From for as long as I can recollect, I dont review a solitary time when I went into a specialists office at my booked time and was called directly in to see him. The receptionists clearly must have a type of sign about what amount of time one customer will require, so they should plan the arrangements likewise. It appears to me like they simply pack individuals into the timetables without intelligently contemplating the time span. Its ludicrous.

At the point when I am debilitated all I need to do is be at home in my bed. I cannot represent others; notwithstanding, its not actually a good time for me to be holding up in a specialists office encompassed by other wiped out individuals who are similarly just about as irritated as I am. That is the last thing I need to do while I am debilitated. At the point when I emerge from the specialists office, I am irritated and tired, which aggravates me than when I previously came into the workplace. The general purpose of going to the specialists is to improve, not more regrettable. There is certainly a major issue with that.

Sitting in the lounge area additionally totally burns through my time. Dislike I dont have some other plans. I have different activities during the day other than spending it in a specialists office. For instance, when a year I need to get a physical at the specialists for school. Along these lines, I for the most part have different plans during the day since I am not wiped out. Once I had a 12:00 arrangement at the specialists, while I likewise had plans at 2:00 that very day. Was that a misstep! I didn't escape the workplace until 2:30 that day so I needed to drop my arrangements. That resentful me a ton in light of the fact that the holding up that I needed to do destroyed my day, which shouldnt have been the situation. A basic physical checkup shouldn't be the motivation behind why I am pass up different things in my day to day existence.

To others, this may appear as though a little arrangement and it may not fluster them. In any case, it bugs me to death! It is one of my greatest annoyances. We shouldnt need to stand by 40-50 minutes after our planned arrangement to see the specialist. Its insane! At whatever point I consider this subject I can say my pulse several scores. The arrangement would be pretty much as basic as setting planning arrangements in like manner leaving time in the middle of simply on the off chance that one patient runs additional time. Simply this one change would have such an effect, and it's anything but a virtuoso to address it. I trust one day I will actually want to go into a specialists office and be seen by the specialist immediately, without standing by until the end of time.

How the Heart Alters Stroke Volume

Stroke volume is characterized as the contrast between the volume of blood in the heart toward the finish of diastole (filling of the left ventricle) and the volume staying in the heart toward the finish of systole-for example the volume of blood that is removed with every heartbeat. Control of stroke volume is accordingly straightforwardly identified with the sum the heart fills and the heart's capacity to siphon blood into the courses.

There are a few factors that can influence stroke volume:

  • The focal venous pressing factor (CVP) is the pulse in the vena cava close to the right chamber. It mirrors the volume of blood getting back to the heart and the capacity of the heart to siphon the blood once again into the corridors. Changes to the CVP bring about a change to the diastolic filling pressure.
  • Complete fringe obstruction/blood vessel opposition directs how simple it is for the heart to remove blood.
  • The preload of the heart is the volume of venous blood that extends the resting cardiovascular muscle. Preload is expanded by an expansion in venous return (i.e focal venous pressing factor).

Focal venous pressing factor increments if the volume of blood in the venous framework increments. This builds the diastolic filling pressure and subsequently expands the volume of blood that is accessible to be siphoned out. This is clarified by Starling's law of the heart.

Starling's law expresses that the more the heart chambers fill, the more grounded the ventricular constriction, and the more prominent the stroke volume. Subsequently an ascent in focal venous pressing factor will bring about an expanded stroke volume naturally. This happens in light of the fact that as the heart muscle fills and stretches, it makes more areas of cover for actin-myosin cross-scaffolds to shape, taking into account a more prominent power of constriction. Nonetheless, as more cross-spans structure, there will be more cross-connect cycling happening which requires bunches of energy.

This depends on the rule that the power created in a muscle fiber relies upon how much the fiber is extended. There is an ideal muscle fiber length from which the most intense constriction happens. In this way, when the filling pressure (preload) is too high, the ideal fiber length is outperformed, bringing about a decline in contractility and stroke volume.

The Starling bend relates stroke volume to venous pressing factor and the slant characterizes the contractility of the ventricles. Contractility is additionally constrained by the autonomic sensory system. It has both thoughtful and parasympathetic (vagal) innervation that demonstration to increment or decline pulse and contractility. The thoughtful sensory system acts by means of beta-1 adrenoceptors and expands contractility (positive inotropic impact). The parasympathetic sensory system acts by means of muscarinic (M2) receptors and diminishes contractility (negative inotropic impact).

Autonomic control is controlled by the medulla oblongata in the brainstem. Philosophy of Nursing Paper

This paper investigates the individual nursing reasoning I intend to pass on in my nursing vocation. I accept the idea of nursing is attached in obligation to public assistance and the evident longing to help those out of luck. Nursing is more than treating a disease; rather it is centered around conveying quality patient consideration that is individualized to the necessities of every tolerant.

My way of thinking of nursing joins the information on medication while consolidating it with social, empathetic caring that regards the respect of every persistent. I think nursing care ought to be all encompassing while at the same time respecting patient qualities. A urgent part of nursing is interprofessional connections, and shared endeavors among medical services experts advance quality patient consideration. My way of thinking of nursing reaches out to my local area where wellbeing advancement is something I will consistently take a stab at.

For as far back as I can recall I have been overpowered with an aching longing to really focus on those out of luck, and I feel this at last drove me to the profession decision of nursing. I feel most satisfied when I am serving and really focusing on others, and my own nursing mentality is one that is fixated on empathy and administration. As per Merriam-Webster's online word reference (2012), a way of thinking is "an examination of the grounds of and ideas communicating basic convictions," and prior to entering to the calling of nursing, investigate my own qualities and rules that will direct my nursing practice.

My way of thinking of nursing consolidates the information on medication while joining it with social, merciful caring that regards the nobility of every quiet. My way of thinking is one that spotlights on the strengthening every quiet in the conveyance of comprehensive nursing care. This paper will investigate the qualities I feel are important in identifying with patients just as wellbeing experts, my own work culture, and society in general.

The idea of nursing is something that can't be streamlined to single word or expression. Nursing is in excess of a calling; it is more than treating the individuals who are sick, rather it is a model of care and administration to other people, and it is constantly advancing. The idea of nursing rotates around obligation to public assistance and an obvious longing to help those out of luck. It is my conviction that significant parts of nursing incorporate the avoidance of sickness, the therapy of the evil, and the advancement of wellbeing, just as focusing on customers. Caring recognizes what is imperative to the patient (Austgard, 2006), and I feel this shapes the conveyance of nursing care. I accept to say that mindful isn't interlaced with nursing is to say that breathing steers clear of oxygen; for the two go hand and hand, and nursing would not be what it is without its part of mindful, actually like breathing would not be conceivable without oxygen. The idea of nursing ought to spin around regard for every quiet and worship of human respect.

The idea of nursing is additionally established in science and clinical information. It is the objective to forestall disease and treat the individuals who are sick, and this requires a base degree of clinical information to make nursing care conceivable. Since the clinical field is something that is persistently advancing, medical caretakers should stay up with the latest with the current accepted procedures and conveyance of patient consideration. Nursing is a cycle that requires nonstop examination and learning. Concerning nursing and patient consideration, my way of thinking of nursing centers around all encompassing, patient-focused consideration, just as a mindful and merciful patient relationship. A comprehensive perspective on the patient permits the medical caretaker to interface with patients on a social level where attendants will comprehend the upsides of patients, and this sort of training isolates doctor care from nursing care.

"Comprehensive quality includes considering and understanding the interrelationships of the bio-psycho-social-otherworldly components of the individual, perceiving that the entire is more prominent than the amount of its parts," (Dossey, 2010, p.14), which means all encompassing nursing isn't just worried about a patient's actual prosperity, however it likewise worried about quiet's passionate, profound, and mental prosperity. Medical attendants, commonly are worried about a patient's solace, for "solace stays a meaningful need all through life and, thusly, ought to be viewed as a crucial constituent of comprehensive nursing care," (Malinowski and Stamler, 2002).

Patients who feel great adapt better to their sickness and have quicker paces of recuperating then those patients who confess to being awkward (Malinowski and Stamler, 2002) and as a medical caretaker it is my objective to ensure my patient is actually agreeable just as intellectually and genuinely agreeable. It is my main goal to make my consideration focused upon the patient's requirements and wishes. I trust patient's should be educated and be dynamic in their consideration, and I desire to have a collective relationship with my patients so their necessities and needs are met.

Through this way of thinking paper, I have investigated how nursing genuinely affects me, and have gotten more mindful of standards I an incentive for clinical practice. I esteem all encompassing nursing and need to esteem every quiet as a person with differing needs. Regard for each persistent is fundamental in protecting a patient's poise. My objective is for the patient to consistently be the focal point of care and to ensure the patient's qualities are perceived. Interprofessional coordinated effort is a perspective I desire to carry out in my nursing practice to all the more likely serve my patients. I want to work in a sound workplace in which open correspondence is energized. Nursing is something I intend to stretch out past the medical clinic with an end goal to work on the wellbeing of my local area and the nation overall. This data and these individual qualities will fill in as an aide for my own principles of nursing practice.

Capitalizing Strength and Weaknesses

No person on Earth is awesome. In case this were legitimate, the world would be an incredibly debilitating spot. Everyone has their characteristics and inadequacies. A couple of gathering acknowledge how to manage their deficiencies in the right way and endeavor to acquire from them. Others keep on covering their own deficiencies and needn't bother with any help with them. I'm one of the people who has been keeping my inadequacies inside and disguising continually. I comprehended that I need to change by discovering support and that I should crush my fear of doing as such considering the way that my weakness have been irritating me and are getting me a long way from progress. Characteristics are consistently the endowments and redirections that people appreciate to do and never get depleted of. A couple of gathering use their capacities to assist others with their inadequacies. I have been covering my weaknesses and characteristics from others since I am embarrassed to mention to people what they are. To be productive, I need to crush my fear of sharing this information and offer my capacity to everyone.

I have tracked down a couple of weaknesses of mine which fundamentally incorporate tutoring. I comprehend that my works are awful or superb as others. Each time I endeavor to form an article, I need to re-read and re-make a couple of times in any case I really get horrendous assessments on my assignments. English is my ensuing language; thusly, I am truly reluctant to make or scrutinize on the grounds that out of a jumpy dread of getting an awful assessment. I endeavor to swear off making whatever amount of I can in light of the fact that grammar and sentence structures are the wobbly pieces of my creation. I have taken a couple of classes to work on my sythesis in any case so far I don't see any improvement. Once in a while I feel that representing a request concerning my paper is wrong and embarrassing. I basically keep quiet and turn my undertaking in without any assurances.

Correspondence with others is another inadequacy that I never seem to procure any updates in. Whenever I address a pariah or to a senior, I generally get troubled and vacillate. Every so often I even shiver like I am cold. I review one time when the CFO of my association was mentioning my help with using the PC and I was feeling frightened and fearful. I could feel my heart swaying in my chest and insights running through my mind. Right when I talked, she couldn't fathom a single word arising out of my mouth. Various people have thought I was a humble individual notwithstanding truth be told I am reluctant to address anyone because of my trepidation.

Regardless, one of my characteristics consolidates my love for managing kids. I have been working at a preschool for a long time now, helping with the kids. I help with keeping the homeroom composed and guaranteeing that the room and the youngsters are perfect. Right when the kids see me in class, they are really happy. This is what convinces me to transform into a preschool teacher since I understand it will satisfy me to understand that I was the individual who helped those kids with getting a nice start on their tutoring. I need to fill in as a respectable genuine model for them and be a person that they can rotate toward the sky to.

Affiliation is another of my characteristics, in various viewpoints. I for the most part know where all of my things are and sometimes anytime lose them. If something or a spot is facilitated, similar to my room, it makes it a particularly incredible arrangement more straightforward for me to find where I put something. This strength is a critical one, as it has provoked achievement for me and will continue doing in that capacity. Exactly when my school supplies are composed and I have all I need to learn and handle work, it shows that I am stirred to learn and prompts higher assessments. This quality is outstandingly looked out in a calling since it shows one's capacity to work and buckle down.

The ability to check out others is one more one of my characteristics. If one of my buddies is having a dreadful day or essentially needs a shoulder to slant toward, I am there for the individual being referred to. Regardless of the way that I can't for the most part make their issues vanish, just by me being there for them helps them with feeling all the more great and raised.

My strong and wobbly spots are a piece of who I am and will lead me down the best approach to accomplishment in future. Disregarding the way that my weaknesses lie in the examining and making part out of preparing and in the correspondence with others, my characteristics have more impact on whom I am and how I present myself. My characteristics fuse the love for managing kids and affiliation, two essential person ascribes that go indistinguishably. If I didn't revere youngsters and managing them, I wouldn't have found a calling that I expected to go into, a preschool instructor. To transform into a famous teacher, one ought to be composed and prepared to check out others and help them with issues, which are huge attributes that I have.

Self Reflection Report

This article is an intelligent record on the advancement I have made during the on-going nursing preparing program I have left upon. The regions I expect to cover incorporate the handiness of appraisal input for working with development and for understanding the regions that should be worked on in my learning, the degree of the advancement of key adaptable abilities, an outline of gatherings with my self-awareness coach and issues identified with my own learning. At last, regions for future improvement will be related to a view on the most proficient method to address them, all of which will go towards working on my own and surely proficient turn of events.

People may invest a ton of energy thoroughly considering encounters they have had and things they need to do. In any case, inside nursing it is accepted that to advance, these musings ought to be transformed into directed reflection empowering one to further develop them later on. The fundamental motivation behind intelligent practice is to empower the professional to get to, comprehend and learn through, their lived encounters and, as an outcome, to make 'a compatible move towards creating expanding adequacy inside the setting of what is perceived as advantageous practice' (Johns 2000, p3).

As a develop understudy with experience of an entrance course I believed I had created self-control, which is significant for viable learning. All through this course I have bit by bit created strength and trust in every one of the adaptable abilities, like correspondence, viable learning, and cooperation and data innovation. These abilities have been created through both the coursework and the situation.. I felt sure about my verbal correspondence while I was worried about my proficiency abilities which are blocked by my dyslexia. For my situation dyslexia brings about helpless spelling, linguistic mistakes and troubles with getting sorted out work. It ought not influence my comprehension of my subject, despite the fact that it can require some investment to assimilate what I read.

The course has assisted me with perceiving the significance of all parts of correspondence, both verbal and non-verbal, for example, non-verbal communication, contact, look and eye to eye connection. It has shown me how significant non-verbal correspondence can be in communicating meaning. During my position visit at the medical clinic I set up as a regular occurrence my relational abilities which empowered me to associate with individuals from various societies and foundations. For instance, while I was working in the ward with a staff nurture, I saw through look that a patient was in torment. I headed toward ask her what the issue was. She disclosed to me she was in torment. I quickly revealed it to the medical caretaker in control. After this, I made her agreeable and kept on speaking with the patients. From this situation I have discovered that great relational abilities are significant in conveying medical care administrations. Great remedial correspondence can assist with diminishing patient torment and nervousness.

I accept the most ideal method of learning is to turn into a self-governing student which in itself requires great relational abilities and order. During this course, I have grown happy time usage abilities, particularly for fulfilling time constraints in accommodation of tasks and for joining concentrating with homegrown requests. At first, getting to the web and utilizing the electronic looking through strategy was somewhat troublesome however it became more clear with the assistance of the IT workshop. It likewise helped significantly when discovering articles required for explained book reference task. Doing introductions is another successful method of learning since it gives a chance to investigate the subject and afterward educate others. I arranged an examination show and I thought minimal about the parts that would make the sort of show effective. I encountered some apprehension since I think that its hard to confront a crowd of people and convey a discourse however with the assistance of the mentor's input I am starting to chip away at my feelings of trepidation and certainty by getting engaged with bunch conversation.

My IT abilities have improved significantly since the start of this module. I realized how to utilize email, Microsoft word and different approaches to look for data. The IT meetings have contributed significantly, so much, presently have the certainty to utilize the web routinely. I have additionally figured out how to utilize data set and PowerPoint I will keep on expanding on what I have realized and develop this is on the grounds that the innovation is refreshing habitually and it is important to stay aware of this pattern

I might want to keep expanding on my nursing capability in order to build my insight and abilities. Accomplishing this will be through training and self-coordinated learning, just as through clinical management which offers help for the understudy; this will help me in additional improvement of abilities, information and empower me to upgrade my arrangement practically speaking region. I will likewise facilitate my schooling to degree level.

Taking everything into account, I have fundamentally exhibited how my taking in has developed from fledgling to cutting edge amateur of nursing. I have additionally intended to keep on keeping up with my own and expert improvement by participating in standard learning exercises and furthermore refreshing my expert portfolio. Besides, I will keep on procuring more information to set me up to confront proficient difficulties, particularly in the space of dynamic, and the capacity to spot openings and use them. I have a comprehension of and trust in my picked calling as grown-up nurture. I need to consider figuring out how to be important for me; acquiring new abilities regular is a deep rooted insight. Intelligent practice won't just work on the nature of care I give yet additionally improve my own and expert advancement along these lines assisting me with shutting the hole among hypothesis and practice.

Personal Weaknesses Essay

All of us has shortcomings, thus do I – very many, indeed. Be that as it may, out of all, I accept the best one is my absence of fearlessness. I don't have a clue how I came to have this low confidence, however I do realize it is an issue I totally need to fix. After considering a long time this matter, I comprehend it is a defect as a part of my character that is unnecessarily confusing my life on numerous levels and frequently blocks my turn of events, both actually and expertly.

As a matter of first importance, my absence of self-assurance over and over again prompts an absence of confidence in others. Commonly, I ended up associating others with having covered up plans when offering their kinship or help, or making a nice thought. "For what reason would they need to help me?" "For what reason would they need to have an espresso with me? They should be after something!" I know I botched numerous chances thusly, in any case, above all, that I may have harmed great individuals due to this perspective.

Perplexingly, despite the fact that my fearlessness issues make me distrust others, when I do give individuals access, I begin depending on them to an extreme. Since I don't trust in myself to track down my own joy, I will in general go to others to satisfy that part for me. Pondering this dispassionately, I comprehend I at times put a lot of focus on others or weight them unnecessarily, in light of the fact that I don't confide in my inside strength and my own judgment.

Blend the two previously mentioned fixings together, add a few flavors, and you get a pleasant dish of difficulties in your heartfelt connections. Due to my trust issues, low confidence and enthusiastic reliance on my accomplice, I continually required consolation and I began numerous pointless battles. Fortunately, I have an arrangement accomplice he actually endures me, despite this. I, as well, have been giving a valiant effort to beat these issues since I got mindful of them, and I currently attempt to see our relationship all the more unbiasedly, more trustfully. Notwithstanding, now and again, that insane little leprechaun in my had still comes join in the festivities.

Presently, my self-question doesn't influence just my relationship with others – it influences me, exclusively, too. Due to this shortcoming of mine, I regularly abandon my self-advancement objectives, believing that I'm never going to achieve them at any rate. For example, I began a 30-day home yoga challenge to get into shape and lose some weight. It's been 3 months, and I'm on day 10 with the program. I think the realities represent themselves.

Similarly, I've lost many open positions since I essentially didn't have the inspiration or the boldness to make a move at the right second – or even to do a task application. "I will flop in any case. Why put myself through this?"; "I'm not adequate."; "I do have the right stuff, but rather the opposition is obviously superior to me. I don't get an opportunity." – etc. It's not apathy, as many may envision. It's simply dread – the greater part of the occasions senseless, yet at the same time dread.

All things considered, after broad soul-looking, I understand that my self-question is my most noteworthy shortcoming of all, since it is a block facade I continue to hit in all parts of my life, be them individual or expert. Absence of fearlessness makes one dubious of others, it harms connections, it harms individuals, it ruins one's turn of events, and it basically confuses everything. Recognizing the presence of an issue is a tremendous advance towards tackling it, and I will continue to chip away at it until I crush that block facade – or expel the insane little leprechaun in my mind, if the illustration feels more fitting.

Preschool Observation

For many years, the uncertainty on what age a child should start school has been an ongoing problem. When the time comes, eventually parents need to send their children to school. Who doesn’t like a head start? Why not take advantage of the early opportunity? Parents sending their children to pre-k benefits them in being ahead in their academic skills for kindergarten and later on in their studies. Not only does these childrens studies improve but preschool promotes structure, socialization, and easier transitions. Although some may be stuck on the idea of keeping them at home until school is mandated, school curriculums are changing and only getting more advanced. In the end, the only ones affected are the children and their future. When entering preschool, starting off strong is key in the first few years of schooling due to the lack of familiarity for a child. Preparation for Kindergarten starts a year before, and what’s a better way to familiarize a child than starting in preschool? Preschool promotes recognition of letters and numbers instead of just memorizing the ABC’s and the “pointing-to-count” technique. Some parents believe their children know the numbers and letters when in reality they just memorized the order in which they fall in. In preschool children learn one or two letters out of order in the alphabet, and learn sets of numbers weekly. Holding a pencil to trace, learning how to write their names, and recognizing the title of a book are all lessons implemented in a preschool classroom. Science and history are also promoted.

Most children even catch on to rhyming patterns due to phonics. The Sydney Morning Herald stated that “ children who attend a high-quality early childhood program in the year before school are up to 40 percent ahead of their peers by the time they reach year three in primary school.” There is nothing wrong with learning at an early age, and keeping them at home isn't as beneficial. Being ahead is always better than falling behind. Preschool has lifetime effects. Promoting structure in a preschool is crucial. When having structure, students feel secure and have a relief of knowing when things happen in the typical school day. A structured environment aids children by learning order and organization, knowing what is expected of them and when, and developing self- discipline. According to Psychology Today, the source stated statistics that prove going to preschool develops structure for ongoing years. “At age 28, the adults who received preschool educations years before had significantly higher job prestige, earnings and socioeconomic status.” What children carry out in a preschool setting is carried out through life. In order for a healthy future, getting children to improve in social skills is necessary. Socialization skills are essential and are a big part in why parents want their children in preschool. Getting them to be social is another key lesson that they carry on during their lives. Once children begin attending school, they aren't just socializing with their family and the people they are familiar with and see on a daily basis.

Children begin to socialize amongst classmates, teachers, and school staff. A study that was examined for about twenty years shows that children who were more likely to 'share' or 'help' in preschool were also more likely to achieve higher education, and were employed with full-time jobs almost two decades later. Children learn all kinds of communication skills throughout their lives, but what they learn as a young child gives them the basis for future experiences as they attend school. No one of any age has an easy way of dealing with transitions. Most people can relate to being a young child dealing with a transition of home-life to school because it is something that the majority of the population has gone through. It is not pleasant for everyone to leave the comfort of their parents, or grandparents. Preschool is the foundation of their school-life. A quality preschool, from a very young age, can instill a sense of responsibility, accountability, and self-motivation that a child carries wherever they go. Students understand their responsibility is school, they are accountable for the work they do in the classroom, and have the self-motivation to participate in class when going from different grade levels. Children in preschool become accustomed to school Monday through Friday from the given time that they attend. It is easier for the children who had a school experience, such as preschool, than the ones going into kindergarten straight from a home setting. They are used to bookbags, cubbies, surrounding peers, and student-teacher relationships.

When dropping off a child for the first time to school, it confuses the young individual because they think that their parents stay in the class with them, because it is all they’ve known. They are entirely dependent on the fact that they are with their guardians all day on a daily basis. Not all children cry when starting school, however many do, and unfortunately it will happen in the beginning of preschool for some. Every child has their days. Once a few months pass, they become accustomed to school, have made friends, and are comfortable with their teacher. When going into kindergarten, kids who attended preschool already know what to expect the first day since they already experienced the home-to-school transition. Those who didn’t attend school before are in shock and take longer to get settled in and used to the ways of schooling. For most, they get excited for the years to come and starting a new school year. Transitioning is easier to cope with when knowing what you are dealing with, especially for these young children. Putting a child in school for the first time for a parent may seem frightful at first.

Most hesitate putting their child in school at an early age due to concerns of teachers being unable to getting children excited about learning, helping them build friendships, and promoting their wonder about the world by focusing more on alphabet recitation, writing numbers, letter sounds, and counting to 100. Due to preschools implementing academic structure, parents believe this results in kids being less creative, having less curiosity, and incapability to think critically. The curriculum which includes, “long” circle time, worksheets, and assessments are seemed to believe stressful on the children which causes the parents to back out of putting their children in a preschool. Although academics in a preschool are implemented, the creativity, curiosity, and critical thinking from children is never shut out. Preschools are well aware that self- expression is not shown through most academic activities. Teachers play an important role in creating classroom environments that stimulate critical, creative thinking and curiosity for children. Encouraging children to try new ideas through exploration to nurture creativity, curiosity, and critical thinking is a prime factor in their social, physical, and emotional development. Art, dress-up, and some science activities in the classroom have children engage, pretending to be a fairy dragon, or an astronaut fireman, a blob of paint represents their family, and doing easy science experiments has them learning while curiosity and critical thinking is implied. Imagination is key with children, and curiosity fades for too many children too quickly when they are rarely exposed to scenarios that trigger their imagination.

Experimenting with imaginative play, daydreaming, nap time to relax, and discovering children’s abilities to things that interest them are implemented in school. The classroom does not only involve ABC’S and one-two-three. The point of preschool is to include academics and fun for children to learn through themselves. When it comes to what parents think is a “long” circle time, worksheets, and assessments are actually beneficial. Circle time is a crucial part of a preschoolers day, and it is not more than thirty minutes, making it not actually very “long”. This is where they learn about shapes, colors, the alphabet, numbers, and the days and months of the year. Worksheets implement and improve fine motor skills. Assessments show the improvement of children throughout the school year, and how they progressed which is something parents should want to know. Preschool is the point where you really know what a child enjoys academically and what engages their creativity, curiosity, and critical thinking and all senses are promoted. Preschool is the starting foundation for a learning setting. It is not just limited to academics, but also structure, socialization, and easier transitions. Learning is not only about math, reading, science, and history. It is about learning mannerisms, expressing problems, and cooperating with people and environments that surround them. Preschool promotes developmental growth both physically and emotionally. With so many positive aspects, who wouldn't want their children in preschool? School is never a negative thing at any age. No one is ever too young to start learning and growing, and starting sooner is beneficial in any aspect. Age is not the factor; the child’s future is.

Impact of Social Media Marketing on Society

The pace of change in business industry and consumerism is accelerating exponentially. This is due to social-media for making it possible. Mobile or smartphone technology has played a vital role in shaping the impact of social media. This helps the business and consumers to connect anywhere at any time. Increased time spent on social media has grown the interest of other mainstream media platforms. As, the mainstream media have grown its interest in social media. Bits of Information on social media grown an interest in news, therefore, journalists looking for a new top story or news use social media, as all the events break first on social media. The content being created and used and through social media has transformed the reliability of social media platforms. Evolving means of tactics used by the social-media to use collected data from consumers and sharing them with other marketing or business companies. In this paper, I consider that social media platforms do not address the issues based on marketing tactics, so they should put their effort and time to obtain trust from the social media users.

Regardless of the potential and remarkable accomplishments of social media. Lack of transparency of data on social media rises a lot of questions and doubts as it has always been a concern in the importance of reliable and valid social media platforms. Business and marketing companies do not contact the customers solely through one platform but use other platforms. These companies have no interest in literally using social media as means to business, instead, they acquire data from the users that gives them insights to stimulate demands that offers a targeted advertisement. Even though social media platforms use data collection, the metrics data collected by these social media platforms is doubtful in terms of its quality and reliability. Social media metrics uses different arithmetic aggregators to collect, process and update the data which results in different data reports and influence different issues related to it. Pew research shows “that more than 92% of 13-17-year-old in the US are reported online daily.” This overwhelming result is the evidence of the number of children being exposed to the social media platforms daily. Dunlop explains how in digital era most of the youth is online, which brings forth both challenges and opportunities for their health and well-being. It is easy for the companies selling good or bad products to reach the youngsters via online platform especially social media This leads us to the issue of promotion of unhealthy products, addiction to game etc. towards the students, who should be focusing on their studies. Online game players, mainly school going students are driven with a sense of competition among each other, which leads them to pursue in being better than the other or being the best player among all. This not only gives them the sense of joy but also creates fame and encouragement from gamer society.

Social media platforms do not provide a clear strategy, which results in reduced benefits for business. But successfully employ social media in a marketing campaign, need to invest substantial amounts of time over a long period to see useful results. This takes a high level of commitment, which ultimately costs significant amounts of money. With social media the rules are constantly changing – from the algorithm used “by Facebook to pick which of your posts to display, to the length of tweets, to the user interface in LinkedIn. It can easily become a full-time job just to keep up with the latest trends and current best practice.” Other forms of marketing, allow businesses to tightly control the message and its distribution, making sure that only that message is communicated and nothing else. Social media, but, is like a wild jungle. Once you release your message you also abandon control as it is shared, commented upon and added to. Business can face unwanted or inappropriate behavior on their profiles and sites can face bullying and harassment. “Risks can include negative feedback, information leaks or hacking.”

Youth has an exposure to the promotion and marketing to categories of unhealthy products such as energy dense and nutrient poor food and beverages, alcohol and tobacco. Social media platforms are proving to be an ideal medium for food and beverage companies to engage with young people. A US market research survey found that “63% of 13-32-year-olds have posted a photo on social media of unhealthy food or drinks they or someone else was consuming.” growing market of online games, such as games on Facebook, where people spend thousands.

Even though there may be a wealth of data available, it can be surprisingly difficult to measure the Return on Investment (ROI) of your social media efforts. This is because most of the data only really shows you how popular you are, “not how effective your posts are at getting the message across or whether that message is being retained and acted upon by your target audience.”

On the contrary, Social media has an easy and instant communication and gives real-time news and information discovery, great opportunities for business owners. For instance, an online survey on twitter with 251 participants with self-reported food hypersensitive participated to experiment the impact of a tweet. Which resulted in a positive impact, led to sharing of tweet to create awareness, many parents with food hypersensitive children also joined the cause. Offer pop, an online marketing company claims that, they help companies like amazon, sears, Walmart run social marketing campaigns, and claim to have “more than 40% increase in the social media campaign by its clients for a black Friday weekend.” It is tough to track the amount social-media benefits retailers in terms of sales. According to the Erin Robbins, head of intelligence at viral heat. “most of the retailers we’ve worked with have all agreed that people talking about their particular brand is always going to be better than not”. Social platforms are also used by celebrities and artists, who have thousands and millions of followers on platforms like Instagram, Facebook etc. This has also led to improving the health among the male and female users who admire these celebrity models, actors and singers, who stay fit and healthy, this influences them live a healthy lifestyle.

To conclude, new studies have opened doors to study, indicate and research the outcomes of usage of social-media-marketing by users and businesses, therefore, improve the user experience by filtrate red and transparent content, which must be provided in order to gain the trust from the users and better marketing strategies must be provided to businesses. The data collection and limitation to the knowledge of marketing tactics should be explained and users must be made aware of them. Every user is different, most have problems with data being stolen some may not, therefore, users must be given an option to whether they want to share their information or not. All things considered. The data collection and limitation to the knowledge of marketing tactics should be explained and make users aware of them. Social media platforms should address the issues based on marketing tactics, so they should put their effort and time to obtain trust from the social media users.

Lady Bird Analysis

‘Lady Bird’ delivers a woman’s coming of an age in a particular cultural moment. At once, it explores the complexity of mother-daughter relationship, class disparity, feminist views, political views, and it also evokes the feeling of Sacramento in 2002- “a year the titular character quips is only exciting because it’s a palindrome.” The movie begins with Lady Bird telling her mother that she hates Sacramento and wants to go to a place where there is culture, “or at least Connecticut or New Hampshire, where writers live in the woods.” Lady Bird explicitly makes it clear that she wants to go to an out-of-state college, however, that is a luxury that her working class family cannot afford. The movie also explores the ‘rites of passage’ a teenage girl goes through like prom and losing her virginity. The storyline and plot are quite simple, but what makes this movie great is how relatable it is, how it shows class tensions, self-acceptance, and the subtle political views it takes on. The main character (Saoirse Ronan) has a strong view on her given name, Christine- from which she assumes the alias Lady Bird. She asks in an argument with her mother, “call me Lady Bird, this name was given to me by me, not by anyone else.”

She also has an odd personality and dresses up in either thrift-shop clothes or hand me downs, with dyed pink hair, all while attending an all-white Catholic high-school. Lady Bird has two love interests- Danny (Lucas Hedges), a guy she meets during her school’s theatre program and Kyle (Timothee Chalamet), a musician who has an all organic and leftist view of the world. Lady Bird, the agonist of the movie hits rock bottom twice, both which have been shown after a failed relationship. There is however, another romantic subplot that comes from her relationship with her best friend Julie. Many of the usual teenage movies reinforce the idea that a woman can only be fulfilled if she goes for the conventional boyfriend-girlfriend gig. Lady Bird undermines that notion and the film’s highest point is found in Lady Bird’s reconciliation with Julie in the end. The movie develops with stark humor and relatable scenes.

The mother who doesn’t want her child to move out and go to college, the struggles of a ‘typical high school’ like failing math and saving up to go to college. In a desperate attempt to get into her dream college, Lady Bird, throws out her Math teacher’s grade book so she could get her grade up. We also see how her family struggles to make ends meet after Lady Bird’s father lost his job showing the audience the struggles of the economy in 2002 and of the working middle class. The movie’s audience are teenagers and early adults. It is mostly targeted to high school students and freshman in college. The genre for the movie is a comedy drama. The movie also has a clear but subtle leftist and progressive political view. When her friend Julie, expresses her concerns about the dangers of applying to colleges in New York, Lady Bird replies, “don’t be republican.” She also embraces Danny (her first flame) when he comes out as gay and she cringes at a Regan picture hanging on the wall in Danny’s rich grandmother’s house. Another scene that supports this statement is when Lady Bird interrupts an assembly about abortion. A guest speaker can be seen giving a pro-life speech to which Lady Bird replies, “let me guess she didn’t get the abortion, BINGO.” She is then asked to speak up and replies “just because it looks ugly doesn’t mean it is morally wrong.”

Lady Bird continues with her defense on abortion and unapologetically drops the word “vagina” in front of Catholic school girls who gasp in horror. She is then suspended for these actions from school which only shows the audience that Catholics have been portrayed as Republicans (who’re the bad guys) and Democrats are characters like Lady Bird. Although this movie came out in 2016, it was set in 2002. Throughout the movie, here and there, we can see little clips of the 9/11 attacks on television that were going on during that time. During the opening scenes there was a poster on the softboard that read “never forget 9/11.” The political atmosphere during 2016-17 revolved around travel bans to Muslim countries, racist propagandas and public outcry that President Trump was in office. There is another political reference made to Hillary Clinton. During the first 30 minutes of the movie, Lady Bird is seen running for a student body position. While conversing with the principal who is concerned about her posters, she says, “it’s a tradition for me to run every time, but don’t worry I never win.”

These lines were a dig at Hillary Clintons failed attempts to hold office against Obama and Trump. Kyle (Lady Bird’s second love interest in the movie) has also been depicted as a leftist. He compliments Lady Bird by calling her an “anarchist.” And rails against state surveillance through the use of electronics. He’s a “Bernie Bro, the archetypical callous leftist invoked by Clinton allies during the 2016 Democratic primary.” Lady Bird has been shown as a product of the capitalist society of an era where George W. Bush advised for Americans to go shopping in the wake of 9/11. Class is also a topic that has been heavily weighted in this movie. Gerwig weaves “class tensions into the narrative to render how they quietly but firmly shape our lives.” Lady Bird is embarrassed by her family’s working-class status in society. She refers to her house as being on “the wrong side of the tracks” which she quite literally meant, more affluent homes were on the other side of the railway tracks than where she lived at. She asks her dad to drop her off one block before school and insists she “likes to walk anyway.” The movie quite literally displays the reality and struggles of the working class in America, especially during 2002. Throughout the movie there has been this back and forth struggle for control and power between Lady Bird and her mother.

The first scene we see that she jumps out of a moving car and breaks her arm because she couldn’t take her mother incessant bickering anymore. No one would really do that in reality but what makes it funny is that someone must’ve at least thought about doing it. Self-acceptance has been one of the central and crucial plots of this movie. When Lady Bird tries to become friends with a rich hot girl who wears shorter uniform skirts, she soon leaves her best friend Julie to try and ‘fit in’. She lies about where she lives and about her interests in certain things just so she could be friends with the cooler kids when she knows deep down that who she is trying to become is not really who she is. We see her trying her best to change herself but, in the end, she goes back to Julie and accepts herself. Since the very beginning the only goal that Lady Bird had was to get out of Sacramento and far away from her family as possible. However, the audience sees that once she is finally out and in New York she realizes how much her home means to her. This is where we get the final glimpse of the self-acceptance idea that this movie is trying to sell. On a hungover walk downtown, she leaves her mom a voicemail, reflecting on the first time she drove in Sacramento- how overwhelming it felt to see all the bends she’d known her whole life from a different perspective. We’re reminded of an earlier scene in which Lady Bird’s principal nun compliments her college essay- how her love for Sacramento comes through in details. She goes to a church on a Sunday in New York to feel closer to home and to hold onto something familiar. “Lady Bird” became A24’s highest grossing film which made $27.9 million.

A specific story with universal, emotional resonance, Lady Bird shows us the fruits of paying attention. Lady Bird, in the end draws attention to some of the political views, the minds of young teenage girls, and the struggles of the middle class presently and in 2002.

The Namesake Identity

The Namesake by Jhumpa Lahiri is an enduring, life changing journey about a family that we watch grow and change throughout the years. In the beginning of the novel Ashima and Ashoke have moved to America from Calcutta, India. They’ve never known any other life than besides the one in India, and throughout the years they manage to hold onto their Indian traditions. The story follows the lives of Ashoke, Ashima, their son Gogol later known as Nikhil, after resentment of his uncommon and “meaningless” name, and their daughter Sonali or Sonia. The focus is mainly on the life of Gogol and his journey from grade school to adulthood, it covers the trials and triumphs he goes through with relationships, school, and ultimately his life of being Bengali. In college he ends up meeting his long-term girlfriend Maxine and he becomes in awe with her family, and they regularly have dinners at their place, they take a trip to New Hampshire to stay at their lake house, and he gets to be affectionate with Maxine around her parents, which are things he never got to do with or around his family.

It is during this time with Maxine that he begins to distance himself from his family and this is also when his father dies. His father’s death was very unexpected and out of nowhere, right before it happened Ashoke called Ashima saying he was in the hospital because he didn’t feel good, so she didn’t think anything of it, but then after hours of no calls from him she finds out through the hospital that he had a heart attack and didn’t make it. Once Gogol heard of this he flies out to Ohio, which is where his dad was currently living due to work and he goes to the hospital, which is where he has to identify his father’s body. Before he leaves he has to clean out the apartment he was staying in and basically tie up loose ends. Gogol eventually flies home and tries to continue his life. He eventually breaks up with Maxine because she represented a part of his life where he was the most distant from his family, which ultimately resulted in barely speaking to his father before his death. After months of dealing with his father’s death and his breakup from Maxine his mother sets him up with Moushumi, “an extended family member”, but not really family, only due to their Bengali heritage. They start to hangout more and more and within a year they are getting married.

He enjoys her because she understands his life and everything that comes with it. After a while of being married, Moushumi and Gogol start to drift apart, due to their lack of emotional and intellectual compatibilities. Moushumi starts to have an affair with a young love from her past, Dimitri, this goes on for months until she gets caught in a lie, they swiftly get a divorce after this. It is a year later during Christmas Eve, where they are having their final Christmas together in their home on Pemberton Road. The house where Ashoke and Ashima lived for over thirty years, where they build their lives and raised a family. This will be their final time together, before Ashima goes back to India, where she plans on staying for six months and another six months back in the U.S. The narrator flashes to Gogol’s perspective and in the final pages of the book he spends them in his room looking at the book his father gave him by Nikolai Gogol. It is then in those final moments that Gogol finally sits and reads and tries to connect with his father and after years he tries to understand why this was so important to him.

The book starts with Ashima only two weeks from her due date with their first child cooking in the kitchen and her husband Ashoke who at the time is a doctoral candidate in electrical engineering at MIT. Within moments Ashima calls for her husband to take her to the hospital, during this it is mentioned that “a husbands name is something intimate and therefore unspoken” (Lahiri 2) Instead of calling him by his name she replaces it roughly with an “Are you listening to me?” (Lahiri) Just from this beginning it shows us a glimpse of an aspect of their culture I wouldn’t have otherwise known.

The second chapter is about the birth of Ashima and Ashoke’s first son. With Ashima wanting to leave the hospital the staff informs her and Ashoke that they can’t leave until they fill out the birth forms which means they need to put down a name. In Bengali tradition, an elder from their family usually names the child, but they have not received the letter from their grandmother yet, so they are forced to name him. They give him the name Gogol, after the man who wrote the book that saved Ashoke’s life years earlier. This tradition of theirs is interesting, because two of my siblings were given their middle names from my great grandfather. It wasn’t required or tradition to be named by an elder in our culture unlike Ashoke and Ashima’s. My parents just believed it to fit my siblings and they were grateful that our great-grandfather named them. The culture and tradition that Ashima and Ashoke try to uphold in this is pleasing, because it shows that they want to continue their culture despite living in a country that doesn’t necessarily support there’s.

From grade school through high school Gogol hates his name. He thought, why couldn’t he just have a regular name like everyone else in his school. He just never knew the true meaning behind it until later on in his life. Right before he went away to college he decided to legally change his name from Gogol to Nikhil. This was an important part of the book because from the beginning of it up until he decided to change his name he hated being called it and knew that he couldn’t do anything about it. I feel that a main reason why he hated it so much is because of how different it was and that ultimately reflected on his family and how different they were from everyone else. Changing his name before going to college was a huge step for him because for once in his life no one would know him as Gogol, he could finally start over.

Throughout the book Gogol has different relationships, but none serious until he meets Maxine. It is through Maxine and her family that he feels a part of something other than his Bengali lineage. With them he feels like he’s always wanted to, to fit in. It is with them that he can be with Maxine openly, unlike his own family where he tries to hide any physical contact with Maxine around them. This time was important because this was the first time he felt so distant from his family. She gave him an out and ultimately a new way to look at life, without his Bengali lineage hanging in front of him.

This book had a deep root of family in it which is what intrigued me the most. I enjoyed following Gogol throughout his life, watching him grow in a country where he feels so different than everyone else, but yet trying so hard to be like everyone else. I found the variations of American culture vs. Indian culture very interesting, because the way they view certain things wouldn’t even cross my mind. My favorite part in the book that I enjoyed but was miniscule in the storyline is when Moushumi and Gogol go to Paris. I enjoyed this part because it was the first time Gogol gets to leave the life he’s always known, which is either Calcutta which he doesn’t like and America which is the only thing he’s known. When Gogol goes to Paris he sees Moushumi mingling with her friends and he can’t help but be a little envious of her. He’s envious of the life she’s created in Paris without any ties to her Indian heritage, it’s like she’s a completely different person there. During the trip, Gogol gets some alone time to himself and he gets to explore the city while Moushumi is working. While he is exploring on his own he gets lost a couple of times but eventually finds his way. This was the first time in Gogol’s life where he’s in a completely new environment where he’s not tied to anyone or any place, he can just live.

This book relates to ethnic study because it deals a lot with identity. Identity is how you define yourself and ultimately who you are. In the beginning of the novel Gogol deals with identity issues because of his name. He feels that Gogol has no meaning and therefore does not describe who he is or will be. He eventually changes his name legally, but growing up his family, friends, and extended family all know him as Gogol and will only know him as that. Throughout the novel, Gogol tries to hide his Bengali heritage from basically everyone he meets since going away to college. When trying to understand Gogol, I see him as someone who is confused about who he is, because of his home. From what I’ve noticed it seems like he doesn’t know where his home is, is it India or is it in Boston on Pemberton Road? I feel like he has these two conflicting worlds that he’s trying to uphold, and he doesn’t know how to balance it. Throughout the novel, he tries to get away from the Bengali heritage he’s grown up with, but it always seems to find him. What I’ve learned through this novel is that it doesn’t matter where you’re from, or the culture or family that you’ve grown up with. You can become whoever you want to be, but if you can continue to grow and learn in new places, and still carry the traditions and morals of your culture with you while you do it, you will not only be spiritually happier, but mentally and emotionally as well.

The World of Technology

Individuals believe technology, such as social media, smartphones and the internet, is making our world feel smaller and less connected with each other. Although the positive and negative effects of this growing technology is still not entirely understood by everyone. The advancements technology can bring may change the world around us for future generations such as in medicine or in national security. I have an aunt who moved to Florida a couple years ago and because of her work she is not able to vacation to New York as much as she pleases. Therefore, technology is important because with it I can Skype her or FaceTime her whenever we have a special event going on, so she and my uncle would be apart of it. I am originally from El Paso, Texas so I still have family that lives there, and video chatting and phone calls mean the world to us. Besides Skype and FaceTime, there are a variety of other apps that were developed to make communication easier such as Snapchat, Party House, Discord and OoVoo.

As important as keeping in touch with family is, individuals could fill job applications out online and that truly benefited me a lot. When I first turned 16, I did not own a car, so it was hard to go job hunting but now every career has an application online and I even got my first job that year.  There are even opportunities to obtain a degree with online education for those who have a family and don’t have the time to go out to a college. If there is even a question or word I don’t know I can immediately go to google.com and look it up rather than looking through a dictionary. Right now, I am taking a Spanish class, and I know if it weren’t for translation apps I would be completely lost. They help me pronounce and understand my work better when I’m alone at home rather than in school with my professor. Speaking of help, technology gives us emergency services wherever we go in the world. Now we can even text 911 in some places instead of calling if there is a dangerous emergency going on and it’s not safe to talk on the phone.

Social media even allows us to constantly communicate with people all over the country and the globe. For some individuals, social media is an outlet for those who have a hard time communicating in public for reasons such as social anxiety or developmental reasons. Technology has even made an impact in the medical field, bringing us new devices to further expand our doctor’s ability to help us, such as the MRI machine and heart monitors. Technology just brings so much convenience to our everyday lives if we really think about it. We can check the weather, emails, breaking news and do so much more with a smartphone in our hand. Nowadays, people don’t even need physical debit or credit cards or to go to the bank because our phones can be our new wallet and carry cards with us electronically. With the use of smartphones, there are opportunities to download bank's mobile app to make checking your account, or paying bills easier.

Although there are great bonuses to this type of technology, there is also great risks as well. Such as getting bank apps hacked or getting your phone stolen with all the information ready to be accessed. I do agree these risk are crucial but there are security measures put in place to prevent this information from getting out. Some bank apps even allow the use of an eye scan or a fingerprint in order to view bank accounts and make any payments or changes. From personal experience, this is what Keybank does with their mobile app to provide the best security.

Meanwhile, your banking app is not the only thing your fingerprint can do. Technology can even bring security to our homes and businesses in a click of a button. Now we can set up cameras around or in our houses and be able to see them right on your smartphone using a device called Google Home or Alexa. Such devices even allows homeowners to lock doors, turn on lights, and change the temperature in their homes with a click of a button. Not only has technology brought security to our homes, but it has brought safety to our country. (Homeland Security Article here & CVP)

Even with all these improvements to social media, medicine, emergency services, jobs, education, and many others, we must step back and address the other side of the technology argument. Is bringing more technology into our lives really working? Is technology going to continuously benefit us for years to come? Will technology eventually take over and make us lose our values as a society? All very good questions that someday we should address but what we really need to do is just accept and adopt technology into our lives to make future generations flourish and succeed.

We should not fear technology and what it brings us, we should adapt to it so we can constantly be advancing ourselves as a society. Soon there might not be any paper books available and downloading them on our smart devices will be the only option. Although some people may prefer one over the other, don’t think of that as a burden; think of it as a convenience to have everything in your pocket. Who knows what the next technological advancement will be in the future, maybe even robots will be available to us soon.

Yellow in the Great Gatsby

The colors gold and yellow stress a great importance of representation in fortune in F. Scott Fitzgerald’s novel The Great Gatsby. Throughout this novel, Fitzgerald makes the connection of yellow to sickness, fraud, and dying. Despite the slight difference in color, he objectively relates gold to the “superior” wealthy. He makes it evident throughout the book that fake fortune represents a declining future and genuine fortune represents a partially secure future.

Before Fitzgerald begins his novel, he explains the meaning of the entire novel through Thomas Parke D’Invilliers’ poem:

"Then he wear the gold hat, if that will move her;

If you can bounce high, bounce for too,

Till she cry “Lover, gold-hatted, high bouncing lover,

I must have you!” (1)"

Fitzgerald wants the reader to know this poem is the start of the novel by starting Chapter 1 on page 6 and this poem on page 1. The man in the poem, who wears a gold hat, attracts women with his riches and would not be able to attract women without them. This man mirrors a main character in The Great Gatsby, Jay Gatsby. Although Jay Gatsby wants to fit in with the gold image of Fitzgerald’s world, he is naturally portrayed with yellow qualities. Jay Gatsby is not the characters real name, suggesting Gatsby’s fake yellow character and how yellow represents whitewashing. Gatsby tries to impress Daisy Buchanan by wearing a “white flannel suit, silver shirt, and gold-colored tie” (89) showing his wealth, as gold is showing Gatsby’s impure earnings of his wealth. With Gatsby only wearing a gold tie, he tries to cover up his impurity by making himself appear as the golden figure, further proving how Gatsby is a yellow image. Gatsby also attempts to portray his fake wealth by throwing grand parties, where there are:

...buffet tables, garnished with glistening hors-d'oeuvre, spiced baked hams crowded

against salads of harlequin designs and pastry pigs and turkey bewitched to a dark gold.

The dark gold color represents Gatsby's wealth and also is another attempt to cover up that Gatsby’s a fraud and an imposter. But, the “dark” gold is perfectly portraying how Gatsby isn’t fitting in with the wealthy people of East Egg or could be representing how Gatsby’s future is not very bright. Gatsby’s house is a “factual imitation of some Hotel de Ville in Normandy” (9) and shows Gatsby, a character with yellow features, is a fraud, when the beauty of his house is reduced when one realizes the imitation of it. Gatsby’s death in the novel, being shortly after “disappearing among the yellowing trees” (169), shows how his entire life attempt to acquire false money was destined for destruction since the start. The yellow associated with his death, and his entire life, shows how attempting to live the gold standard life doesn’t end well.

Gatsby begins bootlegging when he realizes that Daisy, the woman thought to be the love of his life, leaves him for Tom Buchanan, a very wealthy individual. Gatsby attempts to start back where they left off once she sees that he has money, but things don’t work out and the gold associated Daisy, and yellow associated Gatsby, don’t mix. Daisy’s voice is described by Gatsby as, “full of money” (127) shows how even he thinks that she sounds like a snobby rich person. However, she is described as the “golden girl” (127) because she is idolized as being rich. These observations combined show that the color gold is categorized by people who are idolized in society and legitimate riches. Daisy’s house is “glowing with reflected gold” (11) shows how her house in East Egg, the more pure rich, as opposed to West Egg’s more cowardly bootlegged rich, is seen an idolized place to live.

Unlike gold, yellow is best portrayed by ideas in the novel. For example, the description of the overarching billboard in the valley of ashes can be explained:

The yellow eyes are a reflection of how society is full of corruption as well as impurity. Almost the entire of West Egg earned their riches through the bond business. The yellow spectacles of T.J. Eckleburg show how everyone is decaying, as the billboard is looking down on them, hinting that. Plus, the combined yellow spectacles and blue eyes form the color of money, green. The money associated with T.J. Eckleburg shows impurity. Secondly, Gatsby’s car, his yellow Rolls-Royce is a representation of how West Egg is connected to the color yellow. His car, the one that killed Myrtle, the woman Tom is having an affair with, represents how the color yellow is also associated with cheating and death. Everybody that gets in the car on the weekends is really showing everyone getting on the yellow business, the bond business, is a quick and easy way to make money. Although they are making money, the money is false, leading to decay, and isn’t forever.

Near the end of the novel, Nick refuses to enter Daisy’s home, but still admires it from the inside, shows Nick’s indecisive choices. His decision of not going in reflects how he does not wish to interact with the rich, yet at the same time he admires their glory. Nick saying, “I was within and without, simultaneously enchanted and repelled by the inexhaustible variety of life” (40), explains that wealth seems to be idolized, prized, and generally good, but it isn’t all that. Wealth isn’t as glamorous as it is portrayed to be. By the end of the novel, Nick understands that more money doesn’t mean more happiness. Everything on the outside seems fancy, but once you’re on the inside, you’ll want more, as Nick experienced. The yellow and gold that Fitzgerald symbolized provided an idea of what society was in the 1920’s and how it is increasingly getting worse through the years.

Should College be Free for Everyone

Have you ever heard about how much college debts, expenses, transportation and materials that you guys need for your classes? But when everyone has to go pay for books they need for classes or a computer for access, debt can become more overtime if not paid, and more money for transportation on campus. Everyone should have it free because it will get more students, let others achieve their goals and let people become a better place.

If there was a free college, it would help them that don’t have as much money and encourage them. This encourages people that are poorer, for them to get a college education, also giving the poor people opportunities that the rich get (Deming). According to “Free College - Top 3 Pros and Cons”, It will increase the education and the skills for the workforce in an affordable manner. If the cost is more than what your family can pay then you’ll get college grants to cover the cost (Lobosco). That is why free college is good to help people that can’t pay for college.

Free college can also help us in the future when the college people get older and help the world from what they do. Most students that earn a college degree or achieve higher earnings from the postsecondary credential and become a positive outcome (Duncan). According to “Free College - Top 3 Pros and Cons”, You can get enrolled part-time or longer if your institution of higher education leads to an associate degree or a regional high demand field. Also from “Free College - Top 3 Pros and Cons”, If it approves more education will get more people enrolled for longer in an institution of higher education, the total amount of tuition, fees and than average charges from approving for two years. That is why it will help us in the future when we will have more people.

They will have more money after their college lives for their family or a baby that they could possibly have. But they might buy cars, spend money on healthy foods, travel more and contribute more to the economy (Andersen). They must tend those that fund college the least (Deming). Lastly, so that they don’t need to ask to use their money to pay for expenses like their rooms (Lobosco). That is why the money will help the students after.

Free college will require tax going up and make more higher education. According to “Joinknack.com”, It will require tax increases or forces states to move resources into better education, for example, health care, prisons, roads, and K-12 education. But it can help us in the future when they get older and help the world from their jobs. There will be more devoting and more public spending to policies that will encourage the students that are poor to get a college education and that will give them opportunities like the rich students get (Duncan). That is who there is a better pro than a con because it gets better at the end of everything.

Everyone should’n have free college to make the population of citizens and let students do what they wanted to do, but if it wasn't free they couldn’t. Also, there are better ways for students to stay in college. It should be welcoming and make the communities a better place. Lastly, it makes it easier for the people that can’t work as much. In conclusion, that’s why free colleges are the way to go.

Essay on Marvel History

Not many of us know about the history of Marvel. It seems like their movies have been in existence for several decades. We all know their movies have gained millions of dollars at the box office, but it turns out that Marvel was not alway successful. Marvel had to work their way up to become the brand they are today. There is one who we can thank for all these fantastic movies that keep getting better and better. Marvel Studios gained its success from president Kevin Feige and his ability to take risks.

Marvel seems to be on the top of the totem pole when it comes to films, but there was a time when DC dominated the world of superheros, when Marvel Studios did not exist nor did Warner Bros’ DC instead there was Marvel Comics and DC comics. In this time, superhero films did not control the world, only comics did. In every comic book, the hero reaches his darkest point when he is on his knees, the city's in ruins, and the villain is about to kill him or her. It feels like there is no hope. Marvel reached its darkest point occurred in 1996.

Marvel had grown substantially during the 60s, 70s, and 80s due to the storytelling and art in the comics like the Fantastic Four and The Amazing Spider Man. It had its most financial success in the 90s. During this time, there was a boom in violent crimes. The popularity of comics were starting to decline and this caused a lack of interest. Marvel’s stock went from $35.75 in 1993 to $2.375 in 1996. Marvel’s future was up in the air. DC comics was also affected by this lack of interest. The rise of DC comics occured when the comic book industry decided to take a different approach. DC comics took a huge risk by killing off many of their main popular heros; this can be seen in the comic the Death of Superman. This increase in crime rate levels caused an increase in vigilante type characters. All the heroes that have “dead,” “death”, and “blood in their names were from this era. This brought an increase in sales, but still the comic industry continued to decline.

Sandman writer Neil Gaiman gave a speech gave a speech to 3,000 retailers about the collection and sale of comics in the year 1993. In short, he told the retailers to collect as much comics as they can since they might be worth a fortune and attract buyers by telling them that they are investing money for high guaranteed returns. He said that the comic book revenues would not be as high in the future. A lot of the collecting was already happening a few years prior to the speech and comic books gained the interest of mainstream media by the 1980s. Golden Age comics sold for thousands of dollars. Publishers began creating comics that had colorful covers with fancy writing and the buyers sucked it all up. The readers knew that there could be a hefty profit in the future if they stored up all the copies of comic books. In the meantime, Rob Perelman, millionaire businessman, took an interest in Marvel. He bought the Marvel Entertainment Group that was owned by New World Pictures at the time. Perelman bought shares in ToyBiz (another company) as well as trading card companies, and more in the first two years Marvel was on the stock market. Marvel had to pay approximately $700 million to pay for this.

Marvel had great success with the Spiderman and X-Men comics. It replicated its success with a new comic, X-Force, but this time Marvel had a trick up its sleeve. Marvel added five different tradings cards for the first issue. The collectors had to buy multiple versions of the comic to get all five trading cards. Multiple copies were bought for saving and one of them was opened for reading purposes.

Marvel lost its ground like Gaiman thought it would. Revenues from the comic books and trading cards fell. Perelman was blamed for this, but he fought back claiming that if he raised the prices Marvel fans will begin would spend a lot more money on buying comics. To prove it, he sold 40% of Marvel’s stock, which more than he payed for the whole company. He over promised though, which led to his downfall. He told investors that he would increase the price and do brand extensions. He said that most fans would stay loyal despite all these changes. Fans started to quit collecting in early 1993 because of the high prices. Retailers were getting affected by the sales going down by 70%. No one had expected this not even Perelman.

Marvel was in serious debt by the time 1995 rolled around. To save the company, Perelman came up with a plan: to create Marvel Studios. He decided to buy the shares left in ToyBiz and combine them with Marvel’s shares to create a mega entity. Marvel shareholders disagreed with this plan and that the share prices would be destroyed. Perelman took it upon himself to find a way to carry out his plan without the shareholders agreement: file for bankruptcy. Many stockholders such as Carl Icahn publicly went against Perelman. A court case ensued; the result was ToyBiz and Marvel Entertainment Group came together. But anyone associated with Perlman and Icahn had their careers ruined at Marvel. This include CEO Scott Sassa who only lasted in his position for 8 months. This occured due to two executive members of ToyBiz who had been on Marvel’s board since the year of 1993. These members were Isaac Perlmutter and Avi Arad. They made Joseph Calamari the new CEO; he had been part of Marvel in the 80s. With Marvel’s board members calming down, Marvel decided to give it a go at the movie business, something they had been trying since the 80s.

Avi Arad was the CEO of ToyBiz and was named 'the hottest developer in the toy business.” His success doubled in 1993 when Marvel purchased 46 percent of the shares in ToyBiz. In return, Arad received 10 percent of the shares. At first, he oversaw Marvel action figures production and then he made Stan Lee in charge of Marvel Films.

Arad was an executive producer on the very popular animated TV series X-Men and in the summer of 1993, he had made a deal with 20th Century Fox to create a X-Men movie. Marvel had struggled to get its popular characters onto the big screen: the rights to Spiderman could not be figured until the late 1990s and 1986’s Howard The Duck was ripped apart critically and financially. Due to the past failures, many Hollywood executives did not believe Marvel’s movies could bring success critically and financially. But they were proved wrong as Blade was a hit, earning $70 million dollars at the box office. Unfortunately, Marvel only earned $25,000 from the film. The X-Men and Spiderman films were also hits, but Marvel again got a small profit from both films.

David Maisel, a talent agent, asked Perlmutter two questions. Why could Marvel not produce the movies under their name and keep the profits? Why could Marvel not do crossovers with characters from other universes like in the comics? These two ideas could make Marvel worth millions even though Marvel’s stock had stabilized in 1996, Marvel thought it could improve more. There was an issue though, these two ideas needed to go through Marvel’s board of directors and from there Marvel needed to get the appropriate financing.

Marvel was able to make a risky deal with Merrill Lynch in order to get the financing that they needed. In exchange, Marvel had to give characters up like Thor and Captain America to the bank if the films did not get enough money. Merrill Lynch gave Marvel $525 million to use over seven years for 10 films with budgets ranging from $45 million to $180 million. Marvel bought back some of the rights of the characters they sold: Iron Man, Black Widow, Thor, and Hulk. Initially, Iron Man was owned by Universal, then sold to Fox, and finally sold to New Line. Marvel announced that Iron Man would be featured in their first independent production.

While work on Iron Man began, Kevin Feige came onto the scene. Feige started off his career by being an assistant to producer Lauren Shuler Donner, Richard Donner’s wife. Next, he got the role of the producer on Fox’s production of X-Men at just 27 years old. He went on to produce Spider-Man, Daredevil, and Hulk. He was brought to the president of Marvel Studios in the year 2007. Thanks to Kevin Feige, Marvel was flourishing. Iron Man, which was Feige’s first credit as a producer for Marvel, earned a whopping $585 million. Downey was able to draw upon his own experiences with success and failure and relate that to his character, which made his onscreen character seem one in the same as his offscreen character. This made him an instant hit in the movie world.

In 2009, Disney purchased Marvel for $4.3 billion. Avi Arad claimed this was a steal for Disney. Marvel continued to blossom, The Avengers made billions of dollars and is ranked as third highest grossing film of all time. Iron Man was the second film of Marvel’s to gross more than $1 billion. Guardians Of The Galaxy made approximately $750 million plus. Black Panther made $1 billion plus as well and is one of the highest grossing films of all time.

In my opinion, films like Black Panther and Thor: Ragnarok were very successful were due to their directors. Thor: Ragnarok shows Thor and his home of Asgard in a way we never saw before: not boring. The tone of this move is a complete shift from the other Thor movies and it is one of the funniest movies in this decade. The film takes advantage of the strangeness of space and their characters instead of trying to make sense of it. Taika Waititi, the director, creates emotion connection to his characters. Ryan Coogler, the director of Black Panther, also included humor in his film and he believed that it came from developing character. This film gave us both female and male superheroes. Coogler knew if he directed this film well and choose the right cast members, this movie could be a hit. This film has an ulterior motive, it shows us that superhero movies can be entertaining, but have a cultural impact as well. It celebrates Africa and its beauty and gave someone Africans as well as African Americans someone they could relate to.

What’s in store for the future? Marvel currently has nine more films lined up. One of these films is part two of the third Avengers film (2019): The Avengers: Endgame. Another one is the Spider-Man: Homecoming Sequel (2019), which is Spider-Man: Far From Home. A third one is Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (2020). I am sure these will be just as successful as their previous movies based on their past history.

Marvel has impacted many fans such as myself culturally in many ways. Moviegoers are infatuated with these characters and care about their fate. Children look up to these characters and adults love to see the characters’ personal growth. Marvel has transformed the public opinion of comic books movies from cheesy into action packed, must see films. Marvel has inspired many other movie studios to shoot their shot in the movie industry such as Warner Bros’ DC. It is interesting to see how Marvel now dominates the film industry and DC dominates the animated TV show world with shows like Justice League and Young Justice in the early 2000s . In terms of comics, who is better now that is another story. To me personally, Marvel characters come off as more relatable to working class citizens. Marvel movies are about people trying to be superheros, while DC movies are about superheros trying to be people. Marvel has characters that are more vulnerable, driven by personal conflict, and more genuine compared to DC. Also, Marvel has learned how to adapt to the different times. For example, in the 60s, the US was dealing with racial segregation and the civil rights movement created mutants so people who were discriminated against their genetics would have their own characters to look up to. In today’s day and age, people want to see something different and Marvel has a good thing going. When one thinks of superhero films, they always think that the protagonist is faced with a struggle, but is able to win in the end. This is not in Marvel’s case though as films such as Avengers: Infinity War, almost all the characters end up dead. Marvel is breaking out of this stereotype. Another way Marvel is different is they are trying to give personality to their characters using a unique kind of humor in films like Thor: Ragnarok. People come to the movies for an escape and love to see light hearted humor incorporated in action filled films.

Marvel’s success and its ability to beat out the competition would not have come if not for Kevin Feige. He took many risks, he gave his directors full creative control over their films even if their ideas were not conventional. He took Marvel from bankruptcy to millions. Marvel has adapted with the times and will continue to succeed for generations to come. Marvel has survived its judgement day.

Marvel Vs Dc Compare and Contrast

Introduction

Are any of you into superhero movies? If so, do you want to see Captain Marvel or Aquaman more? As an avid Marvel fan, I definitely want to see Captain Marvel more than I want to see Aquaman, a DC movie.

Because these superhero movies are coming out soon, I want you to know why Marvel is having more success than DC and I know the topic well as I love all superhero movies.

So today, I will be telling you why Marvel is more successful due to the relatable and famous actors and characters, the content that attracts fans, and finally, I will inform you about the other side of my argument: why people might think DC movies are better.

Transition: Would you like to see an action movie with Tom Cruise or with a new actor you’ve never heard of? I would say Tom Cruise.

Famous Actors and Relatable Characters

Seeing how Tom Cruise affected my answer, is it possible for the actors in Marvel to make it more attractive to people compared to DC?

According to Anita Elberse in the Journal of Marketing at Harvard in 2007, states that this is what most movie studios believe. She states that films with well-known actors in them tend to bring in more revenue during the opening week compared to films with lesser known actors.

Also, according to Symeon Thompson from News Weekly in 2016, audiences also tend to gravitate towards the actors and characters that are more relatable. Specifically, in Marvel, the X-Men were not aliens or gods, they were merely humans with mutations in their DNA. Although very different from normal humans, their struggles with being accepted by humanity allowed audiences to connect with them through their struggles. The success of X-Men can also be attributed to when it was released. It was originally released while the US was going through a struggle of civil rights when people were struggling with being accepted as well and people were able to connect to it easily.

Transition: As you can see, it is not only the characters but the content as well that attracts audiences to Marvel.

Content attracts fans

According to Josh Weiss in an article in SyfyWire, this year, an experiment was done using an emotional recognition software, to determine how a movie trailer caught the audience's attention and if they would be willing to tell other people about the trailer. In the experiment, it was shown that the audience connected more with Marvel trailers and the characters and this is accredited to the humor in the trailers. 78% of the people said they loved the second movie of Guardians of the Galaxy mainly because of the humor and the characters.

However, when testing people on a DC trailer, the people were not able to connect with the characters and stated that it was the action and special effects that attracted them to it.

Also, according to Melissa O’Rourke from Sacred Heart University, this year, Marvel is also able to attract a wide range of viewers because of the different genres that make up the films. For example, in Guardians of the Galaxy, the film has many genres including action, comedy, science fiction, and more. Marvel is able to have more success this way as they are targeting more than one group.

Transition: Although the argument that Marvel is far more successful is strong, it is important to know the downsides as well, such as the copycat effect.

Counterargument and rebuttal (The copycat effect)

According to Keith Reid-Cleveland in his article on The Daily Dot this year, both Marvel and DC have been taking ideas from each other for a long time. Both are guilty of copying other characters from each other and changing them to create their own character.

For example, Marvel created the character “Deadpool” after DC created “Deathstroke”. As you can see in the picture, Deadpool is very similar in design to Deathstroke. Also, it seems that DC created the character “Aquaman” three years after Marvel created “Namor”. Aquaman and Namor are insanely similar as both as kings of the sea, run the city of Atlantis and have many more similar traits.

Transition: There are many more examples of the copycat effect but both Marvel and DC have done it to each other for a long time.

Conclusion

In conclusion, Marvel has found the perfect way of attracting audiences whether it be through the actors they hire, the characters they create, and the content they write. And although Marvel is guilty of copying a few characters from DC, DC has done the exact same to Marvel. Now whether you chose to see a Marvel movie or a DC movie next, it is up to you. But just know that statistically, Marvel should satisfy your wants better than DC can.

Moving to a New Country

There are plenty of countries in this world to visit, but how about living in. Located north of Denmark and Germany, to the west of Sweden, and north-east to the United Kingdom is the unique and lovely country Norway. Not many people might be interested in living in this pretty small country off the coast of Sweden. Even though the weather might not be extremely hot and have beach days, there are so many other reasons why this is the place for everyone. Norway is categorized as one of the top countries in the world, and there are great reasons for that. Everyone will want to settle here after reading why. Providing information about Norway’s stunning scenery and geography, education system, healthcare benefits, and the government, it will be clear why this is the desired country to live in. Loving nature, or anything to do with the outdoors, Norway is the perfect place. As written in “15 Reasons Why Living in Norway Is Awesome”, “You have everything from majestic mountains, waterfalls, glaciers and green hillsides—not to mention the wonderful fjords” (Locke, 2018). There is a variety of wonderful scenery in this country. Anyone would love it after visiting. Norway has similar seasons to the United States, so it will not be much of a difference.

People who especially enjoy it being a little cooler, instead of intense heat, will enjoy living here. With the summer temperatures being around 70 degrees. With living in Norway, always dress appropriately since it will be on the colder side. Since this country has so many reasons to be outdoors, dressing warm will help it be more enjoyable. From seeing the northern lights, hiking up mountains, camping, walking under waterfalls or kayaking through fjords, which are inlets of sea between cliffs, everyone will have an experience of a lifetime here. Norway is very individualistic in the geography. It is the most northerly and one of the greatest mountainous countries in Europe. As said before, Norway has so many different landforms to view and discover. Waterfalls, glaciers, and mountains can be seen all over. Tours can be taken to view certain ones and will be breathtaking and unlike any other place saw before. A law that is put in place in Norway is called “allemannsrett”. This law says how people can camp anywhere in Norway, except of course private homes and properties, and national parks. This is such a creative law because camping is so much cheaper than fancy hotels. It can really get a person in the outdoors and become one with nature and experience the full view. So, if hiking and camping sound like an adventure, then Norway can fill that desire. With discussing some of the amazing scenery, outdoor activities, and geography to be experienced in Norway, the next piece of information to be learned is all about the education system. Learning is vital for everyone no matter where in the world. Parents want children to be smart and happy. Education is the key to success in life and can be shown in many different ways. In Norway, receiving an education is important. Norway is known for valuable education benefits. When deciding on what country will help certain families or people, look to Norway, for this choice is obvious. Since this country has completely free public schooling, families will not have to carry that burden of money with paying for school. In the article titled “WHY NORWEGIAN EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM IS THE BEST IN EUROPE”, it says “All public studying is totally free and different municipal corporations are responsible for effective functioning of local public schools” (Adler, 2015). Families looking for a good education for children, need to research into Norway.

Norway’s school system is unique. It is similar to the United States in the way that children must attend school starting at six years old till the age of sixteen. But, they have three educational levels called Barneskole (primary school), Ungdomsskole (lower secondary school) and Videregående Skole (upper secondary school). Primary school lasts from six years old until the child is thirteen. No actual grades are given to students in this first level of schooling. Lower secondary school starts at age thirteen. Here, students have to get good points to be able to attend upper secondary school. With the Norwegian school system being a little different from the United States, it still gives a lot of good principals and learning skills that children are being taught. It is especially helpful that there is no cost to parents, so there are no worries for children to not get a great education. At the college level, international students get free tuition. But, that does not include living expenses, which can be true for anywhere. Knowing that education is free in this country can be a huge pro for people looking to seek higher education, or looking to start a family. After figuring out the education part of this country, what about the healthcare? That is essential for every person in the world. Everyone wants free healthcare and to be able to have access to it, so is that the case for Norway. In Norway, healthcare is accessible to everyone.

This is not something prevalent in all countries in the world. A lot of countries have little to no healthcare at all, or it is way too expensive. Living in Norway people have this great advantage with healthcare. This being the numerous benefits, easy access, and how inexpensive it is. According to the website InterNations, they say, “The healthcare policy is controlled centrally by the government; the system is financed through taxes, social security contributions, and out-of-pocket co-payments, and it is equally accessible by all residents, regardless of their income. With a total annual health expenditure of 8.3% of the GDP (as of 2016), this sector also acts as one of the largest employers in Norway” (Healthcare in Norway, n.d.). So in Norway, the reason there is mostly free healthcare is that of taxes. Just like in the United States and how taxes are taken out of paychecks, same goes there. A national insurance scheme is what this system is called in Norway. Living in Norway just might be the perfect fit for a lot of people looking into what the healthcare system is like. With this being said, there are also other benefits that go along with the healthcare. The United States does not guarantee paid maternity leave but only in three states. Employers can give paid leave if they choose to do so though. This is wrong for the employers of the pregnant women and the fathers to get to choose if they get paid time off. It should be a right for parents to recieve this time off to spend time with new children. If a person is looking to live somewhere where precious time will be recieved after birth, Norway is an option. It is a different story in Norway with maternity leave.

In Norway, up to forty-six weeks of parental leave paid at full is given. Fathers can also get fourteen weeks, unlike the United States and many other countries. This is such a necessity for any parents, to be able to spend time with new children and recover from pregnancy for women. Also, a good benefit for elderly citizens is that when over the age of sixty-seven, and if the requirements are met, a state pension of a thousand dollars a month is received. Including shorter work weeks and longer paid holidays. Having a guarantee to these benefits makes living in Norway more dependable. Growing older, it can cuase worry sometimes if there will be enough money to last a person. Knowing that everyone has this opportunity to get these healthcare benefits is relieving. Anyone can find a reason to move here, especially with healthcare being a top priority, since everyone needs healthcare in life. It is a necessity. Healthcare does tie in with the government, because of it being paid and controlled by it. So, next talking about Norway's government will help people better understand this country with healthcare and why it is superior to others. Norway's government is considered a constitutional monarchy type of democracy. It is not too different from the United States. People are voted into office but go through the monarch and other chosen people to approve.

In Norway, the people are heard when participating in government-related actions. Such as voting in Norway, everyone is automatically registered to vote. So numbers are so much higher than the United States for example. Just from learning this, people who are so into politics and standing for certain rules with the country should want to be a part of a place that has everyone so involved. The government can get into the wrong hands and turn bad. It also can be used to be all about money as well. In Norway that is not the case. The government elects people who only want to improve the country and do well being in charge. Individuals who hope for a better secure government that will help with everyday living, such as healthcare and education, will look towards this location. The government in Norway plays a huge role in the free healthcare idea. The government controls the healthcare system as said before. It is financed by the taxes taken out of co-payments and checks. It is so gratifying to know that Norway does not discriminate against any type of age, race, gender, income, or area of residence. So no matter what, healthcare will be available for anyone who lives in Norway. No person will ever have to worry about being treated differently because of any of these factors. Norway is the perfect place to go to, where there are no harsh judgments. With all of these healthcare benefits from the government, Norway has been shown to be one of the most respectful places in the world to live in. Altogether, with these factors put in place, Norway can be the country with all kinds of different advantages for the people.

No matter the circumstances, Norway itself can be there for people. In conclusion, Norway has breathtaking scenery and different kinds of geography all over the country, an outstanding education system, healthcare benefits for anyone no matter who, and government not too different from the United States, but shows increased involvement from the country. With scenery that is not found anywhere else in the world, Norway is unique. Any person who is just the slightest bit interested in this country should go for a visit. The results are amazing and could even end up in living there. From magnificent mountains, icy glaciers, grand hillsides to uncommon fjords between land masses. If an individual is an environment lover, Norway is just the place. The education methods followed is also very similar to the U.S., but has many advantages. With all schooling being free, and children not being brought down by grades, kids excel in learning. Higher education is also free to all students who study abroad. Many people are choosing to go to Norweigan universities because of the lesser expenses with school. This has shown to bring Norway up to a higher level. Also with the healthcare benefits, people are being able to afford more. The elderly are getting state pensions, and mothers and fathers are able to receive maternity leave with pay to spend more time at home instead of worrying about losing jobs. Everyone would love to acquire these healthcare benefits in life. Norway will guarantee them. The government is related to the United States, where people are voted into offices. But, it has been shown that everyone is automatically registered to vote, and it is a huge deal over there where it is wrong if people do not vote. This is showing increased society involvement with the government. If a person is into the government and being invloved, then Norway is a considerable location to start at. With all of these special terms being set into perspective, it is clear why this would be an interesting and significant place to settle down. When deciding on a home that benefits everyone in life, look to Norway that gives off beauty and uniqueness.

Death in Romeo and Juliet

Romeo and Juliet’s decisions ultimately lead to their deaths. There are many factors that need to be considered when examining the reason for their deaths. The time period’s gender roles are a big factor, as well as the people and surroundings of Romeo and Juliet. Women’s expectations then are very different than those of today. Same for the men; they had different expectations than nowadays. The surroundings of Romeo and Juliet and the way they were raised can also affect the decisions they made that lead to their deaths. Gender roles of the time and the surroundings of Romeo and Juliet effected their outcome because of the expectations and their decisions, as well as the time period, eventually lead to their death.

The way women were treated and their expectations at the time were very different compared to those of the present. This influenced Juliet’s decision making and outcome. Very early in the play, it shows how men thought of women. Most, if not all of page seven of?Romeo and Juliet, shows how women were treated and viewed by men. A piece of text that shows this is page seven when Gregory says, “That means you’re the weak one, because weaklings get pushed up against the wall.” Sampson responds by saying, “You’re right. That’s why girls get pushed up against walls-they’re weak.” (Shakespeare) As a result of women being seem as weak, Juliet may have wanted to show men otherwise when she made some of the decisions, such as marrying Rome without her parents’ permission. She may have thought that some of the expectations of the time were unreasonable and unfair towards the women. On page 59, Capulet says, “Welcome, gentlemen. The ladies who don’t have corns on their toes will dance with you. Ha, my ladies, which of you will refuse to dance now? Whichever of you acts shy, I’ll swear she has corns.” (Shakespeare) He is forcing the women to dance by swearing that they have corns if they don’t dance. This is another example of women’s gender expectation of the time. Only the women were discussed and insulted, not the men. Gender expectations at the time were not favored towards women to any extent and this altered some of Juliet’s decisions.

The male gender expectations of the time would affect Romeo’s decisions and outcome. Men during Romeo and Juliet’s time period were expected to always act tough and show as little emotion as possible. They were taught that showing emotion showed that you were weak, and cowardly. Friar Lawrence and Romeo were discussing Romeo’s past love for Rosaline and Friar Lawrence said, 'I scolded you for obsessing over her, not for loving her, my student.” Romeo responded by saying, “And you told me to bury my love.” (Shakespeare) Friar Lawrence telling Romeo to bury his love for Rosaline shows that during this time, it was best for men to hide their emotions, rather than show them or tell others. On page 9, Gregory says to Sampson, “How will you back me up-by turning you back and running away?” (Shakespeare) By saying this, Gregory indirectly tells Sampson that he mustn’t be cowardly and that he needs to stand up and “be a man.” This is another example of the expectations of men. Men can show emotion more emotion now, than they could back then. Romeo’s decisions were affected by the male gender expectations of the time, mainly the lack of emotion they must show.

Juliet’s surroundings and her upbringing affected the decisions and choices she made. Marrying young had a large impact and the entire situation. On page 29, Capulet, discusses Juliet’s marriage situation with Paris and says, “She’s not even fourteen years old. Let’s wait two more summers before we start thinking she’s ready to get married.” Paris responds by saying, “Girls younger than she often marry and become happy mothers.” The age expectancy during the time period of Romeo and Juliet was much lower than it is nowadays due to the advancement of technology and medication. Juliet felt pressured to marry and wanted to marry someone who loved her, and she loved back, Romeo, rather than someone who loved her, but she didn’t love back, Paris. Juliet’s decisions were also affected by her mother’s parenting style. Her mother was uninvolved, and the Nurse acted as her mother more than her biological mother did. Number four in the article “4 Types of Parenting Styles and Their Effects on Kids: What’s Your Parenting Style?” is Juliet’s mother’s parenting style. The article says, “They usually don't devote much time or energy into meeting children's basic needs,” and “Uninvolved parents tend to have little knowledge of what their children are doing.” Juliet’s mother hired the Nurse right after Juliet was born, and the Nurse and Juliet became close. The mother and Juliet didn’t become close because she wasn’t there for her the way the nurse was. This led to Juliet feeling rebellious and marrying Romeo instead of Paris without her mother’s approval. Juliet's decisions were affected by her mother’s uninvolved parenting style and the time period’s expectation to marry young.

Romeo’s surroundings, as well as the people he was around, affected his decisions and outcome. He friends and the people who helped him altered his opinions and thoughts. Romeo and Juliet’s decisions and outcome would have been much different if the two families didn’t have a feud. On page 83, Romeo says, “I hate my name, dear saint, because my name is your enemy. If I had it written down, I would tear up the paper.” Juliet responds by saying, “Aren’t you Romeo? Aren’t you a Montague?” Romeo answers with, “I am neither of those things if you dislike them.” (Shakespeare) The two teenagers would have been able to be together, happily, if they weren’t raised to hate each other’s families. They would have had different opportunities and their lives wouldn’t have ended. Romeo’s friends also affected their outcome. Benvolio tells Romeo to forget about Rosaline and look at other girls to do so. They go to a Capulet party together and Romeo meets Juliet. Benvolio alters Romeo’s opinions and outcome by teaching him to forget about Rosaline. Romeo’s situation and his friends affected his decisions and outcome drastically.

While gender expectations and nurture affected Romeo and Juliet’s decisions and outcome, it could be argued that nature had more of an effect than nurture. Teenage brains are not fully developed, therefore, can lead to decisions that may not make as much sense to adults as they do to teens. An article by Hannah Osborne says, 'There are numerous studies showing impulsivity in adolescents and this often results in the partaking in high-risk behavior.” (Osborne) Another article by FRONTLINE producer Sarah Spinks says, “The teens seemed not only to be misreading the feelings on the adult’s face, but they reacted strongly from an area deep inside the brain.” (Spinks) These statements show that the undeveloped brain of a teenager can lead to them making decisions that may be risky or absurd. An example of this would be when Juliet faked her death, when there were other, more safe options to solve her problem. In Kathryn Mallari’s summary of Sigmund Freud’s main theories, she states, “The concept of the unconscious was central to Freud’s view of the mind. He believed that the majority of what we experience day-to-day (the emotions, beliefs and impulses) takes place in the unconscious and is not viewable to us in the conscious mind.”(Mallari) This means that our emotions and impulses aren’t something we can control, but something that just happens. Similarly, Romeo and Juliet didn’t think about their decisions because of their immature brains and unconscious thinking. Romeo and Juliet’s outcome could be argued to be because of their mature rather than gender and nurture.

In conclusion. Romeo and Juliet’s decisions and outcome were majorly affected by gender expectations and their surroundings because of the role they played that lead to their death. Both men and women’s gender expectations of the time were different than they are now. That, as well as surroundings of Romeo and Juliet caused a tragic outcome for the two teenagers. If the families didn’t have a feud or if the gender expectations were different, Romeo and Juliet might not have killed themselves.

Moonlight Essay

Moonlight shows the existence of a strange black kid singled out for being excessively delicate and ladylike, however ultimately changes himself to a menacingly solid street pharmacist with gold teeth barbecues highlighting his maleness. The film isolates the excursion of a juvenile kid into masculinity into three parts. At first, he is displayed as delicate and hesitant, harassed by his colleagues in early youthfulness, which progressively increments in the second part when as a young person, his sexual character is foiled, and in the long run, in the third section changes into a solid man who actually conveys his hesitant way as a safeguard guarding his most cozy longings. Barry Jenkins, the chief, utilizes race and sexuality as an instrument to feature the emergency in the fundamental person's life.

The film is loaded with pictures of race and sexuality. Racial issues of the African American people group are exhibited through (1) forceful Black manliness that belittles any individual who is excessively delicate or frail, (2) illicit drug use and dependence, and (3) useless families and its impact on youngsters. Issues identified with sexuality becomes fast approaching through (1) homophobic treatment of any individual who doesn't follow the manly develop of the general public, (2) quiet invalidation of their inborn tendencies that makes character emergency among gay people, and (3) underestimation of the gay people inside the unnecessarily forceful African American community.

Moonlight is a transitioning film about a dark kid during the 1980s Miami. Notwithstanding, the film is considerably more than that. It is about a gay dark kid experiencing childhood in a general public loaded with destitution, illicit drug use, and forceful manliness. The issues that arise in the film are identified with masculinity, neediness, and illicit drug use in the African American population. The character emergency of a gay dark kid attempting to acclimate to the forceful manliness and savagery are the other racial and sexual issues examined in the film. The African American population during the 1980s Miami was exceptionally forceful were young men, particularly youngsters, felt the strain to turn out to be plainly brutal. Chronic drug use and savagery were normal issues. However the film shows no unequivocal brutality, yet its quality is all-invading. The forcefulness with which little youngsters menace the quiet and feeble shows how the local area outlines the brain of young men. Hostility turns into the image of male character that is emphasizd by hetero male sexuality.

The film verbosely shows the growing up of Chiron in three sections – first as a kid, then, at that point as a teen, and afterward as a grown-up in mid-twenties. As a kid, Chiron grows up with a medication fiend mother in a cold family climate and is tormented at school. This makes a voiceless person keeping an emotional hesitance all through the film. Chiron's quietness is representative of the voiceless dark gay local area. Chiron, nicknamed Little in the main section of the film, is befuddled and powerless. He can't adjust to the contentious manliness of the African American population and becomes prey to his harassing cohorts. So he turns into an obvious objective of his friends who regularly allude to him as "faggot" (Moonlight).

The film shows the disguise of the dark generalization that has been forced on them through the ages. The neediness stricken underestimated local area is the focal point of the film with no presence of white characters. It shows how the local area that has disguised the dark generalization underestimates the people who neglect to hold fast to their ideas of manliness (Semley 58). Little is an odd presence in the exceptionally fiery, rambunctious African American community that prizes sheer virile power. Subsequently, this odd kid turns into the punching sack for his friends just as his mom who attempts to adapt to single parenthood and illicit drug use. In the subsequent part named Chiron, the person is displayed in his youngsters. He is gaunt, lean, moody, and terrified. His colleagues assault him savagely both obnoxiously and actually. Forceful young chemicals are communicated through obtrusive sex talk among dark young men, which shows how the local area shapes masculinity among its childhood. At the point when Kevin, his lone comrade, because of his assailant's sadomasochistic torture attacks him, Chiron will not stop a protest against any of them. He is rebuked by his head for not being a "man" for she accepts that assuming he had been one, there would have been a couple more young men sitting with him with broken noses (Moonlight). This occasion adjusts Chiron's person totally and he forcefully assaults and beats his victimizers.

In this setting of hyper-manliness, his medication bewildered mother and forceful classmates, unfit to acknowledge his sexual tendencies, abuse Chiron. He is scolded by his friends as "faggot" and is prey to their physical and boisterous attack. Chiron's mom is condemning of her child's discourse, idiosyncrasy, and swishy walk (Zaman 42). As a young man, Chiron is tormented by his colleagues and was called names he didn't comprehend. Some way or another the general public was at that point mindful of Chiron's sexual tendencies in any event, when he was ignorant of his sentiments. Chiron couldn't comprehend his sexual desires as a youngster and as a kid. He couldn't comprehend why his companions called him names obscure to him. Chiron asked Juan the importance of "faggot". He even asked Juan "Am I a faggot" (Gilbey 50). This shows that the inquiry in regards to his homosexuality had effectively been upsetting youthful Chiron who was at this point to find his sexual direction. Nonetheless, Juan consoles him that it was flawlessly entirely expected to be gay yet not right to be marked as one. So he tells Chiron, "You could be gay, however you can't allow anyone to consider you a faggot." (Gilbey 50).

Homophobia is an issue that has been portrayed in the film. Kevin and Chiron both know about their fascination yet as teens, both couldn't communicate their sentiments. In a transient second, affected by pot on the sea shore, both the young men have a heartfelt experience. However Chiron luxuriates in the bliss of that second, Kevin stays undecided and far off. The two of them were terrified to communicate their affection for each other in school, as that would stand out and turn into a reason for social embarrassment. In this manner, when the irritated companions meet again as grown-ups, Chiron tells Kevin, "I assembled myself back up from the beginning to be hard" (McGarvey 36). Consequently, Chiron grows up to become Black, an image of the heterogeneous dark manliness. He oozes forceful maleness with his strong appearance and brilliant barbecues. He changes from being the frail, lean, frightened young adult, and youngster to an extreme man and "hard" (McGarvey 36). In any case, even as a grown-up, Chiron shrouds his sexuality under the protection of forceful dark maleness. The barbecues on his teeth, his amplified body, his chic vehicle, and the weapon he conveys are safeguards that he wears to conceal his actual self from the world. At the point when he reveals to Kevin that nobody had at any point contacted him as he did, it shows that Chiron had stayed quiet about his sexuality from the world for he had never opened up to any other individual. Obviously, Black couldn't be open with regards to his sexuality to society because of the shame joined to being gay.

Racial, social, and sexual generalizations set assumptions among the local area that has disguised the builds. In this way, the generalizations connected to the local area by the oppressors have turned into a piece of the abused society's character. Dark manliness is one such develop that the African American population had disguised from their aggressors. This develop is tested when a strange heavenly messenger is inundated in the social milieu of the dark Americans making a cacophony. All in all, it ought to be noticed that Moonlight presents every one of these above issues in an extremely unpretentious heartfelt story that portrays an individual of color's affection for another man.

I Love you Essay

Where do I even start? You are the best person ever. Whenever I’m with you, I forget about all the terrible things that are going on in my life. I can’t even explain how much you mean to me. I never thought we would even be friends but the more I get to know you the more I like you. You’re the most amazing person I have ever met, you know how to handle all my moods. We have the same sense of humor and I really don’t understand why you tolerate my rudeness but I’m glad that it doesn’t offend you. I guess I do it because I don’t want it to be too obvious that I have a massive crush on you. But you’re reaction to things are what makes me like you more, if that makes sense. Like the time when you were gonna give me your number so I could send you the Criminal song but I said “I saved it” and I thought you’re reaction would be something like “why did you save it…” But instead you gave me a big hug and I was surprised. And when I took my mom to the museum for the first time and we ran into you and Charles outside and when I said she was my mom you just gave her a big hug.

Even she knows how much you mean to me. That will be in my heart forever. You always make me feel special, I will never understand why you think I’m so awesome cause I’m really not. I’m weird and clumsy and a little crazy, but I love how we joke about killing. I think I started realizing my feelings for you in late June. I remember how you used to always give me Retail 1 bank because you said I was number one, and you were always concerned about keeping me waiting. Nobody else actually cares. And that time that I didn’t have any food and you paid for my &pizza, that was so unexpected and hopefully one day I can pay you back for everything you’ve done. I will never forget that time that you let Lani and I switch positions and stupid rudolph and Rochelle were acting like it was the worst thing in the world and I got super emotional. It was so embarrassing because I started crying like a baby but you comforted me until I composed myself again. And I remember you saying “they don’t know what they’re doing, it’s like letting kids run the attraction”. You really have seen my bad moments but you still stuck around and it means so much.

I was so happy when you came after the baby was born and you said “we’re not allowed to have favorites, but you’re my favorite” again it makes me feel so special. I love how I’m getting you into Ozuna, Comentale could actually be our song it describes us perfectly, I wish we could have gone to the concert together. We definitely have to go together if Ozuna comes next year, by that time I will already have taught you enough to understand his songs at least. I always tell myself that I will be nice to you in public when I see you but lately it’s so hard for me.

A Happy Memory of Mine

As I stepped out of my mother's favorite red camry, I ran to my grandmother’s front porch and rung the doorbell until she opened the door. My mother dropped me off every morning on her way to work. Entering the living room, as my grandma and my mother stayed at the door to discuss the plans for the day, I lay down on my grandmas big couch covered with pillows and I instantly fall asleep. My grandmother’s home was my happy place as a child and it is a memory that I hold dear to my heart today. My grandmother’s house is a memory that I think about daily and I learned that the simplest moments should not be taken for granted, and we have to appreciate the moments because we cannot go back to those moments, once they are gone.

Each morning I would wake up constantly to see if the sun was coming out, so I could play outside with my cousins, as the sun was my alarm design to tell me that it was playtime. I would wake up to the smell of steaming rice, beans, and plantains sizzling on the stovetop just about every morning. Even though it was the fifth time we had this dish in the same week, I would eat it and tell my grandmother that the food tasted better than the one from the day before. That would make my grandmother smile every time. I would sit next to my cousins and watch the spanish novelas (soap operas) playing in the background that my grandmother could watch all day if it wasn’t for her babysitting. She would serve us each a plate of breakfast and a glass of orange juice, and she would leave us watching television while she would clean the kitchen. I would try to watch my grandmas favorite shows, and it was always too confusing and dramatic for my young self to understand at the age of five.

Once I was done eating, I would start asking my grandmother to give me and my cousins permission to play outside, and before we could go play outside my grandmother would ask my cousins and myself to do the dishes and sweep around the house while she considered letting us go out and play outside, early in the morning. After my cousins and I convinced my grandmother to let us go play outside, I would open the white sliding door made of glass, and look at the huge playground at the end of the backyard. It was my favorite view, my grandmother's backyard was my personal playground. Stepping on branches and dry leaves, I walked straight into my grandma’s tree garden. She had many types flowers and rocks surrounding the trees, taking care of the flowers and trees was my grandmothers favorite hobby. The playground was just right for my cousins and myself, we played on the trampoline, swings, and our bicycles. On my way to the backyard and into the playground, I would call my cousins to come and join me and my cousins would come out running into to the swings and jump on the trampoline . The hours would go by, and my grandma would have to remind us to have come inside and have lunch, she would prepare our meals including sandwiches, juice boxes and our favorite snacks. My grandmother would let us set up a picnic outside next to her garden and eat lunch there. My cousins and I would discuss various topics like our future plans and how we would like to live in Disney World and play there forever. After we were done with our meals we would go back and play with dirt and climb the trees.

My uncles and aunts would get off from work and they would go to my grandmothers house as well and we would always have a dinner party at my grandmas. Every day my uncles and aunts would catch my cousins and I eating blackberries from the berry bush that my grandmother had and honeysuckles too. Constantly, my uncles and aunt would tell us we would get poisoned from the blackberries and honeysuckles, and we did not believe them and my cousins and I, continued eating them. Losing track of time, the sun leaving the day, and our bodies filled with mosquito bites and dirt, our parents would call us, to come inside and to clean up and get ready for dinner. My aunts would discuss how their day was at work, and what they wanted to plan for the upcoming weekend as they helped set up the table for dinner.. I would always joined the conversation and ask if we could go to all the theme parks nearby. I would try to convince them, and it would never work. Each night before we would begin dinner, my grandmother would have everyone get in a circle around the dining table and say a prayer. After finishing dinner and putting all the food away, my family always found it difficult to say goodbye even if we lived twenty minutes away from each other. As soon as we would leave my grandmas house, my mother would be on the phone talking with her siblings and spend hours talking to them and I would listen to their conversations and it is a memory, I recall often.

After spending time with my cousins, I was always excited for the next day and ready to play outside with them again. My grandmother took care of us through our childhood, until we started school and it was difficult for my cousins and I to not see each other daily, and play each day. My grandmother's house was the most exciting place for me as a child, much more than Disney World, which is a child's dream place to visit. The simplicity of my grandmother's backyard was such a comforting and intriguing place for me as a child. The numerous memories created in my grandmother's old home is always brought up at our family get togethers, and gives us an insight on how important those moments really were. After my grandmother said goodbye to that home and she retired and moved to her birth place, my family began to see less of each other, and that showed me how grounded that home was for us. Investing what I call simple time, can be taken for granted and leave a memory for a lifetime.

Macroeconomics Essay

1. Difference between microeconomics and macroeconomics

Microeconomics is the study of economics at an individual, group or company level. Macroeconomics, on the other hand, is the study of a national economy as a whole.

Microeconomics focuses on issues that affect individual and companies whereas Macroeconomics focuses on issues that affect the economy as a whole.

In Microeconomics aspects we think about some total ideas, yet the total in small scale financial aspects is unique in relation to large scale financial aspects. for instance, an industry is a gathering of firms whereas in Macroeconomics we contemplate the total identifying with the economy in general. for instance, National Income, Aggregate request, Aggregate supply, and so forth. In microeconomics time element is not important in determining the price whereas in Macroeconomics time element determines the price.

2. Three Problems and Market Systems of Economics Society

Each economy on the planet confront three primary essential financial matters issues in light of the fact that the necessities and needs of the general public are boundless however the assets accessible to fulfill those are restricted. Regardless of whether a nation is rich or poor this is typical to every one of them. The principle financial matters issue is:

What to Produce in which amounts?

In any general public there are boundless needs yet assets are constrained or assets are rare. What's more, these assets have elective employments. Because of every general public needs to choose what they are to create utilizing these rare assets. So every economy needs to settle on decision by speculation what sort of items or what amount is to be created. For instance, an economy needs to choose whether to deliver more administrations, for example, transport or doctor's facilities, or consumable merchandise like more garments and houses or more capital products, for example, streets, structures and so forth. The economy must choose which merchandise and enterprises to deliver and which products and ventures to prohibit from generation is the issue of decision between items

How to Produce?

The issue of 'how to deliver' implies which blend of assets is to be utilized for the generation of merchandise and which innovation is to be made utilization of underway. Once the general public has chosen what merchandise and enterprises are to be delivered and in what amounts, it should then choose how these products will be created. There are different elective techniques for delivering a decent and the economy needs to pick among them. For instance, material can be delivered either with programmed looms or with control looms or with handlooms. Fields can be watered (and consequently wheat can be delivered) by building little water system works like tube-wells and tanks or by building expansive waterways and dams. In this way, the economy needs to choose whether fabric is to be delivered by handlooms or power weaving machines programmed looms. So also, it needs to choose if the water system must be finished by minor water system works or by significant works. So Obviously, it is an issue of the decision of creation.

For whom to Produce?

Once an economy has delivered products and enterprises, it additionally needs to choose who will expend those merchandise. This will be chosen by various route by the idea of the economy.

In spite of the fact that the over three issue are normal to every economy, an economy can adopt diverse strategies to tackle these fundamental financial matters issues, and relying upon the approach economies are sorted out in various way. This is the reason we find distinctive economies, for example, advertise economy, halfway arranged economy and blended economy et cetera.

Market Systems of Economics Society

A market framework is any deliberate procedure empowering many market players to offer and ask: helping bidders and venders interface and make bargains. It isn't only the value component however the whole arrangement of direction, capability, certifications, notorieties and clearing that encompasses that system and influences it to work in a social setting.

Since a market framework depends on the supposition that players are continually included and unequally empowered, a market framework is recognized particularly from a voting framework where competitors look for the help of voters on a less consistent premise. Be that as it may, the collaborations amongst market and voting frameworks are a critical part of political economy, and some contend they are difficult to separate, e.g. frameworks like aggregate voting and spillover voting include a level of market-like bartering and exchange off, as opposed to straightforward explanations of decision.

A market economy is a monetary framework in which the choices with respect to speculation, generation, and dispersion are guided by the value signals made by the powers of free market activity. The significant normal for a market economy is the presence of factor showcases that assume a prevailing part in the distribution of capital and the elements of generation.

Market economies go from insignificantly managed 'free market' and free enterprise frameworks—where state movement is limited to giving open products and ventures and protecting private proprietorship—to interventionist shapes where the administration assumes a functioning part in revising market disappointments and advancing social welfare. State-coordinated economies are those where the state assumes a mandate part in controlling the general advancement of the market through mechanical arrangements or demonstrative arranging—which directs however does not substitute the market for financial arranging—a shape here and there alluded to as a blended economy.

Market economies are stood out from arranged economies where speculation and generation choices are exemplified in a coordinated all-inclusive financial arrangement by a solitary authoritative body that claims and works the economy's methods for creation.

3. Production Possibilities Boundary

The Production possibilities boundary exhibits the ideas of decision and opportunity cost. On the off chance that we accept that a nation can just deliver speculation and buyer merchandise, the outline underneath demonstrates a PPB that shows a menu of decisions for the economy of what it can make, for instance it could create:

  • investment goods
  • consumer goods
  • investment goods
  • consumer goods

Production Possibility Frontier (PPF) In the field of macroeconomics, the production probability boundary (PPB) speaks to the time when a nation's economy is most productively delivering its merchandise and ventures and, along these lines, assigning its assets in the most ideal way that could be available.

An economy might have the capacity to deliver for itself the majority of the products and ventures it needs to work utilizing the PPF as a guide, however this may really prompt a general wasteful distribution of assets and ruin future development – while thinking about the advantages of exchange. Through specialization, a nation can focus on the creation of only a couple of things that it can do best, as opposed to isolating up its assets among everything.

Give us a chance to consider a speculative world that has only two nations (Country An and Country B) and just two items (autos and cotton). Every nation can make autos or potentially cotton. Assume that Country A has next to no ripe land and a bounty of steel accessible for auto creation. Nation B, then again, has a wealth of fruitful land yet next to no steel. On the off chance that Country A were to endeavor to create the two autos and cotton, it would need to isolate up its assets, and since it requires a lot of push to deliver cotton by inundating its property, Country A would need to forfeit creating autos – which it is significantly more fit for doing. The open door cost of delivering the two autos and cotton is high for Country An, as it should surrender a ton of capital with a specific end goal to create both. Correspondingly, for Country B, the open door cost of creating the two items is high in light of the fact that the exertion required to deliver autos is far more prominent than that of creating cotton.

Every nation in our case can deliver one of these items all the more productively (at a lower cost) than the other. We can state that Country A has a similar favorable position over Country B in the generation of autos, and Country B has a near preferred standpoint over Country An in the creation of cotton.

Presently suppose that the two nations (An and B) choose to have practical experience in creating the products with which they have a relative preferred standpoint. On the off chance that they at that point exchange the merchandise that they deliver for different products in which they don't have a relative preferred standpoint, the two nations will have the capacity to appreciate the two items at a lower cost. Moreover, every nation will trade the best item it can make for another great or administration that is the best that the other nation can create so quality moves forward. Specialization and exchange additionally works when a few unique nations are included. For instance, if Country C represents considerable authority in the creation of corn, it can exchange its corn for autos from Country An and cotton from Country B.

Deciding how nations trade products delivered by a near preferred standpoint ('the best generally advantageous') is the foundation of worldwide exchange hypothesis. This technique for trade by means of exchange is viewed as an ideal designation of assets, whereby national economies, in principle, will never again be inadequate with regards to anything that they require. Like open door cost, specialization and near favorable position additionally apply to the manner by which people cooperate inside an economy.

4. Factors of Demand and Supply

The cost of substitutes and correlative merchandise. For instance, if wood costs are extremely high, furniture costs will rise, and abatement request. This is a case of an integral decent. Substitutes are products that can supplant each other like Crest and Colgate toothpaste. In the event that the cost of Colgate toothpaste is higher, individuals will probably change to Crest.

Salary

This one is generally easy to get it. The more cash individuals have, the more they are probably going to spend.

Desires

In the event that individuals expect the cost of a decent/support of reduction, at that point they will pause, diminishing interest for the time being. Incidentally, this causes the cost to diminish by diminishing interest, and individuals begin purchasing once more.

Socioeconomics

This is to a great extent about the place and the general population in the place. It's not quite the same as tastes since it is about the populace sythesis. For instance, if there are a great deal of elderly individuals in a region, the interest for merchandise and enterprises would be distinctive to a place brimming with fashionable people.

For non-value factors influencing supply, he acronym was FCENT. I rehash PRICE is the most critical factor influencing supply, however won't make the bend move. Non-value factors do that.

Components of Production

This is about the accessibility of sources of info, similar to a leased office, staff individuals and so forth. This can be consolidated into 4 noteworthy sections: Land, Labor, Capital and Enterprise.

Expenses of Production

Like the wood and furniture case for request, the higher costs of wood will build costs for makers. This will diminish supply since it costs more for these makers to keep the yield the same. Abatements in supply prompt cost increments.

Desires

This is diverse with respect to request, in that if the cost is relied upon to expand, makers will supply more, looking for more noteworthy benefits.

Number of Suppliers

This alludes to the quantity of individuals in the commercial center offering a similar item. Changes in the quantity of makers changes the supply in the market.

Innovation

Innovative enhancements, similar to the Assembly line in 1908, will enhance a maker’s capacity to supply a specific decent. This will make supply increment, and the cost unavoidably fall.

5. Effects of changes in Demand & Supply using laws of Demand & Supply

The law of free market activity is a financial hypothesis that clarifies how free market activity are identified with each other and how that relationship influences the cost of merchandise and enterprises. It's an essential financial rule that when supply surpasses interest for a decent or administration, costs fall. At the point when request surpasses supply, costs tend to rise.

There is a converse connection between the supply and costs of merchandise and enterprises when request is unaltered. On the off chance that there is an expansion in supply for merchandise and ventures while request continues as before, costs tend to tumble to a lower balance cost and a higher harmony amount of products and enterprises. On the off chance that there is a decline in supply of merchandise and enterprises while request continues as before, costs tend to ascend to a higher harmony cost and a lower amount of products and ventures.

A similar backwards relationship holds for the request of merchandise and ventures. Nonetheless, when request increments and supply continues as before, the higher request prompts a higher balance cost and the other way around.

Free market activity rises and fall until the point that a balance cost is come to. For instance, assume an extravagance auto organization sets the cost of its new auto demonstrate at $200,000. While the underlying interest might be high, because of the organization advertising and making buzz for the auto, most shoppers are not willing to burn through $200,000 for an auto. Accordingly, the offers of the new model rapidly fall, making an oversupply and driving down interest for the auto. Accordingly, the organization lessens the cost of the auto to $150,000 to adjust the supply and the interest for the auto to eventually achieve a harmony cost.

Philosophy in Teaching

I’ve had great teachers throughout my course of study that definitely ignited my hunger for knowledge and may have possibly imparted some desire to teach, but it is my belief that being a parent has shaped and cultivated my teaching philosophy.  A child’s first teacher is his parent(s). Even during the stages in the womb, an embryo begins to learn sounds and language from the mother. My teaching philosophy mirrors my basic responsibility as a parent; which is to nurture. Nurturing my students includes protecting and valuing them as individuals and providing them with the support needed to be successful in my class. With the state of our world, vast cultural diversity and the evolution of each generation, I cannot simply walk into a classroom and just disseminate information. The diversity and dynamic of today’s students require care and compassion before the learning process can begin for a great number of them.  As a teacher I believe nurturing a student’s belief in themselves will invoke trust and respect to insure a supportive environment necessary for learning and teaching to take place.  My belief is strongly influenced by my commitment to helping my students develop self-efficacy, as detailed in Albert Bandura’s social cognitive theory.

Throughout our lives, we all face challenges. Students today experience a great deal of those challenges while trying to maneuver personal situations, school and gain an education. A key element of my teaching style has to include encouragement.  My belief is strongly influenced by my commitment to helping my students develop self-efficacy, as detailed in Albert Bandura’s social cognitive theory. It is very important to me that I help each student develop a belief in themselves and their abilities.  At every level of academic classification, each student has to believe in themselves in order to want to learn and achieve success.  According to Bandura, self-efficacy can be acquired through four sources: mastery experiences, vicarious experiences, social persuasion, and physiological and emotional arousal. The key to mastery is approaching life with dedicated efforts and experimenting with realistic but challenging goals (Buchanan, 2016). I will facilitate mastery experiences for my students through instructional strategies focused on providing them with opportunities for performance success. In order to do so, I will help my students set goals and devise plans to reach those goals, encourage challenging goals that are attainable, provide honest and timely feedback, and teach them how to use metacognitive study strategies.  As students experience success related to their efforts, they will experience a sense of mastery that will boost their self-efficacy.

Although mastery experiences have been shown to produce the most powerful influence on efficacy beliefs, individuals can also learn by vicariously observing the successes and failures of respected, competent models who share similarities. Students are likely to emulate competent models who demonstrate competence within their area of expertise and engage in behaviors that successfully deal with their environment (Gonzalez-DeHass & Willems, 2012). To express competence, I will be prepared for class and knowledgeable in the content.  It will be my task to be an effective role model for my students.  I will do so by modeling enthusiasm for learning, respect for others, a concerted work ethic, effective communication, and honesty. It is also imperative for my students to see their peers succeed, which will facilitate belief in their own ability to succeed.  Teaching science is the optimal environment for modeling. My lessons will be geared toward showing my students how to read, write and think as scientists.  Cooperative learning groups of mixed abilities will be used to employ peer scaffolding as a means of peer modeling. I will also utilize adults of the biological field to serve as models periodically throughout the school year.

In terms of social persuasion and physiological and emotional arousal, I will use reinforcement, verbal encouragement and honest feedback to promote self-regulation and positivity within my classroom. Ultimately, I consider myself successful as a teacher when my students are confidently able to exhibit critical thinking and problem-solving skills like a scientist. In science, students need to know more than facts. They will need to learn to apply those facts, to hypothesize, analyze and test theories, interpret data, and formulate conclusions. Direct, explicit and varied instruction will be used to engage every student with various learning styles. This will include lectures, organized notes, visual aids, computer activities, projects, current and relevant event sources, and hands on lab experiences. I will also use multiple methods of assessment to help me gauge my students’ performance and gather information to help guide my instruction.

I take an interest in every student as if they are my own and I treat them as I want my children to be treated by their teachers.  I aspire to invoke and encourage my students to take an active role and interest in their education, through self-efficacy. It’s my desire that each student perceives my support for them and build their faith in their educational abilities.  As they go along on their educational journey, I always want my students to know that I am invested in their success as students and in life.
