There are three kinds of motives to serve the death penalty. The U.S. government didn’t have a stable and reliable jail for the longest amount of time in the U.S. for threatening criminals. A province or town prison was only fit for brief stays and country prison wasn’t much better. This different to capital penalty is a actual chance where most people think that being in a solitary cell for your life is a dreadful penalty. David Von Drehle states that, “Capital punishment is an expression of the principle that certain extreme boundaries cannot be crossed—that some crimes are so terrible that death is the only punishment sufficient to balance the scales.” Meaning some crimes that prisoners execute may be so serious where they should go through the death penalty depending on how serious the crime was.

Morality & Evidence:

Most of the people that are sentenced to go through the death penalty in America is usually for the people that have commited unforgivable crimes. The capital penalizing structure helps to deter the unforgivable criminals from the short time sentences. Sentencing killers could fail to preserve fairness because when the penalty is staying in jail for a long period of time, it can be unfair to the heinousness of the fault.

Death penalty is a just punishment for crimes committed against the rights to life, freedom and safety of victims.

Every human being has their own human rights to live a calm life and released from from harm. Criminals like perpetrators who commit crimes such as rape, assault, or murder have no consideration for any humans existence and others belongings. People that commit these crimes and violate someone’s life are brought to court and are expected to pay for their crimes. Someone who is for capital punishment may mention free will while they are given the rights to do stuff in their own free will.

If someone murders someone else, they have given up their human rights, including the one to stay alive themselves

According to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, Right #3 is the Right to Life. Meaning every human being has the right to life, liberty, and security of a person. Right #9, Ban on Artribary Detention: No one shall be subjected to arbitrary arrest, detention or exile. Meaning Everyone has the right to liberty and security of person. No one shall be subjected to arbitrary arrest or detention. No one shall be deprived of his liberty except on such grounds and in accordance with such procedure as are established by law.
