Great Musicians Worldwide

There are many great musicians worldwide, but how many stands the test of time? Billy Joel says “I think music in itself is healing. It's an explosive expression of humanity. It's something we are all touched by. No matter what culture we're from, everyone loves music." Some of the greatest musicians are Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Elvis Presley, Bob Marley, TuPac, Madonna, Bon Jovi, and Frank Sinatra. All these musicians have one thing in common. They are all remembered and well known. Elvis is named the king of rock and Michael is known as the king of pop. Madonna is called the queen of pop. TuPac rapped about his struggle and Bob Marley sang about his. They all had a meaning behind their songs and that is the reason they were all remembered and considered the greatest of all time. There are some current musicians that can match these greats and it is said; they are going to be well known and remembered in the future.

Past musicians have made some great accomplishments. Bon Jovi is a well known and favorite rock star. Michael is known by almost everybody for his unique voice and interesting complex. Whitney Houston is known for hitting really high notes and Madonna was the drag queen of the music business. Elvis has a unique voice as well. Bob Marley was in jamaica, but he was well known for singing about the hardships of the jamaicans in america and TuPac was rapping about the hardships in the hood. They all sang/rapped about their struggles and what is happening in america. They all were connected in that aspect.

Current well-known musicians are tremendous. Musicians such as Beyonc©, Lady Gaga, Eminem, and a few others have won at least 3 Grammys and have been nominated for more. Eminem is known as the king of Hip-Hop. They all have accomplished so much in their careers and they are still going. Eminem’s most recent song is from 2018, Beyonc©’s is also from 2018, and Lady Gaga’s is the end of 2018. This proves they are all still making great music that is also hitting the top 25 billboard. Current musicians can compare to the past great musicians. Musicians need 10 things to become great: authenticity, transparency, must be compelling, clarity, conviction, connection, warmth, bravery, uniqueness, and humility. Beyonc©, Rihanna, Lady Gaga, John Legend, and Eminem contain most, if not all, of those qualities.

These select few musicians will remain well known in the future. Because of their accomplishments and well known songs, they will all have songs move on to the future and played. Until they are outgrown by new artists. Elvis and Bob Marley are rarely played on most radio’s, and the popular musicians will face the same fate. They will be on the oldies playlists and radio stations’ tracks. Current musicians are just as good as old ones, just in their different way.

Past musicians are amazing people. Current well known musicians as well. They can compare to the past great musicians, and will remain well known in the future. The past musicians can and will be remembered in the future; just like the past musicians remembered today.
