Peter and Petrine Contribution to Russia
Introduction
Peter and Petrine culture represent a radical break with Russia's past because Peter the great inherited an administration that had a lot of serious challenges. Nonetheless, Peter and Petrine being performers, planned to address some issues that faced the Russians. Peter succeeded in most areas but also at the other end failed to achieve some problems. Like, most leaders, Peter faced opposition from other leaders. Rejection from opposition never stopped Peter from accomplishing his goal. Instead, it motivated him to work even harder. Peter aimed at modernizing and transforming Russia for the better. The transformation was based on bringing basics of European culture in Russia (Werb, 25).
Peter's and Petrine's contributions to Russia's history
Peter's rule was defined by battles with Sweden and the Ottoman. Afterward, the consecutive defeat from enemies, which were reminiscent of military losses brought about by his reign. This caused Peter to form a navy and transform the military, which could be a great step in winning the battle. These reforms included the following, establishment of the center of higher learning that replaced prikazy and created a Senate to manage government policies. Peter started a newspaper that was used to keep the public updated on matters concerning administration activities (Vladiv-Glover, 2). For instance, mapping all Russia and its resources to ensure control and extraction. Women attained some freedom under Petrine reign. Introduction of foreign influences to Russians for example, shaving of beards and initiation of new fashion (Rollberg, 335). Development of country's offensive and defensive capabilities by creating another navy and improving the existing army. Trade was developed due to the expansion of Russian territory. Peter ensured education was improved and Russians could get access to it. Peter also promoted the Russian culture by ensuring he changed the traditional ways of doing things. These reforms were achieved through several initiatives: modest systems for military, Russians marine armies and modernized the military to fit the western culture (Rollberg, 335). Petrine also ensured the administration was streamlined and mobilized Russia's economy and social resource.
Peter knew that the economy of Russia was in need of reform and this prompted him to travel to different developed countries in a bid to get better ways to develop his home country (Vladiv-Glover, 2). During those trips, Peter was able to learn so much. Peter was able to learn how to improve the economy, and this could help the Russians. Peter knew that if the country economy was stable, the Russians could not travel to other counties in search of job opportunities in countries where the economy was strengthened. Due to this reason, Peter thought to apply the western mercantilism to stimulate agriculture, industries, and commerce. During that time most industries were dominated by the state. Those enterprises were the source of capital, raw material, labor and also the purchaser of the final product (Zitser, 101). This was not enough to support the people of Russians so peter established factories that were producing a wealth of materials and products. Through the development of industries, Peter opened job opportunities. Hence Russians had no reason traveling to other countries, therefore, disagreeing with Klyuchevsky that peter ambitions represented a radical change to Russia.
Education was so essential to Peter that he could go against any odd. Education was only meant for the upper-class people, but Peter made it accessible to all people regardless of the class level. The general public found it so difficult to express themselves, and they were often left disappointed since they could not afford to get an education to improve their lives and thus continued to suffer in silence. The Russians only expressed themselves through painting. Peter wanted a modern army and navy that could be able to fit the evolving world. Peter travels had made him see the importance of education. For example, the knowledge of engineering that the naval officers needed to navigate. Petrine ensured that education reforms were continued during his reign (Rollberg, 335). Petrine had seen the importance of education introduced by Peter. For instance, Lomonosov was one among many people who were able to prosper under peter reforms.
Additionally, Peter's love for learning started since as a young boy, and his curiosity made him attain new knowledge and even started some schools, for instance, school of medicine, school of science and school of engineering .peter the great sponsored schools on secular lines where children, soldiers, and officers were admitted. Peter even permitted Russians to go abroad in search education. Due to lack of scientist in Russia, the schools had to be operated by foreigners (Werb, 25). This was one of the main reasons why Peter wanted Russians to be trained since developing foreigners was not his dream, but instead, he believed on Russians. Many young good men were advised to learn and experience the feeling of western culture. Peter encouraged Russians youth to learn the new technologies and economic theories so that they can be able to compete with the changing world. Broadening of knowledge was not a threat to peter, but instead, it was observed as a great benefit to Russia's development (Zitser, 101). During the reign of Petrine, the members of administration exerted pressure on the government and private entrepreneurs to continue the policies of skills training that was beneficial to the Russians.
Similarly, when Peter inherited the throne, the Russia was under-developed compared to successful countries. This was due to Russian nature of opposing modernization. Peter carried the reform that affected industry, economy, and administration. The reformation was aimed at bridging the gap between the western countries and Russia (Rollberg, 335). The church was at the heart of peter reforms. Russian was believed to be pagans due to their traditional ways. The high level of illiteracy in Russia made it even delicate in handling agriculture activities like handling machines used for farming. Petrine ensured that he introduced other farming methods and Russians were educated and could be able to operate the machinery (Vladiv-Glover, 2). This could help the Russians to increase their produce hence solving the issue of drought that was a big problem. Churches were a very wealthy institution that owned huge amounts swathes of land enough to rival the authority of the Russia's. The churches were managed by Prikaz who paid monks salaries and received all monastic revenues (Werb, 25). That revenue helped the Russia's in developing the growth of industries and economy.so peter thought controlling churches could help in getting revenues to at least boost their economy.
Peter challenged Russian values with his reform, the traditionalist in specific and fashion which was opposed by orthodox. They believed that reform were threats to their religious beliefs and practices. Some of these practices included the shaving of beards by men. (Zitser, 101) These reforms applied uniformly across the Russians but the upper classes people were affected most. In this case, the upper-class people were looked upon by lower class for example in fashion. Peter believed that if the upper-class adopt the new fashion, it will create a great impact on the lower class people. Peter intention was to abolish the Russians tradition way of living that was outdated and could not fit in the evolving world ( Rollberg,335). The young generation embraced new fashion very well. This helped them in facing other people from different countries who don't understand Russians traditions. The societal reforms which were considered offensive were planned to reform fashion and interaction of people among the genders in open places. Before Peter, boys and girls were prohibited from interacting except with an elderly intervention.
This reform helped the Russians widely since it created a breakthrough for even foreigners to travel to Russia to invest and felt the Russians had developed both economically and socially. Peter was so much concerned on how foreigners viewed the Russians (Werb, 25).peter adored the Russians women hence introducing laws and legislation that protected the women. In these laws women had a right to dissolve the forced marriage as it was not the case before Peter reform. For instance, peter marriage to Evdokiia was not according to peters choice, but his family arranged it against his desires. Petrine ensured that men who abused women's dowry were taken to court and charged. Peter rejuvenated Russian values and painting which created interest in education where St. Petersburg was the main artistic center.
Peter introduced the system Table of Ranks that replaced the boyars. The highest position in Russian was hereditary. Table of Ranks being introduced, allowed everyone to work their way up to administrative hierarchy with sufficient hard work and skills. Regardless when peter reforms were not introduced, where commoner people were not allowed to work in the bureaucratic pyramid (Werb, 25). This has been a big success to Russians. Peter introduction of governing state that replaced boyar council. The Senate coordinated various government organs and also supervised the collection and expenditure of revenue. According to the research, this became the best institution, especially in law administration (Vladiv-Glover, 2). Peter organized the army according to western standards. Before Peter, the soldiers relied on the militia of the streltsy and the Russian corps. Streltsy was involved in several rebellions against peter since the group was abolished. Peter was very fair in selecting the officers from nobility, he also enlisted peasant and townspeople into the other ranks hence ensuring fairness at all levers (Vladiv-Glover, 2).
Weapons were invented according to the latest standards and officers were required to make their men proficient in combat from the skill they got from schools introduced by Peter. Modernizing the army made Russia a naval power and it's was able to strengthen its position. Petrine main reasons for reforms was to win the war (Rollberg, 335). Peter helped to form a grand alliance that comprised of Russians, Denmark, and Saxony against the Swedish Empire leading to the big Northern war the war lasted for twenty-one years. After a successful northern war, the Russia become a dominant power in Europe.
Through diplomacy and skillful statesmanship, Peter was able to expand the Russia territory and make it a major European power. Russia was able to extend their boundaries since it gained access to eastern shores of the Baltic after the war. This was Peter greatest success, and this led to the growth of the economy of Russia. This was all acquired through peters travel abroad and his curiosity to European culture (Werb, 25).peter also gave Russians a right to elect municipalities of their choice since he released that the townspeople had no power to select leaders. Russians believed leaders were elected from upper classes assumption that Peter changed. This reform was furthered by the establishment of the Head of Magistrate that controlled the distribution of finances and tax collection.
Conclusion
Peter and Petrine culture represent a radical break with Russia's past because Peter and Petrine inspirations were often connected to war and the consolidation of their autocratic rule. Peter used important measures in implementing some of his reforms. Nevertheless, peter changes on education still had a larger implication (Zitser, 101). Peter wanted to modify ingrained behaviors, as well as to run Russia more competently to make Russia modern and part of western countries. The action of building and promoting learning in Russia could create a lot of impact on Russians in term of their economy. Peter and Petrine actions within their country were innovative and significant and ensured fairness at all times. Education was introduced to Russians to improve growth and economy. The growth was felt in many areas like in society and soldiers, where the Russians were to express themselves and handle farming machinery and other technologies (Werb, 25).
Therefore Peter and Petrine made positive reforms to Russia since they believed in making their country the best. Nevertheless, their transformations were achieved although they were followed by many challenges, for example, resistance from orthodox who believed they wanted to challenge their religious belief. They also faced mockery and civil disobedience more so from men as they were forced to shave their beard. Their reforms helped Russia in expanding their territory, improve economy and culture (Zitser, 101). Russian culture was too traditional and outdated hence peter reforms modernized it to fit in the western countries. This was enough evidence that Peter and Petrine reforms were beneficial to the Russians.

Educated Mind
Education has been reported to be a significance item in each politician's agenda. Despite this, the notion of the meaning of the phrase 'educated mind'has never seemed to come about. The society has also been reported not to make over the idea of being educated despite having undergone a massive conversion. People have been reported to think that an educated mind is that of having know-how on the poetry and literature, having an understanding of more than one dialect and also who can appreciate social issues in addition to history (Edge.Org). Furthermore, people also think that an educated brain is the one that can deal better with economic matters, understands principles of science as well as elementary mathematics. This has been said to be a common understanding within the twenty-first century which has been reported to be an old system mind. This has been an interpretation of the past generation that existed in the nineteenth century.
An educated person is a person who can adapt to whatever might be thrown to them by life. Education is more than being prepared for a workforce. This means that people should not go to school for them to be trained to be good workers for them to be considered as educated individuals. However, this does not demean work since earning a living is much essential and to have a good economy. It has been reported in America that the reasons why children are taken to school for education are to prepare them to be complete contributors in the self-governing republic (HuffPost). It has been believed that education should be gratifying by making individuals more life appreciating through the provision of power to do things like composition of music, reading for own desire. Education should also help individuals to understand the world surrounding them in a better manner.
Education can be acquired both formally and informally. Formal education is obtained in class while informal learning is the education attained outside the class. Despite this, better education should enable us to develop habits of solving problems, being creative and have curious mind hence willing to know more about something. Educated people should have the ability to criticize and analyse situations in the daily life. People should have the ability to make things for personal fulfilment and more so for entertainment. Educated individuals should have the ability to love themselves and the environment surrounding them. This is because most of the people start cursing themselves when things turn contrary to their expectations (HuffPost). The ability to balance amongst personal needs and those belonging to groups and even the world at large is also an important aspect of the education. However, all this cannot be accomplished through undergoing a school program. It is for this reason that it is hence confirmed that schools, as well as teachers, are not the only possible for educating children. Everyone in the society is said to take part in the process of educating the children. This includes parents, community, institutions as well as teachers.
The best schools have an understanding that their role is not only to fill the student's mind with information and facts. Rather, they are aware that instilling certain habits in these children will enable them to cope with the varied diversity of situations. Some schools have been reported to do so by engaging students in research work and presentation of their work to others (Dunlosky et al., 5-8). A Certain time is taken to review as well as teach certain skills whenever necessary to ensure these students get it. Most of the time is taken by students in approaching things as they come in life where there is no breaking down of knowledge into subjects. Skills and general knowledge are used simultaneously to solve problems.
According to HuffPost, better schools are also said not to take teachers and students as objects for standardization. They do not expect students to graduate with the same thinking, a way of action as well as talking to anyone else in that class. Also, they do not expect that all teachers to conduct in the same manner. Schools in the modern world have been said to practice the ancient form of education forgetting that human beings are and will never fit in the same style as they are not widgets. Being able to adapt to whatever situation in life is thus essential and is claimed to be a result of a good education bringing an educated mind (Dunlosky et al., 5-8). Educated minds should not behave similarly. This is as it can be seen in monoculture system of farming. Due to similar genetics, anything that can destroy the crop is said to destroy the whole plantation and thus to lead to hunger. Monoculture of thinking is similarly and equally dangerous to monoculture in farming. Educated minds should have something extra that can help them survive in the current competitive world. Institutions of higher learning should take part in redefining the meaning of education to the society. They should also educate children in a way that equips them better to come with life challenges.
For children to acquire the good education and claimed to have an educated mind, parents and teachers should not only praise their strengths in class but also their efforts. They should be commended for actions of sharing, singing well, ability to follow instructions as well as assisting others. The words good work'should not only be said when they perform better in class. Other desirable behaviours should also be supported like teamwork forgiving others and many more (Britishcouncil.Org). A good learning environment is the one that exposes the learner to practice. An example, outside a cafeteria for discussion purposes would be vital as it exposes a learner to other forms learning, other than the class work learning.
In conclusion, an educated mind is the one that is said to be able to adapt and cope with challenges in life. The idea of the nineteenth century that claimed that educated people are those who have a better knowledge of scientific principles, as well as basic mathematics, should be abolished. Educated people should be able to solve problems in life, able to analyse and criticize situations as they come as well as making things entertaining and desirable. Education should not only be a process of training good employees as more is required in life. Good coping strategies should be implanted to the learners. Monoculture has been stated to be dangerous in farming as when the crop is attacked the whole plantation if affected. This leads to famine and education has been said to be no different from the plant. Extra skills and coping strategies are essential. Parents, teachers, and community have been seen to have a role in educating children. This, therefore, confirms that both formal and informal setups of education are essential.

Pros and Cons of Legalization of Medical Marijuana
Marijuana is just like any other prohibited drug like any other which can be used for recreation purpose. It comes from a tree called Cannabis sativa. There has been a research done on the impacts of marijuana some have been argued to be pros for supporting the point of them being used as medication. Majorly, the below discussion shows the pros and cons of the legislation of medical marijuana in San Luis Obispo County California.
The pros
Marijuana has a high efficiency of reduction of some physical pains, stresses, and distress. The human being has tendency of undergoing such kind of complications just due to either response of nature or due to health complications. Due to this characteristic of marijuana having the ability to combat and remedy as well as treatment of the above it can serve as a good medication for the purpose. It greatly saves the expense of treatment as well as the cost. Such kind of diseases could demand the nicotine substances and some painkillers doses, the use of marijuana brings the cure and it is recommended for such case.
Scientifically it has been proven that the use of marijuana solves some clan complications and once taken it restores the normal state of living. This improves the health of the children and remedy for the situation. Scientifically it has been proven by administering the cannabidiol substances to some children and there was 84% positive change this gave a clear indication of the marijuana for the medication.
In San Luis Obispo County California it has been illegal for the use of marijuana but the other drugs have been allowed to take. Marijuana has been used for some many cases been used in dispensaries and clinics, once used measurably it brings no side effects and can be a good medication than any other drugs- which in turn brings some side effects. It has been recorded that some reported case of death out of overuse of other drugs like cocaine and heroin but for the marijuana no reported case for the side effect. This places the marijuana at the high knot of its medicinal purpose (Claude 20).
Marijuana take leads to one's dependency on himself or herself. Psychologically one can improve his or her own dependency. In the county, some people take marijuana to a point of no addictiveness and hence it's controllable and one can withdraw from its usage upon satisfaction or treatment.
It is, however, compromising when one talks about marijuana being a medication to any health problem. Supporting the idea that marijuana can be used as medicine can be quite hard and unsupported. Discussed below are the cons of the statement.
The Cons
The side effects of marijuana in San Luis Obispo County California are very evident, argued biologically, scientifically and socially. It is firstly unethical to use marijuana in the society besides of how much it can be argued to be medicinal it cannot cover its antisocial response.

Conclusion
In conclusion, in as much as we can say marijuana can be used for medicinal purpose, healing and combating some diseases affection and effects there are good and recommended ways for treatment. Always not the best and even its not recommended as per at my choice. Medication is always to bring value and health to the treated body, marijuana cannot bring any wholeness to the body neither does it bring back to life. Above all marijuana is an illegal drug in San Luis Obispo County California.

Grand Theft Auto V
Grand Theft Auto V is a video game produced in the year 2013 September for the Microsoft Windows, Xbox 360 and Play Station 4. The video game was set in the fictional south Californian state. The storyline of the video revolves around the three terrible criminals. The three criminals are under the siege and pressure by the military forces from the government agencies. The video scenes in the game shift between fictional San Andrea and the abstract Los Santos city. The game is played from either the third party or the first party perspective. To play the game, you have controlled the central characters throughout the game, and you have to switch the characters depending on the mission to be accomplished. The story is based on the armed robbery, and most of the missions revolve around the shooting missions and the game drive. The government agencies respond to combat and kill the heists. I like the game because of the quality of the graphics used in the game. The color of the pictures of the scenes of high quality, hence impressing to watch and play, (Carlson et al 49-51). The second reason is that nature and plot do the scene from which the video game was set. The fantastic city fictional San Andrea and the ideal Los Santos city setting is so much impressing. I also developed an interest in the sound effects used in the video.
The first reason for playing the video is the way the visual graphics of the Grand Theft Auto are designed. The video incorporates numerous switches of the graphics and colors. The quality of the graphics is so much amazing to watch and stimulates the morale and the desire to play the game. The amazing presentation of the graphic is the presents the between fictional San Andrea and the abstract Los Santos city to life. Through the altering and switch of the graphics, scenes, and missions in the video game are presented and abstractly brought to life. The quality of the resolution of the pictures and the video is high, and the game and there is an adjustable tessellation of the of the color graphics. The quality of the video interface, therefore, helps bring the vivid and thrilling details and the features of the San Andreas to the country side to life. Relating the video game to the book and work covered from the course, the quality of the video graphics are much essential for presenting any given visual art, (Carlson et al 49-51). The video quality helps to present the setting, the scenes and the plot of the visual art in quality and eye-catching style to impress the audience. The audience will develop a preference for a visual art that has an impressive presentation of the pictures and vide rather than a blurred images or videos.
The second reason why I liked the game is the plot setting and the nature of environment from which the Grand Theft Auto V video game was set. The video game was amazingly developed in stunningly beautiful and amazing landscaped countryside Of the Los Andreas. The combination of the landscape and the wildlife at the country site bring the scenes vividly live to the audience and the players. The plot setting at the fictional San Andrea countryside and the fictional Los Santos city are immersive beautiful to view and play the video game, (Murray et al 91-98). The characteristics of the video game encompass various technical and visual features that make the plot setting that shifts from the Los Santos city and the San Andreas countryside incredibly beautiful, hence fascinating the visual arts of the game. From the book, the plot setting is so much essential when developing any visual art, it should and chosen in such a manner that it attracts the audience to gain and generate more interest in the visual art.
The third reason for liking Grand Theft Auto V is because of the audio sound effects. Sound effects are essential when developing a visual art. Quality visual work should always be accompanied by the quality sound effects. It will be much dull to watch a video or play a video game with poor quality sound effects. In the video game Grand Theft Auto V, the sounds from the guns and the shouts from the heists and the governments' agencies are so much amazing and exciting. A combination f various sound features help enhance the sound of the video game. Personally, I cannot develop an interest in a video game with no clear and quality sound, (Salter et al 359-388).

Sustainability and Animal Farming: a Cost-Benefit Analysis
Introduction
Animal farming has contributed majorly to the global changes in the climate. It is said that animal agriculture has contributed to 18% of gas emissions which causes greenhouse effect like nitrous oxide and carbon dioxide. The combination of the livestock and their byproducts leads to the production of the 51 % of the global greenhouse emission. This type of agriculture is more dangerous when it comes to climate change. This calls for the mitigating measures to be taken to decrease the effect of animal farming on the climatic change. In order to know the best method of mitigating the risk of animal agriculture on the climate a cost-benefit analysis is undertaken (McMichael, 2007). This paper will discuss a cost benefit analysis of the two choices for mitigating the risk of animal agriculture. It will also come up with the best way to mitigate such risks and how one can reduce costs associated with the selected option.
Animal agriculture leads to changes in the climate in the following ways; first, animal farming causes deforestation. The forests in the United States are cleared for grazing animals and for the purpose of animal feeds growing. This leads to desertification due to exposing of the land and lack of enough animal as forests attract rains. This contributes to climate change. Again, animal farming leads to the consumption of more water for drinking and for planting animal feeds which can be used to feed pigs, chicken, and cows. The more consumption of water leads to drying of the water sources which causes climate change with time. Animal agriculture leads to occupying of the more spaces where they lead to desertification of the land (Gonzalez, 2011).The degradation of the land makes it difficult for plants to grow leading to accumulation of the greenhouse gases which causes climate change.
As a result of the risk of the animal agriculture, the two divergent options for mitigating the risk of animal farming have been applied in the world. These options include; developing alternatives to sources of food like plant-based diet and making animal agriculture more efficient that is, making it more intensive or extensive (McMichael, 2007).
Efficiency livestock farming
Efficient livestock farming is a process of adding value to the livestock where the inputs used in the farming will be less as compared to the costs. It involves making sure the inputs or the process of keeping animals will have more, benefits than to the costs which will be incurred. It involves using the method of livestock keeping which works best for the earth climate, community and individuals. This method involves using the techniques of the farming that reduces the economic and the environmental costs and improves the gains which are associated with quality and quantity food production. First, the animals can be fed with less human food. The amount of the human food given to animals can be reduced or avoided. This will enhance the grains to be consumed by the people and less land will be cleared for, growing animal food. Animals will alternatively be grazed at the marginalized areas like around the mountainsides and in the low lying wet grasslands. This will lead to reserving of the more fields for the purpose of growing human food crops hence reducing the deforestation hence climate changes (Niggli, 2009). Animals should also be fed from the waste products of the food grains which helps to prevent wastage as they can feed on the fiber of the crops. This will help to reduce the pollution associated with such waste products.
Again, the farmers should keep or raise regionally appropriate animals depending on their locality. This will cost the farmers less as compared to keeping exotic breeds which do not withstand the climate of some areas. Where the farmer is forced to incur more expenses to cut the fodder and give the animals in the stall. Keeping of regionally based breeds will avoid extra expenses as animals will be grazed in pasture areas. This will reduce the deforestation since there is no need of clearing the forests to plant-animal feeds (McMichael, 2007). In long term it will contribute to a reduction of the greenhouse emissions since the presence of the forest will increase rainfall and reduce carbon dioxide in the air.
Farmers should adopt proper supplements to the animals'feeds. Some supplements enhance the animal to consume energy and nitrogen in a more efficient manner. This leads to animal generating a lot of milk and meat and low waste products like gases that cause greenhouse effect and ammonia. The production of the less nitrogenous product will lead to less accumulation of the greenhouse gases in the atmosphere where it leads to a reduction of the climate change. This method of farming is more economical and leads to increased animal health and is also friendly to the environment (Niggli, 2009). Example of such animal supplement is the clover.
Efficient farming methods lead to good health among the animals and people. In this method of farming livestock animals are kept health producing health food products which cannot lead to poor health among the individual consumers. The keeping of the healthy animals will lead to the more yields which will be economical on the side of the farmers (McMichael, 2007).The costs will be reduced by keeping animals healthy and on the other hand benefits will be increased.
In the efficient farming method, the cost and benefit analysis should be undertaken. The cost of having an intensive farming method is associated with the production of the human-induced production of the greenhouse gases which affects the climate change. Despite such negative impacts, the intensive livestock farming has more benefits; a sustained and well-managed livestock farming will lead to increase in the biodiversity. This will involve an increase in the plant and animals in the environment. The animal will produce manure which enhances the growth of the plants, less land will be cleared as an animal will feed on pastures and no growth of the animal feeds. The farming will lead to maintenance of the ecosystem and improve the carbon dioxide capture by plants and soils. The animals will be a source of the manure which will be used in farming instead of the using chemical fertilizers which produce greenhouse gases. Farm animal's offers hides and skins, mohair, traction and the gas energy which is energy from the dung (Niggli, 2009).Then the efficient livestock farming methods are important since they are friendly economically and to the environment and health of the people.
Plant-based diet.
This is the diet which involves the consumption of the food from the plants without animal products. This type of diet is used as an option to mitigate the risk associated with the consumption of the animal products. Emphasizing the use of the plant-based diet will mean that animal farming will not be undertaken in the society as there is no need for their product. The use of the plant-based diet has a lot of benefits to individuals. Most of the diseases like diabetes and heart attack, stroke, colon cancer and cardiovascular diseases are associated with consumption of the animal product (Gonzalez, 2011). Therefore using plant-based diet will reduce the risk of suffering from food-related diseases.
Again, apart from plant-based diet being beneficial to health, they are also environmentally friendly as they don't lead to increase of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere which causes the climate change. A plant-based diet is efficient in the production of the proteins as they don't need to be converted as it is in the animal protein which has to involve alt of conversions. Therefore the use of the plant-based diet is important and best in the reduction of the impact of the climatic change and environment since plant-based foods are involved in the consumption of the less land. The land used in growing of crops for human consumption is less as compared to land used for growing animal feeds and being occupied by the animals. This leads low deforestation hence plants will be available reducing greenhouse impact. Less water used in the production of human food as compared to water consumed in the animal foods hence preserving water sources. Less energy, pesticides, and fertilizer are used in the production of food consumption as compared to animal product production. This means plant-based diet is healthier, economically and environmentally beneficial (Niggli, 2009).The benefits of the plant-based diet as a way of mitigating risks associated with animal farming are more when compared to benefits of using the efficient farming methods.
In a comparison of plant-based diet and efficient livestock farming method of mitigating risk associated with animal farming, it has found that; efficient farming method does not prevent food-related diseases like heart attack, colon cancer, and diabetes while the plant-based diet is involved in controlling and reducing such diseases. The production of the plant food product requires less land, less water, fewer pesticides, and fewer fertilizers as compared to the efficient production of the animal products. This means plant-based diet option is economical (Niggli, 2009). Lastly efficient animal production methods leads to the production of the greenhouse gases which is detrimental to the environment whereas production of plant-based diet does not produce gases to the atmosphere and therefore it is environmentally friendly meaning it cannot lead to climate change.
In my opinion, I favor plant-based diet option for mitigating the risk associated with the animal agriculture. This is because of the following reasons; first, it is friendly to human health since consumption of plant product will prevent some diseases like diabetes, heart diseases, and cancer. Secondly, production of the food product makes use of greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide and nitrogen gas hence preventing greenhouse effect which leads to climate change. In addition, plant food production leads to use of the less land, less water, fewer pesticides and fertilizers making it have less impact on the environment (McMichael, 2007).This can be witnessed in the production of the legumes like Beans and Peas where they require limited fertilizer for the nitrogen cycle to fix carbon dioxide into the soil.
The cost associated with the plant-based diet option can be reduced. Farmers should reduce the use of the artificial or chemical fertilizers which are expensive and leads to the creation of the greenhouse gases. Instead, the farmers should use the organic manure like composite manure which is cheap and has no negative an impact on the environment. The farmers should plant regionally based products which can do best in their environment without using more chemicals which are costly and they contribute to a greenhouse effect (Gonzalez, 2011). This will make this option to more economical and protect the environment hence preventing climatic change. Natural methods of controlling pest should be used to avoid the use of the pesticides which affect the environment and are costly.
The recommendation on the use of the plant-based diet as the best option of mitigating risks associated with the livestock farming should be communicated to the scientists, elected officials and the general public using an appropriate method like journals and media. The communication will inform the general public on the importance of using plant-based diet which has no negative impact on the environment as it uses less land, water, fertilizers and energy as compared to efficient livestock farming method. It will also lead to controlling diseases like heart diseases and diabetes (Gonzalez, 2011). Lastly, it will be economical as it will use fewer resources. Therefore, people should use a plant-based diet to mitigate the risk associated with the livestock farming. This will be for the purpose of preventing climate change in the society.

ICT Evolution and Cybersecurity: Understanding Threats and the State’s Role
The data and correspondences innovation (ICT) industry has advanced incredibly well within the last 50 years. The innovation is universal and progressively fundamental to practically every aspect of current society. ICT gadgets and segments are for the most part reliant, and disturbance and one may influence numerous devices. In the course of recent years, specialists and policymakers have communicated expanding worries about shielding ICT frameworks from cyberattacks, which numerous specialists hope to increment in recurrence and seriousness throughout. The demonstration of ensuring ICT frameworks and their substance has come to be known as cybersecurity. A wide and ostensibly fairly fluffy idea, cybersecurity can be a valuable term however a tendency to resist exact definition has. It is additionally the improperly conflated with different ideas, for example, protection, data sharing, knowledge social occasion, and observation. Notwithstanding, cybersecurity can be an imperative instrument in ensuring security and counteracting unapproved observation, and data sharing and knowledge in social occasion which can be valuable apparatuses for affecting cybersecurity. Guaranteeing cyber security is an unpredictable errand that depends on area information and requires intellectual capacities to decide conceivable dangers from a lot of system information. This examination explores how learning in organize operations and data security impact the identification of interruptions in a basic system and cybersecurity.
To manage the present condition, consultative associations are advancing a more proactive and versatile approach. The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), for instance, as of late issued refreshed rules in its hazard evaluation structure that suggested a move toward nonstop checking and constant appraisals. As indicated by Forbes, the worldwide cybersecurity showcase came to $75 billion for 2015 and is relied upon to hit $170 billion out of 2020.
The administration of hazard to data frameworks is viewed as a major to compelling cybersecurity. The dangers related with any assault rely upon three components: dangers (who is assaulting), vulnerabilities (the shortcomings they are assaulting), and impacts (what the assault does). Most cyberattacks have constrained effects, yet a fruitful assault on a few segments of basic foundation (CI). The greater part of which is held by the private area”could adversely affect national security, the economy, and the job and wellbeing of individual subjects. Decreasing such dangers typically includes evacuating risk sources, tending to vulnerabilities, and diminishing effects. The government interaction with cybersecurity includes both securing elected frameworks and helping with ensuring nonfederal frameworks. Under current law, every single government organization has cybersecurity obligations identifying with their own particular frameworks, and many have division particular duties regarding CI. By large, government offices spend over 10% of their yearly ICT spending plans on cybersecurity. More than 50 statutes address different parts of cybersecurity. Five bills authorized in the 113th Congress and another in the 114th address the security of government ICT and U.S. CI reflects on the government cybersecurity workforce, cybersecurity innovative work, data partaking in both people in general and private segments, and universal parts of cybersecurity. Different bills considered by Congress have tended to cause a scope of extra issues, including information rupture counteractive action and reaction, cybercrime and law implementation, and the Internet of Things, among others. Among moves made by the Obama Administration amid the 114th Congress are advancement and development of nonfederal data sharing and investigation associations; declaration of an activity intend to enhance cybersecurity across the country; proposed increments in cybersecurity financing for elected organizations of over 30%, including foundation of a rotating store for modernizing elected ICT . The order laying out how the government will react to both government and private-division cybersecurity episodes was also laid. Those current authoritative and official branch activities are to a great extent intended to address a few settled needs in cybersecurity. In any case, those requirements exist with regards to troublesome long haul challenges identifying with outline, motivating forces, agreement, and condition. Enactment and official activities in the 114th and future Congresses could impact sly affect those difficulties
The data innovation (IT) industry has developed significantly within the last 50 years. Preceded with, exponential advance in preparing force and memory limit has made IT equipment speedier as well as littler, lighter, less expensive, and simpler to utilize. The first IT industry has additionally progressively merged with the correspondences business into a consolidated area regularly called data and interchanges innovation (ICT). This innovation is pervasive and progressively vital to practically every feature of current society. ICT gadgets and parts are by and large associated, and disturbance of one may influence numerous others. The Concept of Cybersecurity Over the previous quite a while, specialists and policymakers have communicated expanding worries about shielding ICT frameworks from cyberattacks”ponder endeavors by unapproved people to get to ICT frameworks, as a rule with the objective of robbery, interruption, harm, or other unlawful activities. Numerous specialists expect the number and seriousness of cyberattacks to increment throughout the following few years.
The demonstration of ensuring ICT frameworks and their substance has come to be known as cybersecurity. A wide and ostensibly to some degree fluffy idea, cybersecurity can be a valuable term yet has a tendency to resist exact definition. It for the most part alludes to at least one of three things: ? An arrangement of exercises and different measures expected to secure”from assault, interruption, or different dangers”PCs, PC systems, related equipment and gadgets programming and the data they contain and convey, including programming and information, and in addition different components of cyberspace.
The state or nature of being shielded from such dangers of cyber security includes the wide field of executing and enhancing online exercises and quality. It is identified with yet not by and large viewed as indistinguishable to the idea of data security, which is characterized in government law (44 U.S.C. ?§3552(b) (3)) as shielding data and data frameworks from unapproved sources, utilized, revelation, disturbance, adjustment, or annihilation with a specific end goal to give trustworthiness impact which implies guarding against ill-advised data change or obliteration, and incorporates guaranteeing data nonrepudiation and legitimacy. Secrecy is an important aspect in cybersecurity which implies saving approved limitations on access and exposure, including implies for securing individual protection and restrictive data. The next important aspect is accessibility, which implies guaranteeing convenient and dependable access to and utilization of data. Cybersecurity is likewise some of the time conflated improperly in broad daylight discourse with different ideas, for example, security, data sharing, insight social occasion, and observation. Protection is related with the capacity of a distinct individual to control access by others to data about that individual. In this way, great cybersecurity can help secure protection in an electronic domain, however data that is shared to aid cybersecurity endeavors may now and then contain individual data that at any rate a few eyewitnesses would see as private. Cybersecurity can be method for securing against undesired observation of and social affair of knowledge from a data framework. Be that as it may, when gone for potential wellsprings of cyberattacks, such exercises can likewise be valuable to help impact cybersecurity. Likewise, reconnaissance through checking of data stream inside a framework can be an imperative part of cybersecurity. Management of Cybersecurity Risks and the dangers related with any assault rely upon three elements: dangers (who is assaulting), vulnerabilities (the shortcomings they are assaulting), and impacts (what the assault does). The administration of hazard to data frameworks is viewed as key to viable cybersecurity.
What Are the Threats?
Individuals who really or conceivably perform cyberattacks are broadly referred to as falling into at least one of five classifications: The first category is crooks expectation on fiscal picks up from violations, for example, burglary or coercion. Secondly spies plan on taking arranged or restrictive data utilized by government or private elements. Third classification is country state warriors who create abilities and embrace cyberattacks in help of a nation's vital destinations and the last group is "hacktivists" who perform cyberattacks for nonmonetary reasons; and psychological oppressors who take part in cyberattacks as a type of non-state or state-supported fighting.
What Are the Vulnerabilities?
Cybersecurity from numerous points of view is a weapons contest amongst aggressors and safeguards. ICT frameworks are extremely mind boggling, and assailants are continually testing for shortcomings, which can happen at many focuses. Protectors can regularly secure against shortcomings. However, three are especially testing: incidental or purposeful acts by insiders with access to a framework; production network vulnerabilities, which can allow the inclusion of malevolent programming or equipment amid the procurement procedure. Notwithstanding for vulnerabilities where cures are known, they may not be actualized as a rule on account of budgetary or operational limitations.
What Are the Impacts?
A fruitful assault can trade off the privacy, trustworthiness, and accessibility of an ICT framework and the data it handles. Cyber theft or cyberespionage can bring about exfiltration of money related, restrictive, or individual data from which the assailant can profit, regularly without the information of the casualty. Foreswearing of-benefit assaults can moderate or keep honest to goodness clients from getting to a framework. Botnet malware can give an aggressor order of a framework for use in cyberattacks on different frameworks. Assaults on mechanical control frameworks can bring about the annihilation or interruption of the hardware they control, for example, generators, pumps, and rotators.
Most cyberattacks have constrained effects, however a fruitful assault on a few segments of basic framework (CI)” the majority of which is held by the private area”could majorly affect national security, the economy, and the vocation and wellbeing of individual subjects. Subsequently, an uncommon effective assault with high effect can represent a bigger hazard than a typical fruitful assault with low effect. While it is broadly perceived that cyberattacks can be exorbitant to people and associations, financial effects can be hard to quantify, and gauges of those effects differ generally. The general figure for yearly cost to the worldwide economy from cybercrime is $400 billion, with a few spectators contending that expenses are expanding significantly, particularly with the proceeded with development of ICT framework through the Internet and other new and rising platforms.
The expenses of cyberespionage can be considerably more hard to evaluate however are thought to be substantial. Managing the dangers from cyberattacks normally includes evacuating the risk source (e.g., by shutting down botnets or diminishing motivating forces for cybercriminals). Tending to vulnerabilities by solidifying ICT resources (e.g., by fixing programming and preparing representatives). Reducing impacts by moderating harm and reestablishing capacities (e.g., by having go down assets accessible for coherence of operations because of an assault). The ideal level of hazard lessening will change among segments and associations. For instance, the level of cybersecurity that clients expect might bring down an organization in the stimulation division than for a bank, a health center, or an administration office.
Government Role in Cybersecurity
The designated part in cybersecurity includes both securing elected frameworks and helping with ensuring nonfederal frameworks. Under current law, every single government organization has cybersecurity obligations identifying with their own frameworks, and many have division particular duties regarding CI. More than 50 statutes address different parts of cybersecurity. As a rule, the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) create principles that apply to government, nonmilitary personnel, ICT under the Federal Information Security Modernization Act (FISMA), and the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) is in charge of supervising their execution. The Department of Defense (DOD) is in charge of military ICT, resistance of the country in cyberspace, and, through the National Security Agency (NSA), security of national security frameworks (NSS), which handle ordered data. NSA is likewise part of the Intelligence Community (IC). The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has operational obligation regarding insurance of government nonmilitary personnel frameworks and is the lead organization planning elected endeavors helping the private division in ensuring CI resources. It is additionally the principle government center of data sharing for regular citizen frameworks through its National Cybersecurity and Communications Integration Center (NCCIC). The Department of Justice (DOJ) is the lead organization for requirement of significant laws.
Experts frequently say that powerful security should be a basic piece of ICT plan. However, engineers have generally centered more around highlights than security, for financial reasons. Additionally, numerous future security needs can't be anticipated, representing a troublesome test for architects. The structure of financial motivators for cybersecurity has been called contorted or even unreasonable. Cybercrime is viewed as shabby, gainful, and similarly alright for the crooks. Conversely, cybersecurity can be costly, by its tendency blemished, and the monetary profits for ventures are regularly uncertain. Cybersecurity implies diverse things to various partners, frequently with minimal normal concession to importance, execution, and dangers. Generous social obstacles agreement likewise exists, between parts as well as inside segments and even inside associations. Conventional ways to deal with security might be lacking in the hyper connected condition of cyberspace, however agreement on options has demonstrated tricky aspect. Cyberspace has been known as the speediest developing innovation space in mankind's history, both in scale and properties. New and developing properties and applications”particularly web-based social networking, portable figuring, huge information, distributed computing, and the Internet”additionally confound the advancing danger. However they can likewise posture potential open doors for enhancing cybersecurity, for instance through the economies of scale given by distributed computing and enormous information investigation. Enactment and official activities in the 114th and future Congresses could adversely affect those difficulties. For instance, cybersecurity R&D may influence the outline of ICT, cybercrime punishments may impact the structure of motivating forces, the NIST system may encourage accomplishment of an agreement on cybersecurity, and government activities in distributed computing and other new segments of cyberspace may help shape the development of cybersecurity.
In conclusion, organizations seem uninformed of the developing pattern in both the scale and modernity of cyber security dangers, and this is stressing. While cyber dangers are a piece of the new world, more should be possible to secure information and make it troublesome for gatherings to take or harm such information. With more up to date enactment pushing for more prominent security, needs may start to move, especially in light of the resistance punishments. While just following won't be the best methodology for shielding information from expanding assaults, it ensures that, that there is a base standard to be met, in any event diminishing the probability of an effective rupture. On a very basic level, the law is an intense apparatus to help with setting an exclusive expectation in information insurance, giving a level of security close by adaptability for firms to approach their arrangements in a business way.

My Love is Like to Ice
The poem makes me sympathize with the persona as I read it through. The statement,Ice which is congealed with the senseless cold should kindle fire by wonderful device makes a revelation how much the persona struggles but he is still never understood. This part makes me feel the sadness that the author has due to moments of being let down despite his manifestation of love to her. When I relate all the struggles that the persona has, the sonnet makes me sad and full of sympathy.
The poem was written during the Renaissance period; the age of the likes of Christopher Marlowe, William Shakespeare and Sir Philip Sidney among others. This period was characterized by significant minds who produced the best literary work in history. Their pieces of work especially the poem were masterpieces. The work of these writers in this era has however undergone severe alterations and changes thus the efforts to acquire the original information at that time has proved to excessively challenging. Various kinds of poems ranging from epic to ballad gained fame among writers and audience in the form of manuscripts, recitations and prints between 1509; the period when Henry viii reigned to 1660 when the commonwealth came to an end. The poets of this era observed the era of early modern history, how turbulent it was and measured it regarding glorious allegorical past. The poets then started focusing on human desires as well as the elementary matters of distinctiveness and prejudice.
The literary work devised at this period was characterized by various qualities such as detachment, play, mockery, disdain, entreaty and intense self-scrutiny among others. These qualities matured with time in the work of different writers. However, Renaissance poetry is divided into 2; the Tudor period of 1485-1603 and the Stuart period of 1603-1649. The boundary of Stuart and Tudor period poetry is critical in explaining the challenging epic and sonnet by innumerable poetic apprehensions such as devout poetry and satire. This helps in expounding on and accounting for the growing assertion onstrong lines existing in various minds and work of poets based on the writing styles employed. The dissections can, however, barricade the observation of similarities that exist between different writers who are said to share various correspondences as portrayed in the areas they explore in their work as well as the styles of writing employed. The poetic work of renaissance period is extraordinary when we talk about its quality, emotional complexity, rhetorical genius, variety and depth.
Spenser; the prince of the poet in his time travelled far and wide. He worked in various posts and was well educated. He also admired other people's work. His best poet was Geoffrey Chaucer. This means that for a person to be a great writer, he must be able to express himself and also have experience with various issues in life that form the subject of his work. Just like Spenser, one must be willing to carry out his passion regardless of being involved in other duties. One must also be willing to explore areas of interest to the people in the best way possible to capture the audience interest, and attention since every work that one does is intended to impress the people. It would, therefore, be a great loss to explore areas that are never captivating.
The theme of this poem is how uneven love can be. The pet has used various stylistic devices to bring out the theme in the best way possible. Being a Sensperian sonnet, the poem has a rhymes scheme of abab bcbc cdcd ee. The title of the poem is numbered sonnet since this is one of the many poems that Spenser made. The bit in parenthesis indicates a contrast that exists between words and even emotions. Spenser tries to deliver the message of how uneven love can be to the reader. Through the use of words and rhymes, he explains to the readers that despite the differences in feelings between two people, love will always shade your sanities of veracity and erroneous. Simile as a form of imagery is employed in the poem to convey the author's message.
The figurative form of language is used to stress the disparity of ice and fire.My love is like to ice and I to fire is a direct simile that in imagery form tries to explain the disparity existing between the feeling and emotions of two persons (line 1). Consonance and assonance are found in the sounds that have been repeated thus being able to make an emphasis on the images that the writer desires to trail. There is the use of theth" sound in line two that helps in penetrating through the fancies of the reader thus depicting the punitive aspects of the cold. A wide variety of emotions are expressed in the poem. The beginning of the poem is used to as a mien of exasperation that the writer has in his present state.
The author in the second stanza wonders why he is not understood despite the efforts that he puts to make her happy. His worries are because, despite everything that he does, he is always let down. The final stanza shows a shift in emotions where he states the message of the poem. He states that love is strong enough to blind a person's senses of right and wrong. This statement is used to show the intense emotions that he has and indicates that despite what happens, he still loves her so much.
This work is a masterpiece that should be admired by the present day audience. It should provide an insight into the fields that when explored capture the audience the most. The present-day audience should learn that the fields explored during the renaissance times are not so different from what is explored in the current era. The only variance is the disparity in the language used and the manner in which the message is communicated. However, this work is equally or even more attractive than the writings of the current era. Present day audience should therefore not ignore the work done at this time since it is rather more entertaining than they can even fathom.
The work of Edmund Spenser is from the renaissance time. That alone made me despise the work so much. I thought the message in work would be rather vague and so archaic for me to understand. However, when I read the poem, I realized that this piece of work is one of the most entertaining poems that I have ever come across. The styles of writing are perfectly employed and the message communicated is flawless. The manner in which the message has been communicated is unbelievably touching. At the end of it, this work changed the way I viewed the work done at ancient times and made me gain interest in exploring more of this kind of work made in the renaissance and classical periods.

Hope for Ramatoulaye in “So Long Letter” by Mariama Ba
According to Ba, Mariama (7), the main character for Mariama Ba's So Long Letter is Ramatoulaye. From the text, we learn that Ramatoulaye has written a letter to Assiatou who is her best friend expressing herself and how she plans to carry out her new life after acing all she went through. All the situations encountered by Ramatoulaye are spoken about and described in the letter. We therefore get to know the right portray of Ramatoulaye. For instance, she makes a transition from her careless dependence on anyone's love and trust to becoming a purely an independent lady and cares about her needs in a better way to an extent of becoming other people's skeptical. Ramatoulaye's change is expressed right from the time of meeting her future husband till the death time. Ramatoulaye's uniqueness is that she believed in love too much. For instance, even when she meets her second husband, she loves him with all her heart. Her soul expresses that there exists only one soul mate at her time of love. However, Ramatoulaye later come to discover that it is not always true about what she thinks in her heart especially when she faces reality in her life. For example, Ramatoulaye states, Modou Fall knew many undefinable things which gorofied and sealed our relationship (Ba 13).
Ramatoulaye changes her way of dung things and treats the all those who come to mourn the death of her husband well without considering discomforts from her culture and religious laws. Ramatoulaye meets all of them and had courage to operate within them. This marks the first glimpses specific renewal of courage and stoicism. Furthermore, she doesn't have any ill of Binetou who is known to have had a lovely affair with her husband or over five years. Similarly, Ramatoulaye is ready to participate in modernization of Senegal at her later ages in her effort to progress Senegal to a higher operational level. She calls for eternal debate she believes a solution will be found because she understands that she cannot offer solution her herself.
Also, Ramatoulaye finds more fulfillments in Aissatou where they remain in their profession and friendship. They continue in maintaining theirsacred convention joined duties as wives without any clashes as it was common when their husband Modou was living. Furthermore, Ramatoulaye is too concerned about taking care of her children, Aissatou and Mawdo in her effort to make them greater people. She later succeeds because later Aissatou leaves her married, goes back to taking education till he acquires a degree in interpretation which enables him secure a job at the embassy of Senegal in America. Ramatoulaye also continues to advise Mawdo to focus on her life than continuing to get children with Nabou despite the misery experienced between them. Similarly, Aunty Nabou and Ramatoulaye's guardianship enables young Nabou to get a French school enrolment Preston, Oliver. So Long a Letter Chapter 13.
Specifically, Ramatoulaye is now too enlightened that she sees education as the only thing to for better future. She makes emphasis to Binetou to follow the steps Aissau followed to become successful when she left Mawdo. Ramatoulaye speaks with all the understanding of how Senegal society makes it difficult for one to succeed especially for women to maintain both professional life and home as well. Lastly, Ramatoulaye hates those who uphold the cultural practices such as when Binetou submits to the demands of her family to be married according to the cultural custom. Therefore, Ramatoulaye positively changes her life great by a greater positive margin.

Slavery Research Paper
Introduction
Slavery is defined as a situation where an individual or more persons have complete authority and control over another person(s), presuming the slave ownership as personal property thus enacting labor and services from them. Slavery historic timeline dates back in 1619 when the ditch brought the first African slaves in the state of Virginia to help in crop production especially the in tobacco production. The slaves were mainly sourced from African continent and transported to North America as contracted servants who were to be at the service of their masters for a confined period of seven years. Slavery was highly practiced during the 17th and 18th century where the colonialists used the African Americans in building the new United States economy. Within the restrictions of their new homes, the slaves were barred from ever seeing their families again, and it was a requirement for them to perform heavy duties to their masters who imposed cruelty to them since they assumed that the slaves had no right.
The technological advancement in the 18th century like the invention of cotton gin in 1793 made slavery to be practiced more especially in the Southern economy. There was a bloody civil war in the mid-19th century caused by different in opinions in the issue about slavery by the abolition movements in the Northern America, making the nation to divide into two sections, the South and The North. The Northerners were campaigning for the abolition of slavery while the Southerners led by politicians such as Calhoun were supporting slavery. The issue n slavery was finally won by the Northern Union leading to approximately four million slaves being freed, although the legacy brought about by slavery has continually influenced the American history many years later after the emancipation.
During the 17th century, the European settlers who had moved to the new North American colonies turned to African slaves as a means of cheap and affordable labor. This was the foundation of slavery in the United States of America history. A Dutch ship carrying African slaves arrived at the port of Jamestown in Virginia in 1619 (Austin, 2008). After the incident, slavery became extensive throughout the US nation. In the century that followed, it is estimated that between six to seven million slaves from Africa were exported to the new colonies (O'Connell, 2012).
The invention of cotton gin in 1793 is another foundation of slavery in the American history (Goyal, 2014). After a period of a reduced demand in slaves due to the depletion of tobacco land, there was a mechanization of textile industry in England resulting to high demand for American cotton (Goyal, 2014). Cotton production was limited by the difficulty to extract seeds from the raw cotton crop by use of hands. Fortunately a school teacher by the name Eli Whitney invented the cotton gin-a simple machine that assisted the farmers to efficiently remove seeds from the raw cotton (Goyal, 2014). With the cotton gin the farmers in the southern part of America were able to cultivate short-staple cotton on a wide scale variety in the mainland areas. This led to the development of large Deep South areas as a cotton country in the 19th century (Goyal, 2014). The cotton gins required a lot of labor thus led to the increase in demand of slaves in the south. Just like rice, tobacco cultivation was also labor intensive. According to the population report in 1720, South Carolina had about 65% of the population consisting of slaves. The slaves were used by the planters in the cultivation of commodity crops.
In the period around the 17th and 18th century, African Americans slaves were mainly working on large-scale plantations of indigo, rice and tobacco, and were mainly based in the Southern coast (O'Connell, 2012).The dependency on slavery was almost becoming of no importance after the American Revolution took place, mainly in the North who linked their oppression by the English settlers to the African American slavery thus called for the abolition of slavery (O'Connell, 2012).The southerners on the other hand opted for a shift in the agricultural activities from small scale to large scale cultivation. This led to the increase in demand while there was also a different in opinion in the Union with the North states standing against slavery while the south states supporting slavery.
The United States constitution took effect in 1789 including multiple provisions that regard slavery. The section 9 article 1 of the constitution forbade the US federal government from banning slave importation before 1808 (Austin, 2008). To protect slavery, the delegates approved another section of the law which prohibited the freeing of slaves who had fled other states and required them to be returned to the chattel owners of the property. James Madison of Virginia then negotiated Section 2 of Article 1 that specified other persons to be included in the states total free population, at a rating of three fifth of their overall number so as to establish the official population of the states for the purpose of federal taxation and appointments in the congress (Austin, 2008). The political power of the Southern representative was then strengthened by the slavery afforded in the constitution since three-fifth of the slave population (non-voting citizens) was counted during the appointments in the congress.
In addition to the slave laws, the Southern economy was the nerve of the American economy. Prominent slaveholder political figures and commodity crop had a great political and economic influence in the United States. Between the 72 year period of the election of President Abraham Lincoln and George Washington, the president of the United States was a slaveholder (Austin, 2008). Between the same periods too there was no person elected for a second term who was not a slaveholder. This impacted the increased in power in congress for the southern states thus affecting the national legislation and policies. The slaveholders were dominant in the United States Presidency and the congressional delegation for over 50 years (Austin, 2008).
Over one third of the population in the south constituted of slaves. Most of the slaves lived on small plantations or large firms with many masters owning less than 50 slaves (Austin, 2008). The planters aimed at making the slaves to depend on them completely and used the restrictive codes system to govern the life among the slaves. The movement of the slaves was restricted and their masters prohibited them from learning how to read and write. Many masters rewarded obedient slaves with favors while those who rebelled were cruelly punished. Many slave women were used by their masters for sexual liberties. To keep the slaves divided and unlikely to rebel, the masters used a strict hierarchy among them ranging from house girls who were privileged, to the skilled artisans down to the field hands (O'Connell, 2012).Slaves were allowed to marry even though their marriages had no legal basis. Most of the slaves raised big families but could be separated by their masters through slave sale or removal.
Slaver rebellions were conducted from time to time. The most noteworthy slavery revolt took place in the later months of 1883 and was under the leadership of Nat Turner in Southampton region, Virginia State. Turner organized a group of people who included about seventy-five blacks and conducted raids that saw close to sixty white slave owners being murdered under cold blood in just a span of months (Adadevoh, 2016). Unfortunately, they white militia overwhelmed them. As a result of Turner's revolt, slavery codes were tightened in the South in order to limit their access to education and movement. After Turner's revolt, an abolition movement rose in the North. It was led by free blacks and whites from the North who were against the institution of slavery. Most members of the abolition movement argued that slavery was a sin, regressive and made no sense to the contribution of the American economy. In the early 1780s, the northerners helped some slaves escape from the south.
Between the 1830s to 1860s periods, there was a rise in slave abolition movements which gained strength especially in the northern part of the United States. Led by white supporters like William Lloyd who was the founder of the newspaper the Liberator and free blacks like Harries Stowe the puablisher of the anti-slavery novelUncle Tom's Cabin (1850). Many abolitionists based their activism on religion, believing that slavery is a sin; some abolitionists based their arguments on a non-religiousfree labor holding that slaveholding was inefficient, regressive and made very little sense in the American economy. Free blacks and northerners who supported antislavery had begun assisting the fugitive slaves to escape from the plantations in the south to the north via loose safe house networks as early as the year 1780. In the 1830, the practice which was known as Underground Railroad was widely used and even though there is a wide variation in estimates, it may have assisted between 40,000 to 100,000 slaves to get their freedoms (Adadevoh, 2016). The Underground Railroad success led to the spread of abolitionists in the north. It undoubtedly created tension between the northerner's and the southerner's with the slaveholders in the south being worried of their northern counterpart's intention of defeating the slavery that sustained them.
In the first half of the 19th century there was an explosive growth in America and the westward expansion. This would provide a bigger stage for the growing slavery conflict in America and the future expansion or limitation of the slavery act. In 1820, there was a heated debate over the right to restrict slavery by the federal government which ended up in compromise. In 1850, a tiny compromise was negotiated and this resolved the territorial questions that were won during the War in Mexico (Austin, 2008).
In 1960 the republican candidate Abraham Lincoln was elected as president of the United States. This would lead to the south reaching a breaking point after more than seven states joined to form the Confederate States of America within the first three months. Another four states would later join after the beginning of the civil war (1861-1865). Though Lincoln had already established his antislavery views, the central aim of his union shifted from abolishment of slavery to the unification and preservation of the United States nation (Austin, 2008). Abolition war was considered later due to the growing of anti-slavery sentiments especially in the North, military necessities, and the self-emancipation of the many African Americans who fled enslavement due to the union troops sweeping through region. Lincoln then declared that the slaves within the states or regions that rebelled slavery shall be free thenceforth and forevermore.
Slavery has left a lot of legacy in the contemporary society as well as the history of America. In the 13th Amendment, slavery was completely abolished (Ocon, 2012). Former slaves received equal rights of citizenship as the whites but then it became difficult for them to gain status and recognition in the US. Actually, all slavery has done is change the way in which it comes. In the modern US, the blacks are segregated and disadvantaged. The American culture is institutionalized by racism. As a result of this racism, the blacks have fewer opportunities to education and even lucrative businesses (Ocon, 2012). This has created an economic gap between the whites and blacks in the US. The blacks are poorer while the majority of the white is extremely rich. In other word slavery still exists in the current US but using another title? For instance, child labor and selling of women into other countries for domestic chores as cleaning cooking is in itself a form of slavery.
Conclusion
American slavery began in the year 1619 when the Dutch imported Africans to the state of Virginia to act as workers in the huge cotton and tobacco plantations. With the cotton gin being invented to improve the production of cotton, an increase in demand for cheap labor to operate the cotton gins led to the increase in slavery. The colonialists in the south also led to more slavery since they needed more laborious to work in their firms. The Abolition movement, western expansion, differing opinions a self-emancipation led to a bloody civil war. The north and South states had different opinions regarding the issue of slavery. Slavery still has a legacy in the contemporary society. It still exists to date only that it comes with a different title. In the culture of US, there is a high rate of racism where the Blacks are disadvantaged and are not to as many opportunities as the whites. This has created a huge economic gap. In other nations child, labor and selling off their female abroad is also a form of slavery.

Toyota Company
Introduction
Toyota motor company is among the top ten leading and largest companies in the world. The company also counts as the second leading in the general vehicles production in the world and the motor industry. The Toyota Company has always been in my interest to study and possibly be an essential part of the organization shortly. Toyota Company is on a rapid rise and highly determined to take over as the world's leading motor organization in the motor industry.
The company established in the year 1867 has recently expanded and consequently adapted an effective management planning and strategy that has seen a vast success in the organization. The general growth and success of the company largely depend on the body and the structure of the top management team and public planning. The management's planning practices must be a positive influence on the employees for the success of the company (Dyer & Nobeoka, 2013).
In the Toyota Company, the essential functions of the company are well managed by the plan. The plan gives the company's employees the best working conditions that have been key to the realization of the great success that Toyota has witnessed in the recent years. Through the management plan, the organization is then able to fully function and realize the maximum profit from the company products and services (Dyer & Nobeoka, 2013). During the research period in this company, I found it excellent how the company strategy is laid and implemented hence choosing on Toyota company.
The employees and the general staff of the company are instrumental to the success of the respective organization. It is therefore essential for the top management to create an excellent organizational culture that will be favorable to the employees in the group (Cameron & Quinn, 2015). This culture will naturally help to boost the working morale of the employees as they develop a positive perception of the goals and the strategies of the particular company.
The well laid down management strategies in the Toyota motor company's management has helped to create the necessary positive perception in the employees. The excellent performance of the management team has been vital in influencing the opinion as their involvement of the employees in the laying down of the goals, and the strategies have greatly succeeded (Cameron & Quinn, 2015). The management has well known the best environment that the employees need to work and the culture that they expect of the company.
Effective external communication of the company is vital in helping to market the product sales consequently increasing the sales and therefore profits. This initiative also ensures that the company is in a position to enhance their reputation and the general public image (Takeuchi, 2014). In the Toyota Company, a separate external communication department is run and well managed by the corporate manager that has dramatically recovered the company's reputation. A set of the guiding principles are also well laid that helps in the communication activities.
Organizational and management communication is vital to the success of the company and for the reputation of the particular organization. Toyota Company has enhanced the flow of the dialogue in all directions in the company at the same pace that has enabled the employees, and all the stakeholders including management to well achieve the organization objectives and hence recovering the company's reputation. Toyota Company has also employed several stakeholders communication that ensures the control of the company is inclusive of all the stakeholders, and this has been important to the recent rise of the company and its general sales (Takeuchi, 2014).
In conclusion, Toyota Company has dramatically improved their management planning that has enhanced the employees'perceptions of the company due to the favorable culture of the organization. The well-laid communication channels have helped in regaining the company's reputation

Importance of Civil Disobedience by Henry David Thoreau: Empowering Citizens for Just Governance
Henry's essay on civil disobedience was established in 1849 as a form of resistance to poor governance. It is one of the most important works in American history as it deals with the rights as well as the responsibilities of citizens in view of the government. The essay has been used to legalize efforts to peaceful protests and resistance so as to cause a government change in the government policies that are found to be unjust and are at times used to completely change the government. He argues that the first duty of each and every citizen is to do what they identify as right and not to pursue what is stated by the law of the common. In cases where the government is unjust, the citizens should refuse to follow the law and isolate themselves from the government. A person is thus not responsible for eliminating evil in the society, but rather the citizens are compelled refute from taking place in these evils. This involves one not being a member of an unfair organization such as the government. He goes on ahead to argue that the United States fits into this category of having an unfair control, given its participation in slavery and in its practice of the violent war. He, therefore, demands civil disobedience from his fellow citizens so as to correct the errors of the government in relation to the war of his time. This disobedience remains to be important to the present day. Civil disobedience is therefore crucial in ensuring that the government does not surpass border in its role.
Civil disobedience is important as it supports the various concerns within the state's government. It is therefore carried out as a response to some of the breakdown in the system for the citizen's involvement in the decision-making process. This breakdown is viewed as a democratic deficit and with such deficit in the state; it may be inevitable to have a dialogue on real democracies. The disobedience carried out to correct these deficits may be viewed as reflectors to the varying degrees of the citizen's sensitivity to democratic models. Civil disobedience thus remains to be a very vibrant portion of the liberal democracies. Civil disobedience is therefore always a matter of disparity of wellbeing in the society. it is always caused by an infringement of the moral principles by the government and defends these standards by undertaking the acts of disobedience. The only way to prevent these acts of disobedience is through making the laws of the people to support not only the wellbeing of the majority but rather it takes into consideration the importance of other people's well being too.
In support of Henry's view, the true nobility is attained from civil disobedience, according to the validation of the individual, to government's unfair policy rather than the scheme disagreement, attached to social obedience. One of the key reasons as to Henry's reach for this conclusion, it is connected with the occurrences of slavery and the Mexican war which is coupled with United States of America (Thoreau 3).
His view of civil disobedience was just a means of creating awareness on the people of the main reasons as to why they ought not to settle for less than an ideal government. His work is a reminder that it is the responsibility of the citizens to throw away a substandard government. His view thus touches on the subject of the many reasons why citizens should choose to do nothing about a government that they are not satisfied with. It is thus an important and well known political action to American citizens in fighting against slavery as well as segregation. The people are given the freedom to rule themselves in the manner pleasing to them. According to Henry, a man who works hard at any ruling organization's bidding merely because it requires him to do so, gives up his individual services as a man. This kind of man, therefore, becomes nothing more than just a mere man who commands no respect than other common men (Bankston 6).
He strongly believes that the government should not be solely ruled by the minority simply because they are physically strong, but rather they should be governed by conscience. This is quite true in the contemporary world as people have allowed the government to be ruled by people who have no conscience. This is clearly evident in the manner through which the government cares about money rather than the citizens (Bankston 10). With this kind of government, it is important to not govern at all. Hence for a society to be free from the poor form of governance they also have a part to play. All members of the society should be willing and capable of doing the right thing considering that they are doing it for the well being of the community. However, Henry asserts s that the government is important in resolving conflicts and matters of the state but people ought to submit only to the government which has the consent and sanction of its citizens (Bankston 6).
According to Henry, citizens who have a good sense of right and wrong should actively go up against unfair government policies. He thus advocates for the use of non-violent resistance such as refusing to pay taxes as Henry did (Carton 108). They should also be ready to go to jail rather than give way to dissolute and disreputable government laws as well as activities. Slavery is one of the evil institutions that ought to be abolished in a country. The Mexican war was an unfair conflict since it is being fought so as to get hold of new territory in which to create slavery. Talk is considered not important as far as the unjust government is concerned. It is thus important for actions to be used so as to back up the talks. It is of little importance to just say that one is against an unfair government policy and totally does nothing so as to get rid of that policy. However, supporting one's words with actions that inflict hardship on the intended institution will yield the intended results. Citizens must, therefore, oppose efforts through groups that encourage personal selfish interests at the expense of fairness, moral values, and individual rights (St. Jean 341).
Nevertheless, it is quite important to note that Henry is not advocating for the citizens to simply deny the existence of unfair laws. Henry identifies that the people must be willing to pay for the cost of their actions. Though Thoreau's view is unsafe if universalized, it is much more benevolent if people are only opposing unfair laws. For unfair laws are usually themselves autocratic. Henry thus does not distinguish the moral authority of the unjust government and hence goes on ahead to advocate for the citizens to disobey them. However, he does recognize their legal authority and thus accepts his consequences through going to jail (Thoreau 1).
To sum it up, the best government is one that has rigorously limited powers. It should thus use powers not only to undertake ethical and fair activities for their citizens. Unluckily, divisions of controlling self-interest groups sometimes control the government into undertaking out actions that upset the sense of right and wrong for decent citizens. Henry believes that each and every man has an inborn knowledge that allows him or her to distinguish and identify with the moral truth without the benefit of awareness attained from the physical intellect. The moral principle used in his view on civil disobedience, therefore, has influenced human rights defenders across the globe. People can thus abide by the laws of the state only if they are just and when the leaders are at the forefront to uphold the moral principles and values of citizen guided by their consciences. With this kind of attitude, the country will be a good place for all of the people to live in as equality and fairness will be the order of the day.

Most Memorable Family Vacation
This is a vacation to Florida where I show you and explain what went on. James my husband, viad my 18-year-old son who I love two handsome stepsons Avery and Ardan are who accompanied me on this trip. We went to places such as Disney, the magic kingdom in Orlando and also the Neville public museum. Where we took most of our time learning about the history of the country of visit among other activities which will be part of this essay.
The vacation all started off when we arrived as family in Greenbay where I, having being the only one with excitement, with viad being on his phone and my two pretty ones on the phone I was the only one who enjoyed the view and the fresh air of Greenbay.we started off with a trip to the Neville museum where we took a lot of photos courtesy of viad and also was a chance for James to relate to is work in the archeological field and was what I think made most of my trip. We were so tired as seeing from my little ones Avery and Aiden, continuous and helpless yawns and viand tendency to listen to music, so we took time to take packed foods at a local joint in the museum and booked into a hotel for the night. Avery and Aiden where stalk into a maze of fight thus we had to book them different rooms and viad who was cool and locked on his touch phone I bought for him last summer didn't even bother on anything at all and that's how we spent the first day of pour vacation.
The second day was a day which proved to me to be the challenge the kids wanted to visit Disney land and we didn't want to spend more than budgeted and we opted for the road to Orlando which was far but cost efficient since we had rented a car. The kids at the back and James driving we set the ball rolling for the long trip.my two kids Avery and Aiden who was to share Nintendo playing station pad could not get along with each other and this was what made us busy for the road having most of the time solving their issues. James who is my husband took most of the time driving since we were warned that driving this road one needs to be careful.
We reached Orlando at last thank god I will never do such a thing I regret. We did not even take time to visit the places but sort to retire to bed and asked James, my sweetheart, to book us one of the hotels where we will spend the night. The next morning we took the first bus to Disney land as they say cant pass Orlando without visiting Disney. We took to Disney and it was a real beauty.Aiden and Avery were left in wonder with their eyes as I could see were full of amazement. viad was as usual on his phone and what made him smile was after Disney when we took to the beach for the evening breeze where he video chatted with his friend and surely it was a great experience seeing the sunset.
We took a late flight back home on the third day where we were tired but was a very memorable trip.for sure it was memorable but except for the road trip for sure .This was a trip to remember for sure.

Oedipus Rex and Long Day’s Journey into the Night – Human Weakness of Pride and Ego
Introduction
When the play starts, Thebes is kind of suffering from a plague disaster which leaves everything including individuals in a bad state. King Oedipus, who is associated with Thebes, sends his brother into law, Creon, all the way to Apollo to ask what can at least end the hazard. The possible ideology to end the disaster can only be found in the killer of King Laius is found. While Oedipus hears this, he swears to find the killer within the shortest time possible. On the other hand, Long day's journey into night is set around the summer of the Tyrone family, August in the year 1912. The proceeding starts around the morning, sometime before the breakfast period. As time goes on, it is learned that Mary returns to her family after she receives some good treatment in sanatorium associated with bathe morphine addiction. This paper aims at critically comparing the ancient Oedipus Rex and the modern long day's journey into night. In addition, a comparison will be in terms of compelling pictures of hu8man weakness associated with pride and ego.
It is an unsavory problem for someone to be taken into consideration with a curse. The destiny that is given within the midst of the tale is a motive to make the story entrancing. To keep with for as ways again as you may recollect information that you may definitely kill your father and marry your mother is statistics like that have to be unthinkable to the human cannot break out you are predetermination paying little mind to what you attempt to do and the way hard your assignment. Oedipus is the story of a ruler of Thebes who perseveres thru the scary consequences of fate. In the midst of a time of torment, fires, and awesome kinds of troubles, Oedipus makes a float to restore life and prospering to his nation, wherein he discovers via this traveler that his individual isn't always what the concept. In this time, he reveals that he has killed his very personal father, married his non-public mom, and had youngsters together with her. Inside no time, mother Jocasta kills herself subsequent to understanding fact and Oedipus ended up in blinding himself. This passes on me to the conclusion that there's nothing Oedipus should do approximately it. It is every of the 1ust consider to be and a defendant of predetermination. Oedipus' destiny can't be changed.
The fundamental ones who can in truth watch are outwardly weakened. Oedipus' imaginative and prescient great eyes and knowledge have made him an outstanding master of Thebes, while he lit up the inquiry and moreover restoring the metropolis. Regardless, he's unaware of fact approximately his private precise existence. According to the given techniques, one wants to have the capacity to see a few issues, and functions the capacity to recognize it. On that assertion, Sophocles keeps the chance that honest to goodness find out does now not require eyes but as a substitute the capability to peer beyond the ground of things. It is 1ust surprising that the Tiresias is neglectful with recognize to the world but can see reality and Oedipus are oblivious regarding truth yet can the sector. Regardless, he comprehends his visual predicament to reality within the wake of understanding his very personal identification and spotting horrendous topics he did coincidentally.
Every man or woman has the positive most remote factor and her or him on the spot life inner those precise limits in like way. An assumption in plenitude will ultimately apprehend the annihilation of the person associated. Exactly whilst a selected condition affects them to be incensed, she or he need to endeavor and stay calm, attempting now not to adjust something which can also attack some character in various measures. Basically, whilst a chum takes into account some prompts, they should be regarded as critical in moderate of the manner that that person watches over the sidekick picked. Every single such an urges need to be located below bodily games, with all what it takes to guarantee that the whole lot is under awesome control. Oedipus does now not have any choice approximately the issue, so he ends up butchering his luxurious father and marries his mother without definitely. Honestly, he is essentially endeavoring to avoid each certainly one of this stuff to occur. Suitably, how a person sets up his or her accuse relies upon an individual will. Individuals can have a choice to settle on minor selections and take a key pathway to the degree life is involved.
On the other hand, the difficult day's ride into the night time shows in particular to the overall populace. The play, circulated after lack of existence, addresses O'Neill's closing phrases to the masterful worldwide. Note that his play is not impugning in nature; no person is expected to be regarded as specifically greater deplorable than a few unique. This is one of the play's tremendous traits that show that many character imperfections may be visible as positives even as seen from a substitute factor of view. In this manner, Troublesome Day's Stumble into Night places vivaciously inside the authoritative issues of lingo. It is a world wherein there may be a massive weight located on the deficiency of tightfistedness in place of the moderation of sensibility. The play in like manner makes an international wherein correspondence has remote. One of the sizable conflicts in the play is the characters' uncanny frailty to skip on, however, their enduring appealing. For example, the men every occasionally combat among themselves over Mary's subjugation, but no person will confront her directly. Or maybe, they empower her to delude herself about her own specific oppression and about Edmund's disease. Edmund and Jamie do now not pass on nicely until the final show, at the same time as Jamie, in the end, concedes his very own particular envy of his kinfolk and need to see him crash and burn. Tyrone, in like way, can clearly reprove his children, however, his diligent nature may not empower him to understand enter.
Most of the ones that want to choose upward thrust ahead are enormously alive for the Tyrones. Mary particularly cannot dismiss the beyond and every one of the dreams she once had of being a spiritual female or a performer. Tyrone too has reliably had excessive trusts in Jamie, who has been a consistent unhappiness. Each one of the disputes and the problems from the past cannot be left out, and, sincerely, they offer off an have an effect on of will surely be associated with a long term. It is critical to check that Saddling Day's Enterprise into Night isn't always simplest a journey forward in time, but also an excursion over again into the past presences of the exceptional range of characters, who perseveringly dunk all another time into their antique existence.
The play is all of the greater ugly in slight of the way that it leaves little look for after the future; truly, the future for the Tyrone must be seen as one long cycle of a reiterated past positive in with the resource of alcohol and morphine. This play comes to be conceded the Pulitzer Prize whilst it comes to be first appropriated, and it has remained a champion some of the maxima appeared plays of the 20th century. Perhaps most importantly, it has acquired business organization ground in mild of the manner that about each own family can see itself pondered in any event a couple of regions of the play. The Tyrone circle of relatives is not an outstanding own family, and it is truly no longer tough to become aware of with endless disputes and characters. The play has an uncommon enthusiasm to each the individual organization element and to analysts of American display, which elucidates its unmistakable best and continuing on laud.
According to my own opinion, the long day's journey into the night paints more accurately. This is simply because it has clearly illustrated some important themes which reflect the current society.

Cosi Fan Tutte
Cosi Fan Tutte is a great performance written in Italian language and composed by Mozart and performed at Playhouse Theater. From the start, the sauciness was clearly played with Nicholas Charmers being responsible for playing overture that gave performance a hoover continuo. This paper strives to give a review of Sethi Cos Fan Tutte by looking at the quality of performance especially the use of music. In addition the will focus on key aspect of the performance that influence my reaction.
To start with, walking to Playhouse Theater, I was a bit skeptical of what to expect and how I would enjoy. I went with an open mind, ready to enjoy every bit of the performance but unfortunately I had hard time maintain eye contact and paying attention to the performance. In my view, Sethi Cos Fan Tutte was a great performance but lacked the kindly of music, language and intensity that usually capture my attention. The fact that the scrip is written in Italian completely disoriented my focus and I kept watching at audience who did not understand the language like myself. I have spoken nor studied Italian and therefore I had difficult time keeping along with the show. Translation of words on a screen that was above worsened the situation as I constantly kept looking up and completely lost the flow.
I had never attended opera in the past and as result was excited to experience something new. However, my excitement turned to distress due to the constant singing which I was not used to. The Italian singing frustrated me as I was unable to listen and follow the show concurrently. I highly appreciated the hard work of having wide range of music in the performance despite the fact that I did not like the music itself. To make the situation worse, the music was sang in Italian and completely killed my interest. I found myself dozing off or day dreaming in the middle of the show.
I have watched highly engaging music this semester and my presence in the opera marked on of my dull moments. However, I marked one involving and hilarious moment when Despina and women were discuss their love lives. There was intense emotional moments that captured my attention until I realized that I was not understanding the words and the music. In my view, the performance was not eye-capturing and thus required sweet music capture my attention. The lack of such music and hilarious moment kept me completely detached from the performance. Lack of understandable language and intense music not only stole my appeal but also confused my attention in the performance.
In conclusion, Cosi Fan Tutte was indeed a great performance which unfortunately could not capture my attention. The music that was used within the performance was not my preferred type of music, so I had an immediate bias against the show. With the lack of intensity to add the other overall factors, created a show that I had a tough time enjoying. I cannot deny all of the hard work and dedication that goes into putting on an Opera Performance, but it is not a show that I particularly enjoy. Cosi Fan Tutte was an amazing experience, but was one of my least favorite performances this semester.

Comparative Study for Tess of D’urbervilles and Jude of the Obscure
The book of D'Urbervilles, the problems of Tess tend to start when his father comes to know that their family came from ancient family. She experiences pressure which makes her to approach Alec D'Urberville who seduces her. Later they bear a kid together but the kid dies at her infancy stage. Thereafter, Tess falls in love with Angel. She tells her story of D'Urberville to Angel who does not become happy about it because he says she is not pure hence he leaves claiming that D'Urberville may come back to her. Tess becomes desperate up to an extent where she become the mistress of Alec until Angel comes back. Tess kills Alec and escapes with Angel but she is later caught and charged with murder and eventually she is killed. On the other hand Jude has an ambition of joining the university. He is distracted by the village girl and they end up delivering the child together. Later they separate and Jude tries to pursue her dreams and goals (Hardy, 12-14). The university rejects him hence leading him to work as the stonemason. In the process he come to meet his cousin who is more educated and intelligent than him. In the process they start a relationship and finally they end up having kids together. They experience a lot of problems together up to an extent the kid of Arabella kills the kid they have delivered with her cousin. The kid of Arabella finally kills himself. At the end the two separates and her cousin goes back to her husband and Jude goes back to Arabella who they had kid together before. The paper is going to explore different aspects that are read from the two books. The aspects are, the changing of the ideas for the Social Class, women being dominated by the men, love, the existence of injustice and the naturalistic nature.
In Hardy's book, Jude is portrayed as the dreamer. Jude becomes a prisoner for her own physical nature and one of the desperate haunting creations. Jude is dark and not sympathetic account for the insuperable obstructions of the existence of human that show the yawning of Hardy for spiritual values that passed and the despair of their fall.
In D'Urbervilles, Hardy shows the issues about the mores that concern the sexuality in the society. This done through him questioning the compassionate of the society and the defending of the heroine who becomes seduced, and raped with the son of the employer. She delivers an illegitimate child and she is rejected by the man who she married and loved. She is finally killed for the murdering of the original lover (Thomas, 34-45).
Hardy brings out the class of the education system as being challenged. This is through the defeat of the aspirations of Jude to the knowledge. At this moment the mortality becomes affronted in a way that it is sympathetically shows Jude and Sue changing partners leading to having kids together without the knowledge of marriage in their minds. On the other hand Tess is seen moving from one world which has beautiful regions within Marlott. She descends to the slopes to have a claim kin and there the environment is cool and formal but it is contrived. In Talbothays is the place where Tess comes to experience the great joy and happiness. The place is green and at the same time it is fertile. On the other hand the region of Flintcomb-Ash is barren showing the harshness for the work of Tess's life. Finally the narrative comes into an end in an equal way of mysterious region (Lall, 40-75).
Unfairness is observed in the life of Tess and his family generally up to an extent that it becomes as if it is the aspect that is general for human survival for Tess for d'Urbervilles. Tess has no intention of murdering Prince nevertheless she receives the punishment though like how Alec was punished in the unfair way for the rape that was conducted by him. Nor do we seem to have any kind of justice that is being waited for in heaven? Tess shows the images of the significance for societal class of England at nineteenth-century plus the hardship for the class that is defining in the simple way. Therefore the theme which is recurrent is which shows how the men tend to dominate the women, having power over them connected primarily to the maleness of their own (Millgate, 93-115).
The central theme of Hardy's novel is love. This is clearly shown through the emphasis for the part that women played through the human drummer. Hardy tries to show that the existence for women as a whole, was love. He shows their sweetness, courtly, frailly, submissiveness and the caprice. He tries to represent them when they are fault through the tender chivalry. He has sympathy to women and the suffering of Tess. The attitude was partially because his temperament he was born for the love of fair sex. But it is as a result of his own view towards the human nature. Women are shown in a way that they depend on fate hence it causes tragedy to them. Tess therefore becomes the victim of the men for whom she had love for Angel. The strong sympathy that Hardy has driven him to become hostile to such kind of idealism. Tess represents those victims with supernatural forces (David, 511-522).
The final paragraph of D'Urbervilles shows the immortals for the spot of the novels of the heroine. Jude shows the tragedy for the fulfilled aims that are thwarted within the two agencies which are distinct hence showing the ambitions of the man who is poor and man who is weak in terms of character. The adequacy of these leads to obstacles which are abundantly proved but the main characters Jude and Sue become conscious. On top of that there is also deeper hostility which is more comprehensive and Tess becomes the impeachment of the divine and human agencies.
Jude expresses his sympathy for women in his sub-title A pure woman faithfully presented. The critical handling that Jude employees led to the end of the warfare of Hardy with most critics. Jude as the hero becomes the late comer in the long line for the Victorian characters who are fictional. The young talented man tries to show the position he stands for contrary to the ads for the society (Tomalin, 113-145).
D'Urbervilles shows the complex pictures for importance of the social during the nineteenth century of England plus difficulties for defining the class in a simple way. Durbeyfields become the powerful emblem whereby the class becomes no more in terms of evaluation in the Victorian times as the way it could be during middle Ages. Durbeyfields have the purity in terms of blood despite the person plus almost everyone in the book, hence this this leads to pieces for the genealogical trivia. In the context of Victoria, money matters a lot as compared to the issue of lineage which shows how Simon the father of Alec was successful in the usage of his fortune, which was large in terms of purchase for the lustrous family, and transformation of his clan to the Stoke-d'Urbervilles. These issue of the class confusion goes further to affect the Clare clan, whose son is the most promising, Angel, who intends to become the agriculturalist and wedding of the maid, hence sidestepping the freedoms of tradition for the Cambridge schooling plus the rectory. His readiness to toil alongside the labores for a ranch gives him help to ingratiate him towards Tess, hence their associate may not become potential if he was extra of the old-style. Therefore the characters who are in the triangle of Angel, Tess and Alec become powerfully marked by the misperception concerning their societal classes (Woodhall, 90-120).
Most of the features in the novel tend to be based on the naturalistic theory. The milieu is the environment where the people reside hence it serves the importance for the lives for the characters and heredity hence therefore it becomes one of the naturalistic influences. It plays the role of determining temperaments for the characters, their deeds, behaviors and the mental deposition. Social and the natural setting is visibly seen by main characters of the book. This is because their background tend to be portrayed at a greater detail. Milieu tend to influence the lives of people in the different degree and manner. Clair is heard saying that unfairness has become dominant amongst the life of Tess plus his family to the level that it is seen as normal in their existence. Christianity shows that there is compensation later after life for the unhappiness of the suffering in this life. The forces that tend to control life are irregular and are not fit shown to people. Pre-Christian services that are done with the workers of the farm at beginning of the book plus the last rest of Tess in Stonehenge help us to recall of the world which gods tend not to be fair but are uncaring in nature. This is shown through the quoteJustice was done, and the President of the immortals had ended his spot with Tess.(Yeganeh, 60-79).
Discrimination of women by men is seen when Alec acknowledges that he seduces Tess at his own benefit. The abuse that Alec shows to Tess becomes the most serious occurrence that shows the dominance of male over women. Another good example is seen when Angel says that he has preference for Tess, the friend to Tess, Ratty, wants to commit suicide and also a friend to her, Marian, ends being alcoholic which leads to their past youngster who falls for Angel look alarming. The offence does not just show affection but the fascination which is not healthy. The girls seem to be having a desire for the man who does not realize that the women have an interest in him. This shows how women are more unsettling as compared to the outward of Alec and the cruelty.
Lastly, the two novels bring out the tragic stories for the single life. They tend to bring the realism of nature in an understable way. The issue of symbolism is brought out well and in a clear manner.

Growth Mind Vs Fixed Mind
Fixed verses growth mind set
Mindset is said to be a people's believe in the mind, the underlying believes that people have about learning and intelligence (Dweck 4). It comes in two forms; it can either be fixed mindset or growth mindset. This was put forth by Carol Dreck and her colleagues interested in students'attitudes towards failure. As scholars they saw the need to come up with a strategy of getting to know student causes of failure and achievement at the same time. This research paper aims at educating the reader on the definition of a fixed mind set and a growth mind set. It also states the importance and ways of getting the growth mindset and lastly gives personal views about the mindset, mostly the growth mind set.
In a fixed mind set people believe that their basic qualities like talents and ability to understand or their intellectual capabilities are simply fixed traits. They therefore spend most of their time criticizing their abilities instead of working on them and developing them. They also believe that talent alone can create success which is wrong to my own opinion. It is not true because one cannot be able to perfectly perform without practice. The white men also believe that practice makes perfect. Through practice we discover or talents develop them and we later acquire success. The fixed mind set is not advisable to learners.
In a growth mindset, people believe that they can only improve and develop their skills and talent through hard work. People discover their abilities and dedicate all their energies which later bring about success. This creates an encouraging environment for work and high levels of production. The growth mindset creates motivation, on various areas of development such as, education, business, games and sports and also worldwide relationships between developing and developed countries (Dweck 75).
Mindset is an important mind belief since it helps us understand the reason as to why we should praise our efforts and not our ability. The belief that one can make it makes one work hard with persistence and can therefore achieve much. Therefore we are in control of what we are capable of doing. The goals that we set show that we have the ability and we strongly believe that we can achieve. The believe goes hand in hand with success. This is the reason as to why we should not praise our children basing our arguments on their abilities but we should clearly describe to them how they can put more effort in order to perform.
Growth mindset is more preferred than fixed mind set. There are various ways in which we can develop our growth mindset. We should avoid being victims of imperfection and learn that we cannot do everything perfectly but we can try and do everything to our level best. This way we can develop our growth mindset (Schorr 20). We should also learn to accept challenges and deal with them as opportunities that will pave way to greater heights. Challenges also strengthen us and shape our abilities. Through the challenges we develop the growth mindset if we receive the positively and work on them in one heart.
As learners we should always never say that we are failures. If we do not make it in a task we should not call ourselves failures indeed take it as a challenge and work on it without any negativity, we will realize that we even have greater abilities to handle the task and may even discover new ways or teach others new things that we could have knowledge about.
Achievers will not always value the end result but give much value to the understanding of the processes. For example in mathematics, a learner who appreciates the growth mindset is said to be more focused on knowing the formula and the steps to be followed rather than getting the correct answer. The correct answer is less important compared to the procedures that could even earn him or her more marks and also help us to handles related sums correctly. This is only when we want to develop our growth mindset.
Our abilities are based on our success. Psychologists believe that we should not give up on what we love. Putting more effort on what we love best helps us do it to our level best hence best results. If you think of less, work for less, you end up getting what you deserve. We all have our abilities and we should set our minds to maximize them.
Learner performance is based on their own believe about themselves. For example, if a learner believes that they can make it, they will always make it. For example in higher level of learning, Mathematics and physics is said to be harder for students. Those students who put such a belief in their mind it is also difficult to perform in class. Those who do not listen to such propaganda and work hard with persistence giving more time to the challenging parts of the subjects, and asking questions that happen to be difficult for them helps to make them pass and achieve the best.
This is the reason why a student who passes in a mathematics paper in form one or primary school, may end up failing in the form four exams. The difference comes in when the student changes the attitude on listening to propaganda that mathematics and physics is challenging. Once their minds are set on such basis, they reduce their practice and hard work hence negative results.
The fixed mind set can be changed to the growth mindset through ignoring the voice of the fixed mindset and do exactly the opposites of what you feel, for instance having a negative attitude towards hard work, brush it off and work hard. Realize that you can make a choice, work on it and succeed. Whenever challenges come your way, do not criticize them, work on them wholeheartedly and realize your abilities (Schieville 41). In this way you develop your abilities and achieve through your hard work. Practice listening to people with a positive mind, those that encourage you to do the right thing even in challenges.
With the growth mind set, a learner is able to know the appropriate learning style and use the right learning strategies. Various learning styles can work on various people. As a learner one should be able to learn those styles that work for him or her. Those that work should be put in practice. Those that do not work, should be changed for better since the brain can be retrained and reorganized to fit other things since the brain is not fixed then the mind should not be fixed either.
In conclusion, the learner should prioritize learning over seeking approval. One should not worry about what other people say but should ensure that they develop their brains and mind through learning. People who have embraced the growth mind set have the ability to tune their brains to work and learn. Success may not be gotten at first attempt but could be achieved through a process. Set goals also help achieve the end process. It is important to enjoy learning and its processes. We should learn well and avoid learning fast.

Negotiation Case Study
Negotiation requires a mixture of diverse skills and professionalism as the negotiating process is frequently faced with problems. Some of this conflict are realized due to poor communication that could be as a result of barriers to communication such as one party does not want to hear or take keen interest in what is being said (Fisher, Ury, & Patton, 2011). One of the recurring challenge faced by negotiators is when the negotiation process is halt when the parties involved are not ready to understand each side story and concurrently fueled by the lack of the negotiator facilitating the negotiation process unprepared.
Lack of patience could lead to disgruntled party in whom he/she has no patience for the negotiation process which could lead to rapture of derogatory remarks, criticism and sarcasm (Ericson, Baranek, & Chan, 2009). Last but not least, the negotiation process could be faced with rigidity and the negotiator being biased towards one party. This is wrong as the process is supposed to be flexible and fair.
The reality is that most of the negotiators usually over rate their own shortcomings. In order to increase one's strength as a negotiator and be able to hold one's position confidently with integrity, then negotiators should take into account and be aware of their weakness and support them by being in check of any assumptions that he/she may have towards the party, expand their alternatives by negotiation involving more than two negotiators (Safran, & Muran, 2000). Their positions could be supported very well in regard to serenity of the situation.
The fixed pie (win-lose situation) involves the use of the matter at hand and distributing proportions at hand as their limited distribution to go around (Cummins, 2016). Such scenarios of people eating pizza, at some point the pieces will reduce to a few pieces that cannot feed everyone and the party have to settle in doing away with the last piece in favor to his/her partner. The negotiation takes into consideration multiple issues, sharing, problem solving and bridge relationships. The best negotiation process would be integrative negotiations.
Conclusion
The instructor role as a negotiating instrument is by planning and preparing information through private investigation of the matter at hand, being confident, have a good communication that really helps in determining party's interests and creating solutions that will settle the conflict. In ditto to above statement, the instructor must be able to control emotions involved, by commanding and managing reasonable authority. The negotiator should understand the consequences of his ruling and the party's process of conflict by tabling all issues and understand priorities.

A Moment when Kindness Guided my Actions
During my childhood, my family barely had enough to support our well-being. My parents struggled to give us our necessities. Most of the times I felt bad about our situation because I was not in a position to help my parents and my siblings. However, despite the hardships, I did not give in life and on my dreams. I wanted to become a nurse. During my free times, I used to study and also coach my younger siblings with their studies. Fortunately, I managed to complete my education and graduated with distinction. When I found a job with one of the district hospitals in Los Angeles, I figured it was an opportunity for me give back the society. I wanted to help not only my siblings but also other children from economically disadvantaged families.
When I received my first salary, I decided to make a partnership with a well-developed children feeding program in my neighborhood because this is the only way I thought I could reach out to many children as possible. I used the little amount that saved from my salary to help my parents and my younger siblings meet their daily needs. My very first instinct was to help other poor children overcome their state and grow to appreciate their lives. I also wanted to feel that the society has not abandoned them. Through this program, I have seen many children work hard to achieve their dreams because of the support I gave them together with my team members. Every time I look some of these children, I am happy because I know that I helped to shed into somebody's life. I am proud of my decision to help others overcome their poor situations. I have also received appreciation from many other for my acts of kindness.

Thinking does not Imply Subjugating
The article,Thinking does not imply subjugating by Steven Pinker focuses on the human power to use reason. Steven further interrogates how the process of reasoning is achieved. He notes that the whole human nature of reasoning and having some belie alone and cannot be transferred to any machines. He notes that beliefs are related to information that we are fed with, thinking is all about computing and calculating and motivation is closely related and influenced by feedback and control.
Also, he puts into consideration the fact that man as natural as he is. He brings into light Charles Darwin and his presupposition about the belief in religion and spirits and how Turing later came to contest it insisting on more reasoning when it comes to dealing with religion and spiritual matters.
When it comes to computations and calculations he acknowledges the fact that there exists machines and technology that accurately carry out computations. However, it is only in theory that it seems possible for these machines to outdo human capability.
Previously, the technology experts anticipated that with time the technology would outdo the humans but apparently none of that has happened. Still they are the same experts who were of the opinion that with time there would be so much in the technological advancements with underwater cities and other dream technology but still that has not come to been. They speculate the possibility of an Al system outdoing the man that builds it but this could be theoretically dreamt of but practically impossible. Steven suggests that man, its maker could predict such a scenario early enough and curb it accordingly. He questions the ability of the robots to reason.
Sam Harris, the author ofCan We Avoid a Digital Apocalypse questions the ability of artificially built machines to possess the same intelligence as man. Harris says that that would only be possible if the human brain is emulated in all aspects, which is impossible as even humans cannot source their intelligence. The author further goes ahead to show how machines could do all the work and render the human population unemployed. This would mean all those that provide labor would die in poverty as those they work for flourish in making more money as the production would even increase. He also overrules the possibility of having a super intelligent technology that would control itself without being programmed.
According to me, I think Steven presented his casein a better way than Harris. He managed to project the fact that there was no way that technology could outsmart its maker without being controlled. He also brings into light the naturalistic unconscious power of man to reason.
With the growing and developing technology, man is becoming lazier and lazier each day. There are new inventions in every sector of the human life. These inventions concern technology that is mandated to set man free from using his energy in working or in any other activity that would require him to use his energy. Unfortunately, the more man evades using his energy, the more technology is taking over his jobs in the various sectors and this leaves him with no jobs and without means to fend for himself.
Keeping in mind that man since time immemorial has always had an impact or an activity in the production of any goods or services, the rate at which technology is taking over his role is alarming. In the future it seems that robots will take over each and every aspect of the human life and human beings will be rendered useless. To be specific, in industries these robots and other machineries will have to do all the work and only a few of those that own these firms will be benefiting as the production will be fast, accurate and will have increased. All the rest who have been replaced by these machines will have ultimately lost it in life, leaving the bosses and their robots to run the world.
This would further imply that with time there will be no market for the goods these bosses and the robots produce. This would be caused by a situation whereby every other person will not have any purchasing power whatsoever and thus even the many goods that these bosses produce unless they exchange with other bosses, they will not have anywhere to take them. Soon they will as well be faced out of business and will have no role in the world.
In such a situation, there will be increased enmity in the human race and without the goods and services then it would mean the humans have no role to play on earth. This situation would be more complex as only the programmers of these machines would be at work but eventually it is these machines and robots that will be left to rule the world. This also is not important as the machines need to be programed and with the facing out or the extinction of the human race then it would mean no life on earth.
These machines even if they would free the laborers from the enslavement of their masters who would utilize the last drop of their blood and energy to facilitate them to make the large sums of money that they make, it would mean something else when they are rendered jobless and without anywhere to depend on. This case would change in case there was invention of new industries which most likely could not be the case. Even though man is considered to be very creative and innovative there could be a huge gap between the time of entry and overtaking of this technology and the time when the inventions are put in practice.
Also, it is very important to note that in any production process the role that a society plays is very huge and can never be taken for granted. It is the society that provides market and also all ideas of improvement. If sidelined, then this could never happen. Man is a social being unlike this technology. The technology even in its efficiency can never produce and consume the products by itself. It is not that creative. Also, it is still the society that provides and invents the raw materials to be used in the production process. Therefore it is factual that the technology can never work alone. Man should indeed take charge of the future failure to which the result could be fatal as he will lose it and he is to blame himself for every bit of every stage of allowing too much technology.

Health Reform
Institution
The healthcare industry has been an interesting profession for quite a long time now. However, there have been adverse changes in the technological advances, care delivery and increased expectations of patients and this has brought the growth and evolution of the role of nurses in the healthcare industry. The changing trends in the profession require the nurse to be highly updated for effective assessment and treatment of the patients in the health institutions. The nursing profession has been known to involve excellent clinic skills, critical thinking, and compassion for the profession. Significant changes have therefore grown in regard to the workplaces of the nurses and the care delivery to the patients. This paper, therefore, seeks to educate nurses on the nursing practice as well as its expectations on the growth and change of the profession. Some of the quite relevant trends in the healthcare system that will be discussed in this paper include quality patient outcomes and initiatives, technology, care delivery to patients, patient changes, and the push for continued education for the nurses.
Quality patient outcomes and initiatives into the healthcare system
Nurses directly care for most patients in the health institutions, which is a clear critical role for the improvement of the delivery of quality care as well as improvement in the patient outcomes. Besides, the initiatives being made for the pay for performance has as well impacted positively by the profession. Satisfaction rates and safety records can easily be availed through the internet to be accessed by consumers who are interested in quite detailed information in any of the hospitals in the Department of Health and Human Service in the United States. This easy information access by the patients or rather just the interested individuals has changed the roles of nurses particularly in the system of healthcare delivery, for instance, there is massive dependency on the nurses to be able to screen any potential risk and help the healthcare facilities not to make mistakes especially at this time when there is no pay for preventable errors by the Medicare. Health systems and hospitals in the country have implemented thetriple aim to ensure improved quality of healthcare services with better patient experiences and lower costs (Sahay et. al, 2015). Nurses, therefore, are required apply a quite complex knowledge while caring for the patients and be highly prepared with emerging competencies in areas such as evidence-based practice, leadership, and collaboration. Massive changes in the healthcare system of the United States have made nurses be important sources of expertise and partnership. Sustaining and improving the patient outcomes have been brought into the healthcare system through the elements such as meaningful use, value-based purchasing, and the Affordable Care Act. This is important for the quality of the services provided by the nurses.
Technology
Healthcare technology has been advancing rapidly and requires nurses to remain highly sharper so as to keep up with its pace. For instance, there have been innovations such as patient simulators of high technology, and monitoring devices that have become quite common in health institutions and hospitals as well as the electronic keeping of records. However, each health facility has different levels and types of technology, nurses are required to be quite adaptable in learning the new equipment and systems. Besides, electronic communication by use of text apps and the hospital paging tools have enabled nurses to respond efficiently to the needs of the patients. There are apps that are designed to alert nurses in case they are running late to provide treatments to the patients, thus there is quality management in hospitals (Wall, 2014). Therefore, the innovative methods have greatly improved life for the health care nurses through collaborations and provision of immediate access to the quite critical information of the patients. Patient outcomes have as well been improved though physiological parameters that use evidence-based protocols. Therefore, nurses have constantly been involved in decision making on the purchases of the facility technology due to the vital role that technology plays in the quality of the healthcare service. However, the improved technology risks private information of the patients particularly when patient data is shared recklessly, and nurses have to always remain vigilant.
Care delivery
The change in nursing practice has brought facilities such as retail clinics and surgery centers have improved the healthcare service for patients outside the healthcare and hospital settings. Therefore, there has been a creation of better job opportunities for nurses outside the hospital setting rather than just depending on hospitals for employment (Klich, 2015). Nurses have the opportunity to make good use of their skills outside the hospital setting particularly in nursing homes, ambulatory care, and home health. Nursing has evolved and patients get visited by patients in their homes and the community interacts well with the nurses.
Colleagues'feedback
My colleagues feel that technology has led to the destruction of paternalism which used to form the most critical role in the healthcare. Technology has so far empowered patients into controlling their care and voicing out their health needs. Therefore, the dynamic of the patient-provider has changed positively with the improved technology. Besides, my nurse colleagues believe that the internet has provided massive opportunities for nurses all over the world where patients have been able to control long-term conditions and creation of new avenues for offering support to peers. The internet can empower and confuse patients at the same time, and the technology has not yet reformed the healthcare system.

Why USC
My happiness is beyond the decision to choose to study at University of Southern California (USC). It has been the best decision so far in my life. USC has vast connections like Fox News, JP Morgan, Google, and ESPN among them are companies that reach out for an internship to USC students in post-grad careers and opportunities. Opportunities are high in working on projects with Malaysian, Cameroonian or Australian or even live close to Sri Lanka-born student, Milanese or South American. High chances for cultural values are also in USC. One thing I like about USC is the location; USC is in the central region of Los Angeles.
USC psychology department has some of its faculty recognized internationally and had highest student populations in the US. Psychology department scholars engage in ground-breaking studies, exploring basic academic queries and getting their work bearing on nearly society's most demanding needs. The psychology department in USC deals in teaching graduate in areas like Clinical Science, Brain and Cognitive Science, Quantitative Methods, Developmental Psychology and Social Psychology.
As a psychology major, I will be required to complete Marshall Prerequisites before applying the second degree. The USC has the most qualified and dedicated tutors. Undecided scholars new to USC or those that have difficulty in academic can get in touch with Academic Counsellors to try to identify the challenges and obstacles to academic success. Students with disabilities are provided with Disability Services and Programs (DSP) services essential to enable them to develop the maximum potential in academic and dignity to work self-reliant. USC also has extracurricular such as self-defence, horse riding, and tennis classes just to name a few. Anyway, most Trojans would not shame their choice to appear to USC.

Why do O’Connor People with Animal
O'Connor likes to use images of creatures in her characters to draw the attention of animalistic characteristic in them. Similar to animals these figures do reflect about their past events and life. Grandmother herself is full of the past, in some instance, we hear her reflecting on her past value, sentiments, and courtships. She never at any time touch on morally questionable factors of her early life. She comes from a background that is similar to those who own plantations or at least share the same experience.
Coming from a family of slave owners, she did carry some moral weight to be resolved, but she does not go beyond her sentimentality. She remembers where she could sit with her suitor after strolling around the garden and loses herself when she hears the sweet "Tennessee Waltz" playing, and she says that the tune always made her desire dance. The fatal trip is incited because the grandmother wanted to check on an old plantation house she had visited once and see if the arbors were still there. She has a past that is full of trouble, and her sentimentality protects this uncomfortable reality. The history can be frightening because it comes with the responsibility of change, but she engages it in a meaningful way but instead takes her moral baggage as a monkey treating his fleas, biting each one carefully in his teeth the same case you would do a delicacy, at Red Sammy Butts Restaurant.
The animalistic traits in our characters manifest in that they do not keep in mind the meaning and principles of their actions. The father puts on a shirt with an image of a parrot, which can imitate the words but does not understand the meaning. Despite being similar in form to the actual meaning, it still makes a plain statement because it does not grasp the hidden meaning, it's just a formal likeness. The same way, the characters operate with no moral or intellectual principal only acting like animals towards immediate pleasure.
Mary Grace was reading a book called Human Development which is a psychology text often used in a psychology class in college. O'Connor use of it in the story is ironic. Mary Grace is suffering from emotional instability and reacts contrary to the calm manner in which her mother was to the hypocrisy and prejudice that is being portrayed by Mrs. Turpin. She throws the book at Mrs. Turpin after cracking and then physically attacking her. After being subdued, Mrs. Turpin suspects that the girl had a message for her, she moves closer, and she is called a warthog and that she should go back to hell where she came from.
Flannery O'Connor believed in religion and its power to give life a new purpose. She also felt the presence of God, and her fictions allegorically portray characters who find themselves transforming to the catholic mind and even though the protagonist Mrs. Turpin. The author also seems to suggest that Mrs. Turpin religious hypocrisy is not helping her especially when she addresses people as dirty,'' ugly,' white-trash,' nigger' demonstrates it.
