Ludwig Van Beethoven was born December 1770, in Bonn, Germany. He died at the age of 56. Beethoven lived in Bonn Germany with his Mom, Dad, and seven siblings. His Father tried to make Beethoven a child prodigy, like Mozart but did not succeed. Beethoven had become Neefe's assistant as court organist. Gottlob Neefe was a German opera composer and conductor. Neefe was born in Chemnitz, Saxony. In 1783 Beethoven was appointed continuo player for the Bonn Opera. Maximilian Francis sent Beethoven to Vienna to study with Mozart. Beethoven remained in Bonn for the next five years. Beethoven had only Mozart as a teacher. Mozart didn't have to teach him very much though. Beethoven composed in several musical genres and for a variety of instrument combinations. His works for symphony orchestra include nine symphonies and about a dozen pieces of occasional music. Beethoven's most famous pieces that he had written are Symphony No. 9 in D Minor, Eroica Symphony, Symphony No. 5 in C Minor, Op. 67, Symphony No. 7 in A Major, Op. 92, Symphony No. 6 in F Major,Moonlight Sonata,Archduke Trio, andEmperor Concerto. Don't only practice your art, but force your way into its secrets, for it and knowledge can raise men to the divine ( Biography.com 1) This is a famous quote from Beethoven. Symphony No.5 took place on December 22, 1808, at a famous concert which also featured the premieres of Symphony No.6 and Piano Concerto No.4. In the fall of 1801, at age 30, Beethoven revealed for the first time the secret of his increasing hearing loss and stated in a letter that he would "seize Fate by the throat; it shall not bend or crush me completely." It has not been difficult to relate such statements directly to his music. No one has counted how many times Beethoven's 5th symphony has ever been played. I assume that his symphony has been played over 1000 times a year. My favorite part of symphony N.5 is the beginning of the song. The Symphony No. 5 in C minor Beethoven was written between 1804 and 1808. It is one of the best-known compositions in classical music, and one of the most frequently played symphonies. Beethoven's Fifth Symphony is in four movements. Probably the most well-known piece of western music in the world. Beethoven started sketching out ideas for his 5th symphony in 1804. He finished the final draft in 1808, four years after he started. The fifth symphony was at the end of a lllooonnnggg concert packed with lots of other new Beethoven pieces. By the time the fifth started, the audience was too tired and cold from the icy winter outside to listen properly.
