History of the Egyptian Football Game

The History of the Egyptian Football Game has distinguished from the past to the present. In earlier history, the Egyptian national team was known around the world as the Pharaohs who are governed by the EFA otherwise known as the Egyptian Football Association. The Ancient Egyptians played the game of football which was recorded on the walls of the temples and discovered by "Herodt" when he visited Egypt in 1882. Egyptians played football when they organized matches with the British occupation team's in 1882. Today, the Egyptian team has participated in the World Cup twice, in 1990 and in 2018, both were held in Russia. In the past, the team coach depended only on local players with limited skills because there was no money to get new players, but now there are a lot of funding campaign and marketing and a lot of sponsor companies for every club, which pays for players to sale and transfer them to other clubs in other counties. While Egypt was under the administration of the British, there were two Egyptian footballs clubs only based in Cairo, these two clubs, still here to this day are Football Club Zamalek that represent the military and the foreign administrators and the elite, and the opposing Cairo Club who the opposing represents. There are 18 clubs that compete in the Egyptian Premier League as of the 2017–2018season.

In the past, The Cairo International Stadium was the only stadium in Egypt which who located at Cairo the capital city. Now there are more than four stadiums in Cairo only such as Mubarak International Stadium, Arab Contractors Stadium, Alsalam Stadium,30 June stadium. For training in the past, The Egyptian Football Association's Only who is very basic equimented option for training the players just one or two doctors for the whole team. Today the Egyptian Football Association has announced a partnership with the British genetics company to incorporate DNA testing for players' fitness regimes. the media, In Early Egypt was just the radio that people listened just once a few people could attend. Now, the media uses the technology provided to make the game more attractive to the people. Example, people have access to more technology to watch the game. There are a lot of options to watch the match either live or replay, also we can watch on Television, computers, cell phone, iPad, or even as a recorded video. In conclusion, the history of the Egyptian Football Game took a lot of developed from the past to present such as the name of the Football Team from Pharaohs to the Egyptian Football Association, the numbers of Stadium, in the past there was just two Clubs. But now there are four Stadiums, the training facility with using modern technology, the media provided with more options to access to the Football Game.
