Young Man who wasn’t Part

Just think. A young man who wasn't part of any kind of group in high-school. And was known by classmates as a lonier(Scott Foresman, 1987).A young man who would grow up to become the Co-founder of Apple. And became worth just a little more than 1 million at the age of 23. Steve Jobs, a leader and a believer that all things are possible.

Do you want to spend the rest of your life selling sugared water, or do you want a chance to change the world(Steve Jobs, 1983). Steve just didn't want to change the world, he wanted to be a leader in the world. Since steve was a kid he seemed to stand out. He tended to resist Authority figures and didn't exactly like school. His father (Paul) blamed the school he was attending for not placing enough challenge on his brilliant son(Paul Jobs, 1961). Steve wanted the challenge. He wanted to stand out, and he wanted to be a leader.Steve was one of his own. But he needed more. Steve then skipped the 5th grade. And was often bullied(Isaacson Walter, 2011) in the 6th grade. Which forced the family to move and switch schools.

Though Steve has just moved. He was able to bounce back. He was in a better school district and he was in a better neighborhood. The neighborhood had more friends for steve to interact with. And it was heavily populated with more engineers. This is were steve got his first summer job by Bill Hewlett. After asking for parts in a electronics project. This is were steve met fellow electronics hobbyist Bill Fernandez. Who later introduced him to Steve Wozniak. (A future partner to steve). Steve Wozniak then in 1973 designed a classic video game named PONG(Steve Wozniak, 1973). Wozniak who then just finished the game gave it to steve jobs. Who took it to Atari, inc and they then gave steve a job thinking he made it. Atari Co Founder Nolan Bushnell later described Steve Jobs as Difficult but valuable(Nolan Bushnell, 1973) and he was very often the smartest guy in the room, and he would let people know that(Nolan Bushnell, 1973).

Wozniak and Jobs Designed and developed the first Apple computer (Apple 1) with Ronald Wayne in 1976. And that's when it just begin to take off. In 1977 Wozniak and Jobs Introduced the Apple 2 computer. Then in 1984. Apple Introduced the macintosh, which was conceived by early Apple employee Jef Raskin. But due to not enough sales in the Macintosh. Led to the leaving Steve Wozniak. And shortly after Jobs left with 5 senior employees in his venture. Then jobs funded 7 million into the NeXT Inc. In 3 years with the help of billionaire Ross Perot who invested a lot into the company.

Then they Introduced the NeXT computer. Then NeXT workstations in 1990 and the NeXT cube in the same year. The NeXT computer was shown to the world in what was considered Job's comeback event(Owen Linzmayer, 1985). Then in 1996 Apple announced the buying of NeXT for 427 million. And named Jobs de facto chief of Apple and later the title iCeo. Then later branching out to soon introduce the ipod, itunes digital music software and the itunes store. Then on June 29,2007 Apple announced the iphone. But during this high jobs was diagnosed with a cancer(tumor in his pancreas).And on January 17, 2011 Steve resigned from his position of iCeo. Steve worked with Apple until the day before the day he died on October 5, 2011 at his home with his wife a kids.

Right now you might be thinking to yourself, holy cow steve jobs was an amazing person. But steve would often just want things his way. In ways like what Ed Catmull had said while working at Pixar with Jobs. In all the 26 years with Steve, Steve and I never had one of these loud verbal arguments and it's not my nature to do that. ... but we did disagree fairly frequently about things. ... I would say something to him and he would immediately shoot it down because he could think faster than I could. ... I would then wait a week ... I'd call him up and I give my counter argument to what he had said and he'd immediately shoot it down. So I had to wait another week, and sometimes this went on for months(Ed Catmull, 2014), How could you work with a guy like this. He always had to have it his way.

Steve Jobs, a leader and a believer that all things are possible. Steve wanted more and he wanted to stand out. He was a believer in all things. Likewise he believed that all things are possible. What a man and what an engineer. What a life. Let's give some credit to this legend. Steve Jobs.
