Suicide is the second leading cause of death in the United States, for those between the ages of 15 and 34. If you are unsure of what depression is, it's having “feelings of severe despondency and dejection”. Donating a $1 to teen lifeline, can make a difference for those who are suffering with depression because this organization offers assists to everyone that’s suffering, which proves whatever helps because they help assist everyone who is going through tough situations/issues. You would be helping them to continually make a difference, and it’s a quick process too. Teen Lifeline helps everyone get through tough situations.

This is true because of the goal they have which is to help everyone, no matter what. As it states on their website, “No matter what the reason, when you feel like giving up DON’T. You are not alone. We are here to listen and help.” (anonymous, 2019, pg 1). This is their goal and what they try to spread so that there’s a difference in our society. They will be able to continue helping people through issues with your donations. You would be helping them continue doing what they are already doing for society.

If you don’t they won't be able to pay for service bills, so if people don’t donate they can continue having a way to be communicated or communicate with others that need help. As it states on the Teen Lifeline website “Your donations allow us to empower our youth and provide a connection of hope to teens in crisis!” (Teen Lifeline,2019, pg 1). Donations will go to helping improve the way they communicate with others, and to getting their name out there so people know about them. They will continue helping for a long time, and it just takes a quick 2-3 minutes to do. It’s a quick process to donate money. If you think about it, it will only take you about 2-3 minutes to do especially if you are doing it on a mobile device. As it states in Text to donate “Collecting donations of any size billed to credit and debit cards is as simple as instructing donors to text a keyword to a five-digit short code.” (Mobile causes, 2019, pg 1).

If you donate online from the comfort of your home, it won’t take much time from your daily activities. It does take much from your day to give a quick donation, because who now you might be helping them help someone through something they are going through. Donating to Teen Lifeline is quick to do, they help everyone, and you would be helping them help others by contributing to them. Teen Lifeline helps anyone get through tough times or issues going on no matter how big or how small they are. You would be helping them continue helping others. It’s quick and easy to donate. Due to these ways you can and will be helping society you should donate to Teen Lifeline.
