Managing Emotions in the Field of Nursing
Managing emotions in the field of nursing is an important attribute to possess. Nursing comes with the emotional stress that comes with dealing the feelings of patients who are seeking health care. The trauma is associated with the turmoil and anguish of pain or the emotional instability in patients who are trying to cope with the extent of their sufferings. For instance, a nurse dealing with burns has to be there for the patient physically and emotionally which can be a daunting task.
Emotional intelligence is therefore essential in nursing due to the impact it has on the patients and the nurse. A nurse should be able to control overwhelming and stressing emotions around patients. For example, a nurse cannot start crying while treating a child with severe burns. Doing that will only make the patient and his or her parents to panic in such a state. Besides, managing emotions may prevent anger or stress outbursts that may lead to unethical confrontation or poor service to the patient.
The medical fraternity can change the emotions of patients in various ways. For instance, smiling at a patient would make them become less tense and may start cheering up as well. Moreover, interacting with the client in a friendly manner may make them more receptive to accepting interactions and small talk. For example, Damiani's Mexico theme event for the patient. Through her warm communication, she was able to convince the patient to stay from traveling to Mexico which could have been worse for her health due to advanced cancer.
She was also able to her people to come and see her which enlightened the mood. Lastly, radiating positivity and listening to the patient's needs can make them become less aggressive and start accepting the course of their treatment. A patient who has received the news that they have cancer can be suicidal and sad. However, with positivity from a caretaker, they can also become confident and less angry.

Quentin Tarantino or his Movie “Inglourious Basterds”
The movie Inglorious Basterds, was written and directed by Quentin Tarantino. Tarantino was born in March 27th 1963, he grew to be an actor and later a movie director. His stories are known to be satirical and nonlinear. The author is considered to be the greatest filmmakers of his time. Tarantino started his career in the 1980ss, and his first movie wasmy best friend birthday, among many others that made it to the international limelight. His life was somehow marred with Controversies especially the divorce of his parents and when he dropped out of school at the age of 15, and even during his later years as a filmmaker as many criticized his works terming it too violent and moral suspects (Ben-Youssef 819). His writing style id quite different and he is said to manipulate commodities so as to bring out the plot of his movies, which are action thrillers, animations and comedies.
The plot summary of the movie was set in the year 1941 during the World War 2 in Germany's territory in France. Basterds is a group of soldiers led by Lieutenant Aldo Raine, who recruited Jewish Americans to their service to facilitate their plan to assassinate the Germany leader Adolf Hitler and other Nazis (Mingant 712). This was after it was reported that he killed many Jews. They succeeded with their plan after planning with the theater owner who was eager to avenge the death of his family. The Basterds with the help of Germany undercover agent Bridget Von Hammers mark successfully set the premier on fire killing all Germanys that was in it. This paper is going to look into the movie Inglorious Basterds written and directed by American actor Quentin Tarantino, study its cultural effects and developments, its artifact features and how the setting of the artifact.
The cultural narrative of the creator of the movie is to display evil and ill intentions and acts that characterize the killing, murder of innocent Jews. And the subsequent revenge by the American Jews whose families had been killed by the Nazi regime under Adolf Hitler (Ben-Youssef 819). The creator of the artifact was revengeful in his extracts and the major basis of the movie is to kill Germanys by the Jews with the help of the French and other Germans who had been affected by the war. The cultural narrative of the consumers of the artifact at the beginning of the movie is comical and fictitious. However, it later changes into revenge, as marked by Brad Pitt's remarks at the end of the movieI think this just might be my masterpiece. This gives an impression that the artifact is about revenge of injustices committed.
The movie was acted during the dictatorship leadership of Adolf Hitler under the political party called Nazi Party. During this period German was changed to totalitarianism which was a political system where the government had no limits to its authorities and it was involved in regulating all the aspects in the public and private life if it was possible. This was the worst form of the authoritarianism. In this leadership styles, people had no power and rights for their lives. Under the leadership of Hitler using the Nazi party, there was an elimination of all the political oppositions which led to a consolidation of the power which led to the dictatorship of the Hitler. (Tarantino 250).
The people in society during that period were experiencing racism. Racism was about the anti-Semitism people from German like the Nordic race was taken by the state during the regime of the Hitler as the purest race and Jews were discriminated against. In such society to be a Muslim or opposing there government was a risk as you could be eliminated by Hitler. The Nordic was considered as the master race which was honored by the dictatorship leadership of the Hitler. The people associated with Jewish race and other people outside the master race were undesirable to the state and they were experiencing killings. Those who opposed the government were dealt with them ruthlessly by the state. The people in the society who were involved in opposing the leadership of the Hitler suffered imprisonment and killings. Christians were subjected to the suppression and education and work for the women were involved in the curtailing. This led to people in the society during the regime of the Hitler to suffer more as a result of dictatorship. As a result, the society was ready to revenge for the killings where the movie inglorious and bustard was created to advocate for such actions in Germany in the year 1941(Berenbaum 450). The regime of Hitler came to an end after the end of the Second World War when the society was relieved from the dictatorship leadership.
The cultural artifact was created during the World War 2, which took place in the year 1941 and at the same time the Nazi leader by the name Adolf Hitler was killing the Jews branding them unwanted people in Europe (Mingant 712). The historical events that took place during that time such as the world war and the holocaust together with other major atrocities in Europe might have inspired the creator of the artifact to bring forth the story. Additionally the creator was inspired to bring forth the picture of revenge that never took place but many would have wished for.
The cultural artifact had its greatest impact in Europe, especially in Germany and parts of Russia. These were parts where the Jews had populated the most (Bryant 192). The World War 2 had its impact in Europe as well.
The artifact of the inglorious bustard movie is important for the history in the Germany and territories which were ruled by a chancellor and President Hitler in early 1941. The artifact shows the impact of dictatorship leadership in the German and its impact in which it led to the killing of millions of the people who opposed the dictatorship leadership. The killing was a kind of the genocide which has greatly contributed to the history of Germany. The artifact is significant in portraying how those who opposed the government were suppressed through killings and imprisonment (Berenbaum 450). The killings during the holocaust, the dictatorship leadership, and suppressing of the opposition have been a significant source of history in the world.
The cultural artifact in this movie has a lasting impact on the locals, nations and at global levels. Its impact is political in nature. It has enabled the leadership of the countries to change from the dictatorship leadership and totalitarianism political systems which has a negative impact on the citizens of a given country (Tarantino 250). Nowadays the leadership in the local, national and global levels. The countries in the whole world are emphasizing on the use of the democratic leadership where the citizens have the freedom to participate in the leadership as opposed to dictatorship leadership which has a more negative impact to society.

“Unbowed: a Memoir” by Wangari Maathai
Unbowed is a compelling and inspiring memoir of the first environmentalist African woman to have earned the honor of being awarded a Nobel Peace Prize. Wangari Maathai takes the reader through from her childhood until she becomes a professor. Through her scientific abilities, she identifies environmental degradation and sets on a movement to bring solutions to the problems.
The Environmental
Maathai recognizes the problems of corruption, mismanagement of the environment through deforestation, and oppression. She becomes aware that advocating for a democracy alone would not bring a solution to the deforestation problems. In the due process, she fears for her own life and that of the family (Maathai 67).
Maathai establishes the Green Belt Movement to counter the environmental problem on her land. She sensitized on the issue of government officials owning public lands. She also emphasizes on the protection of biodiversity based on the numerous benefits that biodiversity has on the environment. Biodiversity, for instance, helps to establish a balance in the population as prey animals feed on others. Maathai also participated in the National Council of Woman to motivate women to produce seedlings in a move to protect the forests. This was primarily done to renew the Kenya and the earth as a whole. She appreciated the role of trees that will help make a difference in the world as a whole which is the reason she earned a peace prize.
The author identifies the relationship between the government regime and the environmental degradation. She argues that poor policies are subject to deforestation and other malpractices affecting the environment. The result heavily relies on the innocent citizens. Trees provide the solution for some issues. First, they help the women in the society prepare nutritious dishes. Also, they offer wood for fencing. Trees also assist in binding the soil as well as protection of the watersheds. Most prominent is the fact that trees would help to attract the birds which contribute to enriching biodiversity (Maathai 68). Perhaps the reason that Maathai emphasized on rehabilitating the environment owes to the fact that trees help to establish an environment that nurtures all life.
In this book, Maathai identifies many issues with the environment. She explains that deforestation is the main problem affecting the environment as a whole. As a result, the effects are felt in the whole biological system. For instance, cutting of trees destroys homes for animals which results in driving them out. The result is that some species are missing and continue being at risk if deforestation is not sensitized. But even though, there are other critical components of the government policies. They have equally contributed to the degradation of the environment using the concept of land privatization.
Conclusion
Unbowed: A Memoir is quite an informative book addressing an important issue of environmental degradation. Maathai explains the problems with land policies and practices which creates a ground for more controversy and speculation. Her argument is based on democracy and how it would help improve the environment. However, she cannot find the answers to more complex issues on the general biological systems especially since it has effects on people's livelihood. Although she sensitizes on the conservation of trees, she has to explain a lot more than democracy for efficiency in conserving the environment.

Biomes and Invasive Species
Introductions
Biomes are a group of animals and plants that both have a certain impact on the environments. Biomes are found in the different continent in the world. They are distinct natural populations that have developed as a result of climatic changes. Biomes in some environment have been eliminated due to harsh temperatures, ph. changes, low temperatures, and others climatic condition. These plants an animal tend to lose in the environment because they lack features that can adapt climatic changes in the environment. they are different types of biomes in the environment examples micro biome are those living organism that are smaller mostly unicellular organism example bacterial, fungal and some plant species. They are macro biomes, this is multicellular organism. Biomes can be found in different environment oceans and also in the lands. Examples of biome are the Coral leaf that is found mostly in the oceans and sea.
Coral they are marines species of invertebrates that are the group in the class of Anthozoa. They are mostly found in colony form and most of them are identical. They are found in tropical oceans, most of this organism is known by producing calcium carbonates which result in the formation of the hard skeleton in their body. Most of this species they are genetically identical, they have a poly that its shape is a sac-like. Also, compose of tentacles that cover the mouth, have an exoskeleton that is secreted in the body. The colony of this organism makes a large exoskeleton that is one of the most important characteristics of this organism.
In addition due to harsh climatic changes in the marines environment, this organism have lost, high temperatures and change in Ph. have contributed to the loss of the organism. The coral always survives in the marine that environment temperature is low and in high Ph. due to calcium carbonates. Also due to mining activities and pollutions in the ocean also contributed to the disappearance of the organism (Hutchings, 1986). Some researchers have proven that pollutions in most continents are also the cause of the disappearance.
This organism has a lot of commercial benefit to the human being; they are used in the manufactures of jewelry. Due to the high amount of calcium carbonates which result to skeleton gives the organism demand. This skeleton is removed and used to make jewelry. It also a source of food to the most marine's species example fish which is a source of food to the human being. The coral has been also proven to have a medicinal value to the human being to treat cancer and also the pain. Some researchers have proven that the skeletons of the coral can be used in the bone grafting. This organism despite it disappearance scientist should intervene and develop with a method of how they can be saved and improves its habitat due to its commercial demand to human health.
In conclusions, despite the disappearance of coral due to environmental changes in the sea it has many benefits to the human being. These organisms are used to manufactures jewelry which has a lot of demand in the market. Also production of useful medicines which are used to treat dangerous diseases such as cancer and AID, this organism should be maintained and improves it the marine environment to prevent disappearance.

PICOT Statement Research on Sepsis
Sepsis is a severe, life-threatening complication of infection. It happens when infections in a different area or the body, instead a wound, the GI tract, the GU tract, or wherever germs can grow in the body causes a patient to become very ill. There is sepsis, severe sepsis, and septic shock. Those are the three main ways sepsis can be classified. It all depends on what stage the inflammation was triggered that caused changes and damage to different organ systems, in turn causing organ failure. There are a few key points this writer will list below that helps to summarize sepsis, what it is, early detection, and how to treat it. The PICOT format will be as follows.
Evidence-Based Solution
With early detection of any infection, worsening of the disease can be stopped, or the progression slowed down. Studies have shown that with at least two of the following symptoms and a specific cause, it can fall under sepsis. A) The body temperature of 101 degrees F or below 96.8 degrees F. B) A high rate exceeding 90 beats/minute. C) Respirations of 20 breaths per minute or higher. Recognizing a decrease in urine output, an abrupt change in mental alertness, a decrease in platelet count, or difficulty breathing can all be key in the early treatment of severe sepsis. However, ruling out sepsis early in the patient's hospital stay could nip the worsening of infection in the bud right away. Ruling out sepsis especially on pneumonia patients, abdominal infections, kidney infections, or bloodstream infections is vital early on inpatients visit to decrease the risk of worsening of sepsis upon the patient's hospital stay (Tupchong, Koyfman & Foran, 2015).
Nursing Intervention
Since we are the eyes and ears of the patients, nurses play a huge role in the identification, treatment, and patient teaching in the care of the patient. It is just to name a few. It is up to the nurses to identify the early symptoms of sepsis when a patient has an infection or possible infection, and report them to the doctor immediately. Then it is also up to the nurse to carry out physician's orders, and to closely monitor the patient with sepsis, all while watching for worsening of symptoms and reporting them to the doctor to help the infection to not progress to severe sepsis.
Patient care
Close monitoring of the patient with an infection is essential when it comes to patient care. Monitoring the patient's labs, the patient's signs and symptoms, any open wounds, amongst many more things, is an excellent patient care when it comes to preventing sepsis altogether. Carrying out the doctors'orders such as IV antibiotics, and fluid resuscitation are all ways nurses can help in caring for a sepsis patient. Patient teaching on reporting certain things to the nurse or any healthcare provider is also vital in patient care when monitoring for infection/sepsis.
Health Care Agencies
Most sepsis cases will come in through the emergency room with signs and symptoms of infection, but a lot happens during a patient's hospital stay. For example, if a patient ends up with a line infection in the hospital, such as PICC lines, central lines, or Foley catheters Medicare and Medicaid will not usually reimburse since the disease happened in the hospital. These are preventable cases of infections causing sepsis due to inadequate nursing care.
Nursing Practice
Again, nurses are at the forefront of all hospitalized patient, rather inpatient, outpatient, or emergency room patients. Early detection of the possible primary sources of infection that have been known to cause sepsis is a nursing responsibility or practice. Nurses should be aware of signs and symptoms of sepsis and should be mindful of their hospital's criteria when ruling out sepsis, as well as knowing the policy and practices in treating sepsis. Close monitoring of the patient visually, mentally, and close monitoring of vital signs is essential in the patient's care and treatment. Paying close attention to the doctors'orders and carrying them out is primary in the nursing practice when it comes to infections and sepsis (Khatua, Mishra & Menon R, 2015).
In conclusion despite the inconsistency in related treatment methods and proper timing of the interventions identified through the literature review, all the studies which measured mortality have shown a clinically relevant reduction in mortality of patients with sepsis. EGDT and SRB have proven a significant decrease in mortality and morbidity rates if implemented.

Air Pollution in Canada
Introduction
Air pollution is one of the environmental issues facing communities in Canada. Air pollution problem in Canada arises from the accumulation of airborne compounds and biological matter in the atmosphere that causes harm to human lives, the environment, and the entire Canadian economy. In Canada, the factors that contribute to air pollution include the burning of fossils for energy that is used both domestically and running the industries. Fossil fuels constitute part of Canada's primary source of fuel for Canada's population even though the federal government is cognizant of the consequences that they have on the environment. The air pollution problem in Canada is a persistent problem due to climatic changes, an increase in urbanization, and the continued reliance on motor vehicles as the major source of transport (Wirth, 2000).
The Alberta Oil Sands, (large deposits of bitumen), is the main contributor to Canada's air pollution problem. Therefore, the air quality of Northern Alberta is much poorer than those of other areas with similar population densities. Other urban areas such as Toronto face environmental issues that are related to air pollution because of the industrial chemicals (Taylor & McMillan, 2013). The city of Montreal falls below the World Health Organization's endorsed maximum level of concentration of particulate substances in the air. Other cities such as Hamilton, Laval, Kamloops and Saskatoon also exceed the recommended maximum level of particulate matter in the air. The province of Quebec was considered the leading source of emission of fine particulate substances from the human activities in Canada, most of which arise from heating wood (Lavigne, Villeneuve & Cakmak, 2012).
History of Air pollution in Canada
Sulphur oxides were the first of the Criteria Air Contaminants (CACs) that received noteworthy attention from an environmental viewpoint. The scientific research studies in the 1970s decade started linking Sulphur dioxide to the acidification of the marine life forms in North America to show that long-range transit of Sulphur oxides was possible. Acid rain, which was caused mainly by Sulphur dioxide, was the main air pollution issue in Canada from during the 1970s and 1980s (Heck & Taylor, 2012). The first major domestic and international agreements on air issues in North America thus focused on issues of air pollution caused by Sulphur oxides and acid rain. However, prior to the domestic and international agreements on Sulphur oxides and acid rain in the 20th century, the Trail Smelter Case made sure that the issue of air pollution became a documented problem in Canada as early as the year 1896 when the first smelting plant was established (Taylor & McMillan, 2013).
As the smelter developed over the course of time, the locals started protesting over the smoke clouds, which led to the construction of a 100-meter-tall stack in 1920 to diffuse the gases further down the Columbia River Valley. This led to the damage of vegetation and crop cover on the United States side of the border, which was about 20 kilometers away (Heck & Taylor, 2012). Ultimately, the protests by farmers and residents of the state of Washington in America persisted so much that Franklin Roosevelt, the President of the US at the time, wrote a letter directly to Richard Bennett, the Prime Minister, who was the Canadian Prime Minister at the time. A special tribunal was thus set up to evaluate whether the Trail Smelter would be required to stop wreaking havoc to the State of Washington in the coming future (Unsworth & Ormrod, 2013).
Morris Katz, a chemist from the National Research Council, was required to examine the Trail Smelter Case from a technical viewpoint and his effort on the impacts of the smelter plumes on the vegetation cover national recognition. The special tribunal that was set up to handle the case reported its discoveries in the year 1941 in a momentous decision. It stated that no state had the right to use or allow the use of its land in a way that caused injury by smoke plumes to the land of another nation (Heck & Taylor, 2012). Both Canada and the US agreed to the outcome of the study, and 428,000 dollars was compensated to the farmers who were affected (Taylor & McMillan, 2013). Using a Sulphur recapture and an Air Quality Management system, the issue was partially solved. Another industry was created to change the waste Sulphur oxides to sulfuric acid and fertilizers. Presently, the Trail Smelter recovers close to 91 percent of the Sulphur dioxide that would have been released into the atmosphere. Even though the industry created to recover the dissipated Sulphur dioxide did no mark the end of the situation, it set several precedents for air quality management (Stern, 2014).
Stakeholders Involved
In October 2012, the ministers of environment excluding Quebec agreed to the implementation of the country-wide Air Quality Management System (AQMS) that was an all-inclusive approach to reduce the amount of air pollution in Canada. AQMS is a result of an unprecedented partnership by the federal, provincial, and territorial governments and stakeholders, who have a duty to implement the system. Even though Quebec offers support to the goals of AQMS, it would not implement the System as it includes the federal industrial emission necessities that embody the Quebec clean Air regulation. However, Quebec works in collaboration with the other stakeholders in the development of other components of the system, most notably the air zones (Canadian Council of Ministers of the Environment, 2014).
Apart from the environment ministers, the national industry associations were also part of the stakeholders that take part in solving the Canadian Air pollution problem. First, the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers (CAPP), which represents Canada's oil plants, oil sands, and natural gas plants has a crucial role to play in solving the air pollution problem. CAPP aims at advocating for and enabling economic competitiveness using safe environmental and socially responsible means. Secondly, the Canadian Energy Pipeline Association (CEPA) that help in transporting Canada's unprocessed oil and natural gas from the production regions to the markets all over Canada. The US helps in enhancing operating superiority in the business environment to minimize the dissipation of dangerous fumes (Government of Canada, 2015).
Thirdly, the Canadian Fuels Association (CFA) helps in establishing guidelines for the safe handling of the petroleum products and providing information about the petroleum industry to the public. This helps in reducing the amount of gases emitted into the atmosphere as the public would be educated on the efficient means of using the petroleum products. The fourth association is the Canadian Vehicle Manufacturers Association (CVMA) that represents Canada's largest car manufacturers. CVMA helps to ensure that the motor vehicles are made efficient such that they emit less greenhouse gases to the atmosphere and are safe for the consumers. The fifth association is the Chemistry Industry Association of Canada, which helps in reducing the emissions that lead to climate change and in international accountability (Government of Canada, 2015).
Resolution of the air pollution problem
In 1991, both Canada and the US, in an International Joint Commission, signed the Canadian-US Air Quality Agreement that states that the interstate air pollution can be minimized effectively through joint and coordinated action that provides for the control of the emission of air pollutants in both nations. The Air Quality Agreement set objectives and goals for the mitigation of air pollution that could be attained cumulatively by set dates. In addition, the Air Quality Agreement provided for practical and effective policy tools that could be used to reduce the rate of emissions of the gases (Stern, 2014).
Recent reports have shown that Canada has continued to reduce the emissions of Sulphur dioxide over the past 20 years thereby reducing the rate of acid rain. Ever since the agreement had been signed in the year 1991, the levels of Sulphur dioxide in Canada's atmosphere dropped by about 300 percent. Canada also managed to achieve the set goal of reducing the amount of nitrous oxide from the power plants. The provincial governments have taken more proactive roles in the reduction of air pollution in comparison to the federal governments. For instance, the country-wide Acid Rain Strategy was a collaborative effort of the provinces of Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia and it set the specific standards and limits on the emission of Sulphur dioxide and nitrous oxide produced by the industrial activities. The country-wide Acid Rain was a response to the southeastern Canada having the worst quality of air in the whole of Canada and a high rate of acid rain (Brook, 2010).
Community development strategies
Cities such as Ontario passed pieces of legislation and new regulations that helped to reduce the amount of greenhouse gases emitted into the atmosphere. In the year 1998, the city of Ontario established the Emissions Trading Regulation that established the limitations on the amount of Nitrous and Sulfur oxides into the atmosphere from the electric sector (Taylor & McMillan, 2013). Secondly, the Drive Clean Program was introduced in 1999 to enforce compulsory vehicle inspection and maintenance with the aim of reducing smog. The city of Ontario also enforced a legislation that put a cap on the 7 main industrial sectors and another regulation updated the air standards to improve the environmental standards (Kozio?‚ & Whatley, 2016).
In addition, Ontario passed another directive in 2010 referred to as the Passenger Automobile and Light Truck Greenhouse Gas Emission, which introduced stringent standards for new cars prompting them to stay in line with the US national standards. The city of Quebec, just like Ontario, introduced the stringent standard in relation to air pollution. In the year 2011, Quebec introduced the Clean Air Regulation that enforced strict standards to reduce the emissions of nitrous and Sulphur oxides. The burners that would be used in the industries would have to be efficient such that they emit low levels of nitrous oxides. Moreover, Quebec requires every enterprise to report the emission of certain particulate matter in the atmosphere (Brook, 2010).
Recommendations
Besides the strict laws and regulations that have been passed by the provinces and the federal government, certain measures that every citizen in Canada can participate in to help reduce the amount of greenhouse gases that are emitted into the atmosphere should be applied. First, the residents of any city should use public transportation systems, walk or ride bicycles instead of personal cars when it is safer to do so. Secondly, whenever possible, people Canadian citizens should use the alternatives to the fossil fuel-powered machines and motor vehicles. For instance, fishermen can try using rowboats or sailboats instead of motorboats when fishing, and for domestic purposes, other citizens can use the push lawnmowers instead of the gasoline-powered ones. Thirdly, for anyone buying cars, checking and considering the fuel efficiency when buying a car and keep them properly maintained is crucial. It is also crucial for all the Canadians to plant more trees to enhance the urban forest canopy and improve the quality of air.
Conclusion
The air pollution problem in Canada arises from the accumulation of airborne compounds and biological matter in the atmosphere causing harm to the human lives, the environment, and the entire Canadian economy. The Alberta Oil Sands, which are the large deposits of bitumen, are the main contributor to Canada's air pollution problem, making the air quality of North Alberta poorer than other areas with similar population. The Stakeholders that have been involved in solving Canada's air pollution problem include the environment ministers and the National Industrial Associations. The air pollution issue in Canada has mainly been solved through passing of stringent laws and regulations that control the emission of the greenhouse gases.

Han and Roman Attitude Towards Technology
The world operations have been made easier with significant development in technology. The advent of technology dates to the periods of stone-age tools. Man, during the stone age era applied the use of simple tools in undertaking different activities. However, with the advancement in time and inventions, these simple machines have been turned into more sophisticated items that have made work more manageable Achterhuis (2001). Do all humans have the same attitude towards technology? Are there conflicting ideas and perspectives held on technology? As a response to this, the paper will evaluate and assess the attitudes that Han and Roman have on technology.
Han in the documents holds a favourable view towards technology and holds reverence towards it. On the other hand, the perspective of Roman towards the same is contradictory. As such, the two parties present to us a parallel and conflicting ideas towards technology. Han appreciates the fact that technology has boosted human life. For instance, he outlines the steps in ensuring water preservation which makes good use technology. Han further, clarifies on how technology was applied to improve the efficiency of pestle and mortar. Gonzalez (2015) attests to this mentality on how water hydraulics can be implemented in managing floods and conserving water.
Roman holds a cynical and deplorable perspective with regards to technology. Firstly, Senecca argues that tools were never invented by wise men. His premise creates an argument of what qualifies a wise man? Achterhuis (2001) maintains that the ability of an individual to develop and discover something makes the person wise. Therefore, it is null and void for the Roman to reach such a conclusion.
In conclusion, individuals have the right to an opinion, and this has been practiced by both Han and Roman. However, the truth value of the views can only be evaluated with the evidence produced. In which case Han's views are more convincing as compared to Roman's.

Media and Representation of Black Women
According to Park (165), negative images of the dark women appears two times as often as positive pictures. This fact was reported in the year 2013. Representation of the black woman in the media has raised a great concern as to why in most cases they are used to make representations. This representation remains to support negative stereotype on black women in the media up to date. DuBois opinion is that damnation was tied to decentralization of the motherhood which came from western culture. From the beginning, Gammage reports that the powerful ad the most effective site is the contemporary media that secure black woman from being dehumanized. DuBois, states that this agenda is educated by conceptions of racism, femininity and sexism which came as a result of slavery which the black women fell to be target of. Many view the use of images from black woman to be significant and as and as a result these people neglect the cultural view on the use of the black woman in the media for representation. Media presentation of minorities is not seen to have positive impact. According to Bobo (289), feminists among other scholars greatly criticizes this and advocates for human rights to stop this exploitation. The essay will evaluate pros and cons of using black woman in the media.
By analyzing peoples judgments and views on representation of black women in the media there are a lot of cones. Representation of women in the media have a great effect to the society and even the woman represented in the media. First problem is witnessed in the women. Women object themselves in terms of their body surveillance by adopting such form of unconsciousness, where they look at their bodies external appearance and become highly afraid on how their people or her society will perceive their body physical appearance as sais by Wood (126). Self-objection to ladies results to depression, this problem increases a complete human functioning and my end up resulting to of multiple life tasks. Moreover, women representation in the media can result to sexual dysfunction in accordance to Omaro (437). Which one openly witness or sees people in the act of sex like in pornography, this results to one focusing on one's body and in the process of sexual relations a woman is fully destructed by thoughts about her body instead of having pleasure.
According to Pruis (231) presenting young attractive black women in the media fetches a lot of anxiety to aged women. Critics see that this is featuring men to be entitled on women's bodies this results to objection of young women by men of their age. In addition it is unrealistic expectations by men on how women should behave. This behavior brings in great pain men. Ladies should not expose their bodies to the public through media because this may end up them being despised and facing objection from men as said by Sayce (339). Representations of pornographies in the media increases high chances of sex with violence. This draws interest to sexual desires as this may results to some case of rape. Ladies have been identified to risk their own life so as to attain the media standards.
Despite there being cones in stereotyping black women in the media, there are advantages relating to work of (Browne 59). These disadvantages include, women increases powerful force at the workforce and market places. Women are highly used in various areas at market places where they help in connecting factors in work place like making advertisements and act as connecting factor to the consumption of goods at the workplace by the consumers. Women are very influencing when it comes to the marketing of the product. Making use of the black women in making advertisement attracts big market for the products. Eccles (587) states that women entry to making advertisement is seen as a profession. Advertisement is considered a profession like any other profession like engineering, medicine among others. Some women take advertisement as their profession. These women make use of advertisement as their source of income to cope with their day to day needs and wants. According to women who do advertisements, advertisement is understood in relations of identity (Alvesson 969). Finally making use of black women for advertisement creates more opportunities for them. These women meet with different people in areas they make advertisement as a result some end up getting good jobs and even getting special award. Their portrayal in the media may bring in change of their life style and adopt new lifestyles due to best opportunities they meet in life. At some point gets to be employed as the head of field of making presentations.
In general making use of the black women for media representation has its disadvantages and advantages. This representation in the media came as a result of western culture. At a point it's seen to go against the human rights for example when a woman is presented naked in the media. The disadvantages seen as a result of using black women for media representation outweighs the advantages thus the femininity should come in to defend rights of these women. These media representation not only affect women but also men. Men at a point are influenced after seeing naked women presented in the media. Therefore only the positive presentations that should be presented.

Math IA Game of Theory: War Casualties
Introduction
I have gained valuable skills and knowledge after learning topics on statistics and probability in the syllabus of IB Mathematics Standard Level. However, it has been my desires to come up with an area whereby I can apply the concepts I have learnt in the class to something that was physical and relevant in the world to promote my understanding on the topics. Today, we live in a world where we normally take risks and engage ourselves in many choices where we have to make an important decision. This situation made me think of a current challenge that has emerged between America and North Korea. There has been conflicts and tension that has been developed because of a dangerous test of missiles by North Korea that is capable of destroying many from a far distance.
After revising the topics again, I realized that there must be various actions that both countries can plan to take. As a result, I had to figure out the consequences that would occur when America attack North Korea but North Korea is not attacking America, North Korea attacks America but America is not attacking North Korea and when both countries attack each other. In these situations, we can apply probability to determine the result of each outcome.
Aim of exploration
My main goal in the investigation is applied a probability game that will use Geogebra outside the lesson environment. The analysis will assist in solving an equation that will aid in producing a value that will have to mean in the activities of the world. It will create will solve and provide an answer to the question that is happening today, instead of solving the problems in the syllabus.
Overview of game theory and Probability
Game theory enables us to understand models of mathematics that will involve cooperation and conflict between intelligent rational decision-makers. In this experiment, we will apply real-world challenges of warfare between America and North Korea. On the other hand, the probability is one of the branches of mathematics where the possibility of an event to occur can be evaluated. Numerical measures ranging from 0 and 1 are used in the field of probability. Mostly, 0 is usually used to indicate the impossibility while 1 can be used to highlight the certainty of an event to happen.
In the field of probability, there are various types that describe different events and are applicable. Therefore, my understanding of the concept of probability will help me to analyze and implement the data more efficiently. To begin with, we can represent the situation our case whereby we have two events that cannot occur at the same time. It is either America attacking North Korea but North Korea does not attack America or North Korea attacks America but America does not attack North Korea. We can represent it as disjoint events whereby two events cannot occur at the same time.
Let assume that event A represent America and event B represent North Korea. Therefore;
Event A=getting consequence X
Event B=getting consequence Y
The sample space for both events is X and Y. It is notable that in both cases event A and B cannot occur together. These two conditions can be represented using Venn diagram.
Event B
Event A
Conditional probability can be used when the probability of some event A, given the occurrence of the other event B. in this situation, we try to calculate the chances of the second event to happen when given that the first event has already occurred. In this case, we can highlight that the probability of an event A is dependent on the occurrence of event B. Therefore, we can represent the probability as P (A/B) such that,
P (A/B) = P (A^B)/P (B)
P (A^B), represents the probability of event B, P (B) and event A, P (A). This indicates clearly that both are independent. However, we can arrange the same equation in another way to get the following equation. P (A^B) = P (A/B) x P (B). However, we can interchange the events A and B to get our new probability as P (B^A) =P (B/A) x P (A).
It is good to note that Bayes'probability rule indicates that P (A^B) = P (B^A). After establishing the equation, we can apply Monty Hall problem. The problem indicates that when you are on a game show and you are given a chance to choose from three doors and one door has a goat behind it. In this situation, the choice you make in opening the doors is what will earn you a goat. Different outcomes of various possible combinations of choices and the decision of the player will be shown in a table. In our case, we can have two players who are America and North Korea. Their choices of getting involved in the fight will have effects towards their rivals. For instance, the choice that each party makes can determine whether they will lose or win the battle.
The second column indicates the exact location where the country selects and gets the ammunition. In the third column, it contains the choice of the player whether select one, two or three. The fourth column contains the final choice of Monty function which is set to open a particular door. The data has to be set with a function that will select randomly pick the door that hides the weapons. In addition, there will be calculation of probabilities of the winning players when they change their decisions to pick a new door. In this situation, we can see that when a country chooses the first door as their first choice, Monty can choose to open either of the doors. If the player sticks to the decision, one is likely to change, and then they might lose. However, when they stick, they will definitely win.
From the three doors, the probability of sticking and losing is P (1/3) while the chances of changing the mind and wins ifs P (2/3). However, we can prove the problem involving Monty Hall. To begin with, we can the probability of the weapons to occur in the three doors will be:
P (1) = 1/3
P (2) = 1/3
P (3) = 1/3
When the player chooses the first door, the probability that the third door will be opened on the location of the prize can be found. P (3/1) = 1/2 is the probability of Mont opening the third door when the weapons in place in the first door. But since the player has chosen the first door, Mont can decide to open either second or third door. Therefore, P (3/2) = 1 and P (3/3) = 0
Analysis
From the above experiment, we can examine that when an America attacks North Korea and Korea does not attack back, the chance of casualties to occur is more on the side of Korea since they do not have access to the weapons and they are not ready to find. Therefore, the probability of Korea winning is 0 while the probability of America winning is 1. On the other hand, North Korea can attack America and America is not fighting back. Here, more casualties, destructions, and injuries will be experienced towards the American. American chances of winning the battle are 0 while Korea 100 percent of victory. Also, when we have two countries fight against each other, their probability of winning will depend on various factors. For instance, the choice will determine the chances of winning. If America makes a wrong decision of strategy and they are not willing to change they will end up losing. Also, unwillingness to shift from poor to strong strategy method among the Koreans will hinder their success.
Conclusion
I think the discovery of these strategies of conflicts and war will give a solution to the country that is involved in the war. Each country will understand that the country is unwilling to participate in a war, there is need to look for a better solution to end the hatred and conflicts. It is urgent for the formation of members who will try to unite various countries to promote peace, love, and unity. The stable state will ensure growth and development of trade and other businesses. Battles will increase sufferings to people. Many people will die; lose their properties and destruction of their environment.
However, I found the experiment to be fascinating not only because of understanding the strategies of winning by both switching and sticking to initial decision but to examine how we can solve problems that affect the country. We need to make the decision that will have positive impacts on people. Today, North Korea has been carrying out missiles test that has created tension and chaos. This act has led many people to intervene to stop their actions. However, if they switch their ideas to more innovative that will improve the living standards of the citizens in the country.
In doing this Internal Assessment, I was in a position to experience how the concepts of mathematics can be used in real-life situations around the world. Professional Mathematicians have applied the skills to social problems facing our societies today. Among them are threat and conflicts when two countries are involved hence creating tension among the citizens. The knowledge we can help and come up new ideas that have high chances of uniting conflicting parties.

“The Great Gatsby” by F. Scott Fitzgerald
Introduction
The following is a literature review of the book The Great Gatsby. The paper will analyze the symbolic technique Fitzgerald used in coming up with the novel. The essay will demonstrate a brief thesis of what the colors symbolized both to the reader and the characters in the book. In this paper we will choose one color for illustrations from the various colors used as symbols in Fitzgerald's story that is mostly about love, money and success. The paper will discuss the color green and give direct quotes with explanatory sentences of the color green.
Green
The color green is mostly related to the nature, whereby in relation with the western culture it represents the spring, youth, hope and confidence. The color green is used a lot in the novel to symbolize Gatsby character in terms of his dream which is to win Daisy's heart back and hope of getting money. Gatsby has everything in the world except her love Daisy therefore green stands for his undying hope to win Daisy's heart whereby the green light is closely related with Daisy whereas it is at her dock. The green light appears to be burning in the novel three times.
From start to end of the novel the green light acts a major symbol. The green light is observed first when Nick notices Gatsby stretching his hands towards the water, Gatsby statesinvoluntarily I glanced seaward- and distinguished nothing except a single green light, minute and far away, that might have been the end of a dock (Fitzgerald 2013, p.169) here the narrator and Gatsby come to a realization that the statementfar away meant that his dreamed was not assured and might fail. The green light seems to be what kept Gatsby burning desire to win Daisy's heart whereby he utters to heryou always have a green light that burn at night at the end of your dock (226) and doesn't seem to be ever giving up on his hope to win Daisy's heart becauseGatsby believed in the green light (152). Gatsby seems to be realizing his dream but is still confused with the real and imaginary Daisy. In relation to the American dream, green symbolizes that it is beautiful and appealing in imagination but very weak in reality.
Death is the end of a man's life and especially faith which is buried with him. Gatsby hope was dead when he died even though during his burial people held green lighting lamps to show fait, whereby the American dream which is symbolized with the green is still lighting up with hope.Gatsby believed in the green light, the orgastic future that year by year recedes before us. It eluded us then, but that's no matter tomorrow we will run faster, stretch out our arms farther. And one fine morning (pp 296) this make the green light a representation of the undying fight for our future dreams and coming of a new hope.
Conclusion
A society that is filled with greedy, jealous and corrupt humans makes everything to be materialistic. Gatsby however tries to pursue his dreams trying to assume the obstacles the society held before him to win Daisy's heart but ends up not fulfilling his dreams. These makes green a major symbol in this novel as it makes it more complete and cuts deep within the reader's interpretation.

Master’s Prepared Nurse Interview
Introduction
In the healthcare department AG-ACNP profession has a responsibility to monitor to order to interpreted the diagnostic test as well as developing treatments plan aimed at stabilizing all patients maximizing their well being at the shortest time possible. I am having an objective of getting insight associated with the interplay in career path, education and managing time for someone who is starting MSN and specializing in AG-ACNP , I have decided to interview an Master of science in nursing prepared AG-ACNP a lady who is works at our hospital. I believe that upon getting the real world data and career guidance from the her, I will be prepared and equipped so as to make an expression of my passion preparing me for my journey as a nurse.
Overview of Career
While he was in her final year pursuing bachelor's degree in mass communication the interviewee was on an internship at the local T.V station. Her boyfriend was hospitalized and she was forced by the circumstances to go and take care of him while at hospital. What she can recall is the nurse advising her together with the family that the patient need care every minute. She in the real sense saw how the nurse was dedicated and could use most time just helping the patients and this transformed the interviewee. While she was leaving the health care center she had a new idea and thought of changing her career to something to do with healthcare.
To begin her path she had to obtain a technician certificate of her Emergency room meaning that she could work as technician as she was doing her nursing. After that she went for prerequisites and got pre-specialty entry MSN program which was offered at India .She had to pursue this for 2 years so as to be familiar with prespeciality msn program which ushered in her National council license exam which could make har be a recognized as a registered nurse .After obtaining this she worked as ER RN .She got a degree in Pre specialty Entry MSN for a period of four year.
Graduate Education
The interviewee worked as ER RN for more four years it is during this time that she had recognized that many patients were coming to see the ER simply to get the primary health condition. Generally the patients looked aged but to her surprise many of them had no health insurance .Upon noting that she made another observation that inadequate hospitals and health care units as well as inadequate medical professionals and the population could not be adequately served. Now that the aged needed further and attention on a serious note she was it would be of great importance if she furthers her education to serve the population rather than keep being a nurse. This implied that she was to enroll for AG-ASCNP Post masters certificate program, she did this at Illinois where she learned about adult population gerontology population. It was offered together with Student ACNP in clinical components as it was providing hospital care in a complex way making it into a variety of acute ill patients. As she was working she completed the program in PMC in one and half years.
Present Position
After the interviewee completed the PMC for AG-ACNP she got her Americn Association of critical care Nurses AG-ACNP certificate by examination.Curently she works as a profession in AG-ACNP hospitalist providing comprehensively medical care to the acute ill gerontology individuals who need to be hospitalized.During her working time rangin from activities like admission and discharge of patients she work in a cooperative way together with ateam directing the coordination and mangemment of patients care. Based on her current job and rank the interviewee was describing the competencies obtained from Illinois University. AG-ACNP graduate is very fruitful in research, it involves steps such as to evaluates researches result, Identify problems and outcome of practices as well as application of the result in making decision.Having obtained the new information and knowledge fron reseache done the AG-ACNP is capable of providing good care initiating change and improving practices.
Using ethical sound solution in the event of an issue that is complex could be named as another competency. The AG-ACNP graduate has got a very relevant skills that could make her use the principles, beliefs and personal values providing a framework used in nursing .The program gave her nursing frame work .she was again in a place to be exploring her values and analyzing the way the values have shaped his practices and influencing her decisions in making. To facilitate her ethical decision she conducted many desicions. Some sources were including ethics cometee, results of clinical research and ethical theories, legal status the sensitivity of the culture and scope of the ACNP.
Pearls of Wisdom
The core challenge that the interviwee has faced is that while sha was starting the graduate program she had challenge in time mangement.Because she could attend the school on fulltime program and could hacve to study for four days and to study and focus in completing the assignments to meet the deadline. In addition anothekind of advise she provided was that having a clear communication is important in this field.Again sharing the information about the school with the manger in her employed company in advance could show her responsibility.Similar to communincating with the shcoool administration in regard to work related ensuring that the graduate program is completed sucessfuly.
Conclusion
Generally through her graduate education the she got a lot of skills and knowledge aimed at helping her play larger role in healthcare and developing a good communication as well as positive attitude in capabilities to reviewing and using evidence basd in practicing the supporting of clinical decisions.our university MSN with AG-ACNP speciality is very fiting the positive outcoes of graduates.sincce tha learners are effective in communication, good in critical thinking and proefficient lin leadership.
In accordance to AACN eductiuon the research and competency is crucial in research and ethic competency.I have acquired very new positive insights concerninnn g what is should be expecting from my interview,as therew will be amount of research understanding needed tip on how to nalance school and works as well as the icrucial need of getting the advance communication with school and employer.Through loking at difference sources of knowledge it is very clear that graduate education could help pushoing the bounderies of the students making them capable of learning from different knowledge sources like improving time manging and giving clear idea of what should be expected in graduate education as it is very helpful to the interviewer masters prepared nurse that is positioning similar toto chosen specility track.

The Society is Defined by Media
Introduction
The media is a common aspect of the modern world. It intended purpose is to reach and address a large audience or target group. The first media source was print media that comprised of books and newspapers but at the moment the media encompasses various aspects including television, films, the radio and the internet. The media today has played a great role in the creation and shaping of public opinion. The media has played a great role both at society level and at individual level. Therefore media personalities have a great impact on what they present to the public thus they should accept accountability. The media has played great achievements towards democracy. The content that the media usually airs is greatly related to the material and spiritual development of the entire society. The media also operates within the political, economic and cultural level in the society.
Promoting of Democracy in the Society
In most societies the prevalence of democracy is based on the coverage of media personalities on political issues in the nation. The media acts as a watchdog that protects the public interest against malpractices through creating awareness. In the modern world politicians take full advantage of their positions. Evils in the society such as theft of public property, corruption cases are some of the pillars of malpractices that politicians are involved in. The taxpayer's money I siphoned out for personal gain without taking into consideration the individuals that gave you authority to rule over them (Dahlgren, p 28).
The media plays a great role through informing the public of such cases for instance a scandal in the South Korea resulted to a re-shape of the South Korea politics. The out casted South Korean President Park Geun-Hye was sentenced for five years on bribery and corruption charges. The corruption charges were based on Samsung funds finding the threshold into Confidants of Park. The media played a great role in informing the general public on the nature of leadership that was eminent that resulted to riots followed by impeachments of the president. He was later booked for trial and was convicted for 5 years in prison (Griffins). In the instant the media has played a great role in shaping the ethics of the society through conveying the message that corruption and bad leadership in the society is an offence. This indicates the role of the media in upholding values such as good leadership and democracy in the society.
Human Civilization
The media has played a great role in human civilization. Throughout the history the media has produced and agitated worst possible cases of committed crimes against humanity. After war has ended the media portrays a significant role in searching for the truth and reconciliation as well as creating a public mindset where the victims of the war should be shown respect. In addition to releasing determined and confirmed facts, the media also plays a great role in rectifying and amending mistakes that were done previously that are greatly related to spreading hate and instigating animosities. It also provides information about the suffering of the opposite side which is a significant step towards development of general empathy in the society (Dahlgren, p 28). For instance during the segregation regime where the African Americans could not share the same resources as the Americans. The African Americans were viewed as slaves thus they did not have the freedom of enjoying the resources of the main helm in the society. Most of the African American did not have the ability to complete their educations since they could not gain scholarships.
The film Black Magic reflects the nature of social injustices that were present at that time. Most of the African Americans were subject to slavery and they were seen as property rather than individuals with equal rights. These is reflected in the documentary where most African families lived in plantations and they led a poor life. The entire household was a subject of ownership even their children. This is displayed in the documentary during the period of cotton harvesting where most of the children could not attend school in order to harvest. The film displays the aspect of slavery, segregation and the experiences which African American athletics underwent. The formulation of such a film is an aspect of the media where the content aims at showing how one side was oppressed.
Public Education of the Society
The media also plays a great role towards public education of the society. Most of the programs that are aired in the media are aimed at entertaining the viewers but there are certain programs that are aimed at educating the general public. The media shapes and has a great impact on the new generation about their opinions concerning certain events in the society (O'shaughnessy & Jane, p 15). For instance most of the children might ask their parents about certain aspect in life where their parents might feed them with wrong information. There might be programs that are aired which might place great focus on the aspect at hand through revealing the truth about certain aspect. Another instance in which the media educates is when certain events such as election is characterized with voter education.
The media is therefore tasked with ensuring that the public is informed at what time the polling station would be opened, how to conduct themselves at the polling station and how to select the candidate of choice in the ballot paper. Another aspect of education is the programs such as fitness programs that aired, documentaries pertaining certain researches or inventions that have been made in the society and healthy living programs which are some of the programs that the media airs with an aim of educating the general public.
Flow of Information
The media also plays a great role in the society through ensuring that information is conveyed. Flow of information is an important aspect in the society and the media plays a great in this. Without a great array of information, people's opinion and views would be limited and their impressions and conclusions of the world around them would be stunted. From a historic perspective the most common for that was used in distribution of information was word of mouth. In the modern society, word of mouth is also the most important tool in the sharing of information (O'shaughnessy & Jane, p 18). Technology has enabled this exchange through various inventions such as television, radios and the internet. If an organization wants the public to know about their products they conduct various advertisement campaigns where they place great emphasis on the quality of their products. The media enables the organization to share with their consumer's information concerning their products with an aim of increasing sales of the product. This is also indicated when a leader wants to make a public statement, the leader is tasked with calling a press conference who record the conveyed information of the leader or broadcast it live with an aim of ensuring that the information passed reaches the general public thus indicating an aspect of flow of information.
Interpretation of Information
The media is also tasked with interpreting information. Most of the researches that we are supposed to report makes one to cover piles and piles of information to support his or her thesis or to simply explain an event or situation. Journalist in the media houses also undergo the same. They don't provide pages filled with facts and statistics that the average individual in the society can't understand. Instead they are tasked with weeding out the important issues and points and placing them in a context in which the average reader and listener can understand in order to establish their opinion. Journalist are tasked with covering the six basic areas of information that is: what, where, why, how and who (O'shaughnessy & Jane, p 19). Through covering this array the media is able to keep the general public focused on issues that are of great essence in the society.
Employment
The media is also a source of employment in the society. Most of the media houses require professional journalist. Journalism is a career in which journalist are able to get their remuneration based on the tasks they perform. Journalism also requires training most of the professors have taught journalist in order to become equipped in the areas of expertise. The lecturers are able to gain their remuneration through teaching of journalist.
Conclusion
Media is a part and parcel of the society. Most of the information that the society enjoys now is based on the great role that the media plays in the role. Despite playing a great role in the society it also has its negative society. Imagine a society without any form of media. Media can be attributed as a joinery factor in the society since it enables us to receive conveyed information.

What's Mudarabah?
It is a kind of partnership where one partner gives money to another for investing in a commercial enterprise. The investment comes from the first partner who is called ""Rab-ul-Maal"" while the management and work is an exclusive responsibility of the other, who is called ""Mudarib"" and the profits generated are shared in a predetermined ratio (Aziz, 2012 pg 7).
Types of Mudarabah
Restricted Mudarabah (Al Mudarabah Al Muqayyadah): It implies thatRab-ul-Maal is identifying particular business or a particular place for theMudarib, in the case that he shall invest the money in (Chowdhry, 2016 pg. 5)
Types of Mudarabah
Unrestricted Mudarabah (Al Mudarabah Al Mutlaqah):
It implies thatRab-ul-Maal provides full freedom toMudarib to undertake whatever business he considers, HoweverMudarib cannot lend money to anyone or do any extraordinary work without the approval ofRab-ul-Maal. He is also not authorized to:
Keep another Mudarib or a partner.
Mix his own investment in that particular Mudarabah without the consent ofRab-ul-Maal (Anwar, 2011 pg. 30).

Why Mudarabah was successful?
Low Participation in Profit & Loss Sharing Arrangement:
They studied the market too well and they considered offering an affordable and realistic rate to the buyers. It is the most secure product based on the feasibility studies that they have done (Nuruzzaman, 2013 pg. 32)
The real state projects are always welcome and on high demand in the gulf.
Advantages of Mudarabah
Although this Quranic verse do not addresses straight forward the validity of mudaraba, it has been interpreted to include the intention of trading and seeking permissible income (Sadique, 2009 pg. 12)
Basically, the wordmudarabat/ is derived from the Arabic word Daraba/
Which meansto strike.
In Islamic Jurisprudence, mudarabat/ is such trade or business of partnership in which one party provides toanother party the capital and that other party carries on the business. Like all other trade and business the object of this business is also to earn profit by dong a business which isnot prohibited by the Shari`ah and in which no element of? Riba involves. When at the end the business earns profitthe same is distributed among the partners according to thealready agreed conditions. Thusmu darabat/ is akind of Partnership (Shir a kat) in which one partyinvests money and the other party puts his services.
Advantages of Mudarabah
Earn profit by doing a business which is not prohibited by the Shari`ah and in which no element of Riba involves. When at the end of the business earns profit the same is distributed among the partners according to the already agreed conditions (Khan, 2016 pg. 11)
It assists in financial inclusion.
Reducing the impact of harmful products and practices.
It promotes the principle of financial justice
Encouraging stability in investments.
Accelerating economic development.
Disadvantages (limitation) of Mudarabah
Due to greater complexities of Islamic bank transactions, they face a greater difficulties in recognizing and handling risks as compare with a conventional bank. It is difficult to expand a business financed through Mudarabah because of limited opportunities to re-invest retained earnings and/or raising additional funds. TheMudarib cannot become the sole owner of the project except through diminishing Musharakah, which may take a long time PLS (Khaled, 2011 pg. 9)

“The Circle” by Dave Egger
Technological Advancement comes with a price
In Dave Egger's novel ""The circle"" there is the existence of a technological company in America that is growing at a very high rate. The company is called The Circle, and it was founded by ?some three wise men.' The main character in the story is a lady by the name Mae Holland. This essay is an emphasis of whether technological advancement comes with a price to pay or not about the novel. Technology is a branch of knowledge that deals with scientific applications as in an industrial set up.
Arguments for technological advancement comes with a price
Mae's ex-boyfriend, Mercer
Mae ends up losing her ex-boyfriend Mercer because of the technological progress that they had invented at The Circle. Mercer is apparently against the idea, and at some point, he opens up and tells Mae that he does not like. This is because when they talk, he feels like it's not only the two of them since there are other people watching them. He does not trust it, and so he keeps off. Later when Mae corners him up and puts him on the light, he feels so depressed about it, and he ends up driving off a cliff. Mercer's death is caused by the fact that he is exposed to the cameras that are brought about by technological advancement. Consequently, Mae ends up losing him all because of the technology they invented. She is much affected by this fact until one of the wise men consoles her that Mercer was a depressed and anti-social person who needed help but instead he decided to run away when they wanted to help him. He compared him to a sick patient who locked himself in a room, and when he sees the doctor break-in, he decides to jump off through the window and ended up losing his life.
Annie who is Mae's best friend
Annie was Mae's best friend and roommate back in college. She is the one who invited Mae over to work at The Circle. However, Mae gets into the company and becomes enthusiastic thus she rises from customer experience to higher ranks in the business. Mae rises to these more great posts due to the positions she took to promote their new technological innovations and transparency. For this reason, Annie becomes jealous of Mae, and so she takes up the opportunity to encourage another innovation that allowed people to connect with their ancestors. This, in turn, leads to her great downfall as it exposed the evil deeds of her ancestors, therefore, embarrassing her and as a result, she suffers from a nervous breakdown. It is consequently the technological advancement that led to Annie's great downfall and even the distance that emerged from their friendship. It is unfortunate as the novel even ends when she is in a comma.
Mae's family
Mae installed the SeeChange cameras in her parents'home, and they were very uneasy with these cameras that were everywhere since Mae would at times stream in videos in the house. They felt like their privacy was invaded as the public had access to what they were doing at any time. Her parents had to live with some form of uneasiness, and so they could not lead their normal easy life. Mae's parents had to pay a very high price as a result of technological advancement since it cost them their freedom in their own home.
Ty who is one of the wise men
Ty is the mysterious Kalden. Ty is one of the founders of The Circle, and he has been buying time on bringing it down, but when he sees the kind of damage that the technological advancement has brought to the society, he feels it's high time to bring the company down. However, due to his fear he can't face the other wise men to tell them that, so he thinks he can use Mae to help him bring it down because he is sure he cannot manage it all alone. Mae plays along but goes right behind Ty and stabs him in the back by telling the other wise men his intentions. This then leads to Ty being fired from the company. Through this, it is evident that it is because of this technological advancement that Ty was fired for his thoughts about the company he founded. In addition to that, it has cost Mae her relationship with Ty after she told him off.
Mae's life
Mae herself had to pay a considerable price for the sake of technological advancement. She had to sacrifice her private entity for transparency to promote TruYou and SeeChange. Her social life and private life was exposed to the public and everything she did. It is because of technology that she cannot lead her healthy life. She hides in happiness and pretends to be okay even when she is worried. She does this for the sake of the cameras making herself a slave of her own life due to technological advancement. Moreover, she ends up losing touch with her friends and close family.
Argument against technological advancement comes with a price
Mae's life
In as much as Mae's privacy was infringed by technological progress, and other adverse things like losing her ex-boyfriend, it also acted as a ladder to her professional life. It is through it that she was able to rise and become one of the most significant people in The Circle. It also helped in making her famous and known to the public whereby her life became their business. In this case, we see how technological advancement has brought positive things in her life.
Reducing crime, abduction and domestic violence
Technological advancement led to greater things in the society like reduction of crime, kidnapping and domestic violence since people's lives were made public as there were always people watching hence safety was ensured. This was enhanced by the fact that someone could not harm you knowing very well there were people watching.
Conclusion
In conclusion, I agree with the fact that technological advancement comes with a huge price to pay. Mae had to pay dearly by losing friends and family as illustrated in the novel. She also lost her freedom as everything she did was exposed to the public forcing her to act on the person she was not. Even though technological advancement has also led to positive things in her life like gaining fame and power hence the rise she always yearned for, the negative stuff outdo the positive stuff. It is also evident in the modern society how technological advancement has led to both positive and negative things.

Introduction
Travel and tour industry is rapidly growing as well as rendering support to the economy of the country. Travel and tourism are considered as the main contributor of the economic treasuries. Because of this, they always get funding from their government. Thomas Cook group is a Tour agency which was formed by both Thomas Cook and a travel group in the year 2007. Its head office was at Peterborough based in England. According to Thomas Cook developing and implementing an operational plan explores the discussion about operators and companies inside the tour and travel sector. The following are the stages that are involved in developing and implementing an operational plan.Assessing Steps and Timescales Involved in Holiday Developing Plan
1. Research and Finalization of Destination The finalization of destination for tour plan is not an easy as many people may think. Research must be performed over the required destination to decide on various locations which can be good tourist opinions. Thomas group and his team give easy access to links and websites to allow searching of locations and provision of better packages. The group also provides customization property such as customers can either add or remove such locations from tour products. 2. Tour Planning After terminus from the targeted market is decided. Next stage is to make arrangements for the actual tour. The group provides with all the possibilities as per the client's requirements. During planning section, some elements should be involved such as agreeing on the date the trip will take place, managing a cab at the reception either from the railway station or airport, check on the food facility, give a brief description of a chart representing all the places which are intended to be visited according to time and lastly preparing a guide about somebody who will be helping to visit all the intended to be visited, hospitality provision facility. 3. Negotiation It is normal that not all the times that clients get contented with the provided services. To increase sale, Thomas group makes negotiations with clients to reduce the price or include more services such as improving the change in the destination as the price of the package remains unchanged. The negotiations are usually made during conversations with the clients. 4. Plan Development Thomas Cook group didn't emphasize required location only but also emphasized on the comparative areas operators. As it has been earlier discussed Thomas Cook group provides customization facility for adding to and removing from the tour product. Customers may want to go through some areas which are excluded from the package. The group offers such a facility to their customers so that they can add such places. 5. Tour Execution This usually marks the end of the holiday package. The tour's success often depends on how efficient the management was. In this stage, Thomas Cook and his team change the commitments into realities. They give out tour guides, escort, and manuals to understand everything. In this phase, the design is carried out after the research is done. Thomas Cook group provides a good experience for the tourists.Evaluating appropriateness of the approaches of contracting components
Tour operators normally use two methods to contract a variety of components. These are fixed contracts and the sale only contracts. Tour packages offer a range of services such as accommodation and so many others as a way of facilitating their customers. Thomas Cook together with Flight centers are the two main operators who are always considered in describing those two different methods used for contracting. The two various methods include are discussed below. 1. Stable Contract It is used so that the whole capacity is used by the company. Flight centers arrange based on the clients'prospects. They make an overview of the entire capacity and makes payment the required. Flight centers usually make advantage of this method because they know that summer is a peak season for tourists thus there is no non-utilization of the capacity. This contract is beneficial to Flight centers as they offer high discounts to their clients as a way to increase their sales. 2. Sale Only Contract This contract is used by Thomas Cook in preparing tour packages. The packages must target specific customer segment; this is because there exists only few client fall present in the segment as a lot is pent during traveling. These tour packages are costly, and therefore most tourists find it hard to purchase them. Because of this, Thomas Cook normally pays hotels or transportation agency as per the utilized capacity. This contract which was prepared during the lean session by Thomas Cook group is important in that it reduces the effect of weak response in any tour package. As per the discussion, fixed contracts offer some effective benefits. Sales only contract, on the other hand, helps in reducing unwanted payment which in turn minimizes the risk of loss.Calculate Holiday Cost From a Given Information:
The table calculates the tour cost which will be offered to the group. The price varies as it is calculated in two different ways such as for individuals and also couples. The cost is charged according to these two segments. According to this table for the couple package is 351 Euros while for the individual is 219.60 Euros.Evaluation of Plan Decisions for Design of Selected Brochure
This is a way of displaying information about tourism and as well as the holiday packages conducted by Thomas Cook group. Brochures usually save customers'time. The main purpose of the brochures is to provide the mandatory information and the significant packages details in s single form which includes: food, lodge, place visited, mode of payment and so on. All the other facilities should be encompassed in the brochures and also the catchy headlines. Thomas Cook group made a brochure which was written in a simple language and easy to comprehend by their targeted population.Planning Decisions for Designing Brochures
1. Format In brochure design, there is need of setting a format on which to follow. When you have a format, it is easy for tour operators to address their information since it is clear and appealing to them. 2. Target Market and Budget Thomas cook group designs brochure based on the targeted segment. That is they prepare special brochures ton specified target segment. In organizing wedding tours and so on a budget has to be considered and it's only realized by an overall evaluation of the targeted market. 3. Stages and Time scale Involved In Designing Brochure During the planning of a brochure is a very important tool in setting proper design to design the whole brochure.Evaluation of Strategic Decisions Made By Tour Operators
The tour operator system includes flexibility which helps the operators in earning profits effectively in their firms. Tour operators require many strategies and decisions in their working routine. Adequate strategic planning is needed by the tour operators in designing the future objectives of the of the business organization. The following are various elements which are included in it. 1. Discount Pricing Strategy Discount pricing helps the tour operators in attracting a large number of tourists as well as helping to advance competitive advantages over their existing competitors. 2. Target, Segment, Positioning It is important for tour operators to produce market segment based on the profits to formulate enough packages. Once tour operators are done with segmentation, targeting, and positioning, other decisions such as promotion and pricing are then put into consideration. 3. Seasonal Aspects Before you set the price of the holiday packages, there are those factors that you need to consider. All the prices should be set according to the season. The prices during the high season should be different from those of lean season. Conclusion
The discussion above is made in perspectives on several topics about Thomas Cook, the tour operator agency. Due to the time change and technological advancements, there are several improvements that have occurred in tour operations. Thomas Cook used different techniques to design and sell their brochures as well as targeting large market share. The pricing strategy is important in that it helps in gaining profits by evaluating several market segments and customers to attract many customers.Cite this page

If we could have Free Health Care, should We?
ABSTRACT
The review of this research will focus on rise, decline of employment and stabilization that is based on free health care. Most of its information is transformed based on the views of either pro and cons that have different argument as addressed in the articles. Most of the suggestion shows that Medicare is influenced by political pressure and lack of exact coverage, which can lead to high cost as most of the employers are unable to contribute towards the free health care especially unemployed ones. Hence, we conclude by addressing the outcome of possible trajectories we obtain from the claims, which continues to erode with different views.
Introduction
As we all know that not everyone in United States can afford any issues related with medical insurance. In address to this research, we will feature to some of the young generation of children who are out sick but their parents are not in a position of taking them to the hospital rather they decide to buy medicine in the counter, which to some extend might not work. In this platform some leaves to an extend of being forced to send their children to the hospital though it is stress as some of the hospital are against the treatment as they fear the cost which is too much (Sackett & Richardson, 1996). Due to this concern, my matter will be based on free health care by the nation as it reduces bills for most of the patients who cannot afford to attend some of hospital in fear of debt.
In the first article, we will feature on Pope Francis article where health care is a universal right and hence can be accessed without any privilege or obstacles across. We all know that health care is one of the basic level in one's life and for one to access there are some mirage where most of the hospitals features on the wealth people leaving the poor behind as they are unable to pay hospital services and receive primary essential care (Berkman & Glymour, 2014) . But president comes in and claims that health care is not a function of government as it may make it to flourish. Hence, each member of the nation is inherent to access the commodities if at all there is payment and ensure the redistribution powers are met as addressed in the constitution.
In the second article, health care is all each and every one is in need of and we should not focus on money as it should not be put on someone's life at any instance. Most of the opinions it's clear that health care should be free at all exceptions as large populations live in poverty stricken state and for one to afford money for payment of hospital in terms of health care becomes of major concern. However, as we all accept to be free everyone is in a position of searching for money as the demand for monthly medical care its limited and everyone can afford (Drummond & Torrance, 2015). Still some claims arises up that no health care should be free as this idea should create a big problem in the health care system because the government cannot cover for everyone, hence each should search for means on how to cover the patient starting with the low payment.
Last article states that most of the issues based on free health care, it must be recognized as a right and privilege to each and every one as each has a right to access health care regardless of income. Therefore, we should not feature on priorities of health care with working class families as most of the families are in stricken poverty. Hence, on the other side people have different belief that one is not supposed to demand Medial care as it is provided by third and it is not free at any instance? Therefore, for the commodity to be cheaper it must be accompanied by profit incentive because there are workers and freedom of labor as both of the two decide on health care reimbursement of funds which makes large population of Americans to remain and focus on over the counter as solution (Eisen & Rubin, 2016).
In conclusion, all pro and cons which are addressed in these article have different outcome, some may favor American who are millionaires as they have no problem with their medical care cover while the big issues is on those in the poverty stricken state who cannot afford to pay debts in the hospital. Matters addressed shows that the claims features on both sides and give chance for discussion especially those who are being affected as per the census done the highest number are those affected by this platform.

Persuading Media Producers to Change the Way they Portray Relationships
There are a lot of incidences of bias and stereotypes in the manner in which the modern-day Medias perceive relationships. For instance, girls and women have been presented in many movies and advertisements with lots of stereotypes. Most of the stereotypes are limiting and degrading, and they have impacted on how women and girls view themselves and how the society at large perceive them as well. For instance, Adverts have used nude women images to illustrate the beauty associated with many products. Women and girls are portrayed in many media channels to be people who care so much about their physical and sexual appearances above anything else in their lives.
Media Producers have chosen to use nude photos and images of women and girls in movies, videos and adverts to allow them to attract many viewers. So far, they have succeeded to convince a significant portion of the society that nudity of women associate to thebest products or videos. The consumers or viewers can together and join hands in fighting these stereotypes against female genders. For instance, by reporting to the relevant authorities that some specific media contents be barred from airing on TVs or be broadcasted at particular times when underage children are not awake. The producers of these contents might consider using other better alternatives when such protests are intensified.
A consistent airing of nude and other more adult contents in the name of adverts and music videos can be harmful adolescent and other consumers. The adolescent and young viewers who continuously watch these contents are made to believe that having women and girls show their nudity is a way of showing their beauty. Additionally, some of them have gone an extent of imitating what they watch on the media which have negatively impacted on many social values.

Practices in Another Culture
At one point or another, each one of us has encountered various instances which are intertwined with cultural differences. Cultural differences or practices in another different culture have often led to the rise of misunderstandings and difficulties in personal relations. Culture is one strong perspective which has a lot of impact towards our day to day life since it determines how we partake our activities. Our views towards life, our loyalties, as well as our emotions are highly attached to our culture. However, it is so that building and generating relationships will always enable us to understand and interpret other cultures apart from those which we uphold. Differences in culture occur due to various aspects, for instance, the background at which one is raised and brought up in will determine his or her cultural practices. Individual experiences, family, and other attached practices are among those which lead to there being of differences in our cultural practices. Such differences will always affect our understanding, our beliefs, as well as our ways of relating to those surrounding us. Despite the fact that difference in cultures may end up causing harm to the society, it is also one of the most preferred means which gives us recognition in any area where one may inhabit. One's culture is one significant characteristic since it assists us in building a firm foundation in determining the kind of a person to be since it covers the entire life of one's existence.
It is so that if culture is not well understood, there may erupt great differences between humanity. In orders to interpret practices in others culture, one should be in a position to understand the individual, national, and structural culture of the specific group you intend to interact with. In order to mingle or understand practices in other people's culture, one must identify the most vital key factors of the same culture (Cranmer, 1995, p. 60-67). The high, as well as the low context culture, was once introduced by Edward T. Hall who was an anthropologist. Such a theory assists us in understanding the great impact which culture holds towards communication. The critical cultural dimensions are entailed in this particular theory; Hall explains context as the circumstances which surround a particular message or event. Therefore the low or high context involves the external factors which surround a particular culture and may differ depending on the area or background of the participants. For the low context ideas are always outspoken, and in most cases, they are always straightforward, explanations should also come along with explanation and taking issues for granted rarely occurs. On the other hand, the high context culture, interpersonal cultures will be emphasized. People belonging to such cultures are less administered by either their institutions as well as their feelings. Practices among others cultures are also determined by the attitude we hold towards our personal space. Some people or societies will be specific in maintaining the distance between themselves and others while as others will easily interact and relate despite there being differences in cultures. Some will demand greater space to solve their cultural issues, and others will be open and free to share information with whomever they come into contact with. Such groups can be identified as high territory and the other as the low territory. The high territory group of people is specific in maintaining their cultural ideas and norms whereas the low territory ones are less considerate and do not believe in ownership or privacy towards their cultural practices. Those with low territorial characteristics tend to have context.
To pursue and realize more about this particular subject, many have applied a lot of inputs to realize the solution behind the mystery of understanding others cultural practices. After many years of research conducted by well-known research specialists through interviews and other means of data collection, various cultural dimensions are identified which tend to act as the tool in differentiating one particular cultural practice that differs from the rest. Among these dimensions, the primary ones are discussed below. Power distance is one aspect which will determine the recognition of practices in another culture. Power distance is recognized as the degree to which power will be distributed within the society and the response of the members of the society after the distribution. In the "high power distance" the cultural practices tends to identify the hierarchical mode of governance. Strong individuals who hold and own a large number of properties are likely to be offered and opportunity to govern the rest of the society. On the other hand, "low power distance" implies that personal responsibility is the cultural norm within the society. Risk avoidance is another aspect which will determine the difference in cultural practices. Some culture will accept and support the change of things and activities to avoid severe consequences. For instance, some will adapt to the changes taking place while as other will ignore and deny to accept the same. With the high indecision cultural practices, individuals are in a position to the changes and innovations taking place within their surrounding ready to benefit from these upcoming changes. However, the low indecision cultural practices will deny the adaptation and will work towards maintaining their normality. For instance, they will deny acceptance of innovations such as technology or any other modern discoveries. Instead, these low indecision cultural practices tend to emphasize on upgrading standardization and securing or promising job security.
Individualism and collectiveness is also another primary aspect which will assist one in understanding the practices in other cultures. These are the degree to which one will recognize the interest of others regardless of his or her interests. Some will hold individualism cultures, the free will and independency are highly appreciated ("Preliminary Material," n.d., p. 124-139). Here, the cultures do support self-interests and neglect to mind about a group or a large mass of people. On the other hand, collective cultural practice is one character that neglects and minds less about the personal necessities and major on the needs of an entire society or group. Such aspect which varies as far as the subject of culture is under consideration will assist one to capture the deep understanding of practices in others cultures.
However, despite the fact that there are these differences in cultures, it is also clear that there occur some periodic patterns which tend to be similar across various cultures. Such patterns are developed in peoples mind and are temporary. Hence, the cultural patterns can be identified as shared practices, and in most cases, there will be determined by the external factors.
Cultural relativism is the view that no culture is better than whatever other culture when looking at frameworks of ethical quality, law, governmental issues, and so on. It's the philosophical idea that every cultural conviction is similarly substantial and that fact itself is relative, contingent upon the social condition. The individuals who hold to social relativism hold that all religious, moral, tasteful, and political convictions are totally in respect to the person inside a social character. Relativism frequently incorporates moral relativism morals rely upon a social development, situational relativism right or wrong depends on the specific circumstance, and intellectual relativism truth itself has no goal standard. However, the world is one wide place, brimming with a wide range of diverse individuals, each with a special viewpoint on the most proficient method to survive and flourish. The greater part of a gathering's center convictions, ceremonies, conventions, and different traditions make up its particular culture. Some portion of makes the world intriguing that every human progress has thought of a one of a kind culture and esteem framework, which prompts individuals seeing life and ways of life in an unexpected way. Social relativism implies that activities ought to be measured by the models of a person's own special culture, not by the benchmarks of others. This clarifies why a few things are flawlessly worthy in one society, however thoroughly unthinkable in another. To abstain from judging the social practices of gatherings that are distinctive to yours, we can utilize the social relativism approach. Social relativism alludes to not judging a culture to our particular principles of what is correct or wrong, interesting or ordinary. Rather, we should attempt to comprehend social practices of the different group of people and learn to understand more about them.
It is not ethical to judge and make conclusions on someone out of his or her cultural practices or appearance. For instance, concluding that one is a group of gangs due to body tattoos or piercings which may be part of their culture. We are supposed to learn and embrace other cultural activities and neglect identifying the negativity which we might identify. However, we must also consider maintaining the law and orders which must keep the society on track even as we recognize each other social practices. There should not occur any superior culture than the other; such recommendation will ensure the smooth running of our lives avoiding unnecessary conflicts among ourselves.
Cultures resemble a stream that streams through steady an area, and correspondence is the thing that scaffolds these regions to each other. We are individuals who were made to cover through social means and bound to live inside interpersonal exercises. The judgment of an individual is never an individual judgment when generalizations are utilized by the jury. Individuals utilize the few negative perspectives to dissect the entire, yet just a little percent of negative substances we attempt to pass by and large. We should live to cooperate, we should cooperate to live, and we should utilize correspondence to effectively cooperate.

Ethnicity and Religion
Some students have a background, identity, interest, or talent that is so mean they believe their application would be incomplete without it. If this sounds like you, then please share your story. (Max 650)
Are you Christian or are you Indian? This is one question that has been asked of me in my entire schooling career. In 6th grade, my schoolmate nicknamed me ?the coconut'which meant being brown on the outside but on the inside is white. They came up with this nickname specifically because I was a Christian Indian kid, who was practicing a white religion and yet he was brown-skinned.
Throughout my schooling, people kept on asking me every possible question about my religion and race with most of them having the intentions of wanting to learn and connect how the two interlink, but in most cases, the questions often had negative suggestions for they never expected an Indian to be a Christian.
My classmates found it difficult to accept a Christian Indian, so it was understandable. However, they usually had the notion that since I was Indian I automatically had to have good grades. This forced me to work hard in order to prove it to my classmates that it was due to studying that I managed to attain good gradesand not the so--alled superhman genes that they believed to be passed through Indians or the everyday potion drink, for such things do not in any way relate with attaining good grades in school.
They equally believed that since I was an Indian, I was not supposed to associate myself wiwith any sport. I was usually being told to go do some studies rather wasting my energy in playing sports. This ended up intriguing me, and I kept on asking myself why the color of my skin should signify any skill whatsoever. But as much as they kept on teasing me about this, I ended up being the first pick for volleyball or basketball. And anytime that I challenged them with that they always bounced back by saying that my Christian nature was kicking in and that my religion was contributing towards my good skills in sports.
I remember one day when we were in 7th grade, a classmate loudly announced that all Indians were either the super rich CEO's that are usually being featured in the magazines or they were the receiving end of the tech support calls. To my surprise, there were a couple of people who totally agreed with him, as I sat there looking straight at him and at the same time I was stunned at his words. And the next minute I immediately stood up and demanded him to tell me what of the two descriptions he sees me be. He stared straight into my eyes and said that I am a tech support, for to him insulting me was the easiest thing he could do since I outsmarted him in all of the other things in school.
When it came to high school, I thought it was the new beginning for me since I no longer had my old nickname but the coconut concept still followed me. My freshman year classes were made up of students who were from different ethnicities. Most of these students were European, Arabs, South Africans and Native American descents, however, all of these students had fair skin.
When it came to introducing ourselves, everyone said my name with a lot of uncertainty as they had the confused looks on their faces. I looked Indian, I had the Indian skin tone plus the slight accent, and even my grades could tell that I am Indian. But to them the name Georgi is supposed to be owned by a white, and they kept on wondering how a brown skin with a white name adds up.
I remember back in 10th grade we were taught about the violence and destruction that were caused in the 11th century by Crusades, and in the middle of the lesson, a boy in my class turned around and angrily whispered in my ear,Destroying their lives too huh. They should send you back to where you came from. And that was a painful moment for me plus it made me think if he ever told his German girlfriend the same thing.
All these experiences started making me become insecure about my ethnicity and religion. I began denying my identity and kept on telling people that since I spent my whole life in America that made me not to be an Indian. And that the reason as to why I am a Christian is because my parents wanted me to be one for it was not my wish. However, in lying and denying my true image I became estranged from my identity.
I immediately noticed that I was not being myself. I observed that I was not the fairest or the most handsome people in my class, and neither did I have the biggest muscles nor the best flexibility. But I learned that I had something that others did not have, and that was my identity. My ethnicity and religion were forever part of me, and I should not be disturbed by how other people view my background. I immediately embraced being a Christian, Indian and a brown-skinned kid who was practicing a white religion, but above all, I embraced my true identity: a coconut.

Options Proposed for the Waste Management Program at the Navistar Plant
Introduction
Navistar International Corporation carried out a thorough review about the outcomes of the plant-wide waste audit during August 1994. The company's then co-coordinator's proposed that necessary steps should be taken to completely address the issue. The coordinator believed that a solid waste management strategy should be adopted to ensure the sustenance of the company. During 1994, Navistar was the leading producer company known in selling both medium and heavy trucks in the entire North American market for 14 successive years. At that time, the corporation only operated eight manufacturing plants as well as 2 technical centers, with a total number of employees of 14, 900 individuals globally. During that year, the company generated $5.3 billion in revenues.
Background
Navistar's premium conventional and serious service trucks were manufactured at the Chatham manufacturing plant, whereas the company's regular usual and cabover trucks were manufactured and assembled at Navistar's assembly center located in Springfield. Regardless, the company presented its first environmental, health and safety report for the financial year of 1994. The report, however, outlined that company-wide events, especially in environmental, health and safety sectors as well as the planned program for future environmental, health and safety events for the corporation. The report also included Navistar's Environmental Protection Policy which should guide the company's options regarding proposed options for the waste management program.
Because of that, Navistar sustained a competent environmental staff with an aim of monitoring and implementing various environmental outlines and to offer training to the company's workers. More so, the company's environmental staff advised the company's vice-president, who then reported to the company's quality management and technology department, who then report to both the president and CEO. To add, the board of directors which had sanctioned the Environmental Protection Policy and Management Program was frequently informed regarding the company's environmental routine.
In October 1994, the company officialized a number of its Environmental Executive Committee. The committee was accountable for overseeing and assessing the company's observance with environmental needs, assure the world that the company's environmental thoughts are an integral part of Navistar's business programs. Furthermore, the committee was responsible for assuring involved stakeholders that there are enough resources that can support the company's Environmental Management Program. The committee also reviewed all environmental revelations in their yearly 10-K as well as other shareholder statements as needed by the Securities and Exchange Commission, creating and communicating business status on important environmental outlines, problems, legislation and involvement in voluntary environmental outlines funded by various government institutions.
Navistar's Waste Management Program
The company included various environmental processes in their Environmental Management Program. These procedures were developed with an aim of implementing them at all company sites. Therefore, Navistar's environmental Protection Policy alongside its Environmental Management Program as well as corporate processes were intended to guarantee the implementation of company-wide environmental programs. Additionally, these programs were implemented in technically achievable and cost-effective ways, and complied with applicable governmental guidelines.
To begin with, the company institutionalized its pollution deterrence events according to the GREEN Program. The main objective of this option was to minimize the company's environmental emissions. In this scheme, the company's executive environmental, health and safety directors were explicitly accountable for creating general objectives for waste and emissions minimizations. Each and every facility or plant, nevertheless, was offered with independency to create and highlight specific methods for attaining the programs'objectives. For instance, in the company's 1994 environmental health and safety statement, Navistar's management were compelled to design pollution avoidance objectives for 1996. One such goal was to include a 20% decline in the material and waste disposal expenditures. Also, a broad range of plans was in progress, targeting pollution avoidance and decline, and recycling and treatment. In other words, the company had adopted recycling strategies for cardboard, packaging materials and wood pallets to name a few.
Creating a Sturdy Waste Management Program
The company should have substantial prospects for recycling. This means that a plant-wide recycling strategy can be the best pathway to meet the company's waste minimization objectives. However, setting up a budget and recognizing the needed resources for the program is decisive. The prevailing configurations for the company's cardboard or even scraps, for instance, were income-neutral. Therefore, a further waste management program should comprise of extra commitment to recycling to ensure that the current configuration does not get discontinued.
Also, the company can include two options in their recycling program. To begin with, the company can contract with a third party waste management corporation to deal with plant waste at a central location. Under this alternative, solid waste gathering in any plant can continue unaffected, even though after it's been collected, the solid waste would be shipped for cataloging and processing purposes. Though, sorting can make the company shoulder unnecessary expenses since it is a labor intensive procedure in sorting, managing and shipping recyclable products.
The company can also install recycling centers all through the manufacturing plant. Additionally, each center would comprise of numerous containers, even though the total number of containers needed relies of the diversity of the materials recycled, with each container branded to contain particular waste including glass and paper. Though, this suggestion does not clearly outline how many stations will be needed to hold recycled materials. In this alternative, the isolated solid waste would be taken to a processing center situated in the plant where materials to be recycled would consequently be retailed or gotten rid of by other recycling firms.
Lastly, for Navistar to efficiently handle their Waste Management programs, they all must have corporate and plant management support. In a nutshell, corporate management ensures that accountable individuals comply with corporate principles and processes, including the team achieving a 20% waste minimization included in their GREEN program. Therefore, efficient plant organization would be closely apprehensive about plant operations as well as profitability. However, the company must first comply with the 3R Regulations which will aid towards the success of waste audit and waste minimization strategy.
Conclusion
To sum up, it is evident that Navistar Corporation is obligated to following high standards of environmental superiority in addition to offering a workplace that safeguards both the health and safety of their employees as well as the communities neighboring the company's facilities. Therefore, for the company to manage these obligations, in a technically sane and cost-effective way, it must carry out all its operations in observance with pertinent environmental laws and guidelines. The company must also design, create and operate its facilities in a way that safeguards the health and safety of their workers, people in surrounding societies, and even the environment itself among employing other strategies.

Health Assesment of the Older Adult
Question 1
Geriatric disorders, for instance, dementia and functional weakening are frequent and commonly undiagnosed or ineffectively addressed in elderly individuals. Recognizing geriatric illnesses by carrying out a geriatric evaluation can aid medical experts to control these disorders and preclude or delay their impediments (Vischer et al, 2009). The Comprehensive Geriatric Assessment (CGA) or older people usually involve various essentials or components which are assessed during the analysis process. Some of these essential components include; functional status, financial concerns, cognition, polypharmacy, mood, social support, among other such as living situation and spirituality (Rockwood, & Mitnitski, 2007).
Functional capacity: Functional capacity is the capability to carry out activities essential or desired in day-to-day life. Functional status is unswervingly affected by health conditions, mainly in the setting of an elder's situation and societal support system. Assessment of functional capability can be crucial in checking reaction to cure and can offer predictive evidence that helps in long-term treatment scheduling.
Mood disorders: Depressing ailment among the old people is a severe health issue leading to superfluous anguish, weakened functional abilities, increased mortality, as well as disproportionate usage of healthcare resources.
Cognition: The occurrence of dementia upsurges with age of a person, mainly amongst those over 85 years old, yet most of the patients with cognitive deficiency remain untested. The importance of conducting a prompt analysis includes the likelihood of discovering curable disorders.
Polypharmacy: Aging individuals are usually recommended numerous prescriptions by different clinicians thus subjecting them to a huge jeopardy for drug-drug interfaces and adversative drug events. The health care provider ought to examine the patient's treatments at every appointment.
Financial and Social support: The presence of a sturdy communal support linkage in a senior's life can habitually be the defining feature of whether he or she can stay at home or requires placement in a health center. An ephemeral screen of the societal support comprises of taking a communal past and deciding who could be present to the patient to assist if he or she falls sick.
Home geriatric valuation has been made known to be an efficient way of refining functional capabilities, averting institutionalization, as well as decreasing mortality rates among the old people. CGA conducted in the health institutions, particularly in devoted units as well has an advantage on survival.
Question 2
Despite the development of palliative care initiatives and hospital programs, most of the aging individuals do not die in their homes, something which is against their wishes. Improvements in healthcare and medication in the 20th century intensely transformed the landscape: patients could be appropriately rendered treatment to the exact end of their lives. There is no uncertainty that such developments resulted in a remarkable transformation in terms of abating agony and assisting more individuals to undergo "a respectable death". Besides, demographic factors contribute to this particular trend. There exists no uncertainty that demographic factors do account for some of the enormous disparities documented between local authority zones across the US. For instance, some regions have upper rates of demise from syndromes like respiratory and heart disorders where sanatorium healthcare in the final days of the patient's life might be suitable. This can be a contributing factor to the conclusion that the probability of infirmary demise upsurges with deprivation (Gruneir et al, 2007).
Support of patients in End-Of-Life (EOL) healthcare and simultaneously granting their wishes prompts nurses to play a key role. As opposed to the views of the majority, I can apply direct approaches when handling patients at EOL. For example, I can take the role of the information broker and ensure smooth communication amongst the infirmary team and the family members of the sick person. Besides, I can enact the supporter role and initiate trusting relations with the families as they circumnavigate the EOL decision-making procedure and show empathy for the sick, family members, as well as the clinicians.

Why does Hamlet Delay his Revenge
As I memorize back to my childhood age, I always had arguments and fights with my older sister. She would always do some things to get me in trouble with our parents. These acts always made me feel like getting back to her and take a revenge for what she did. Basically, revenge to people is the desire to get back at the person who did something against you or caused the action to be acted upon you (DiBattista 70). In the Hamlet, it is clear that the play is mainly based on revenge and how some characters seem to be in worst condition due to the downfall of the revenge (Shakespeare 50). The readers after reading the play usually see how Hamlet is not only driven to avenge his father but also other characters as well. The play indicates how characters act out of emotions and this affects them from doing effective revenge upon whom they wish to avenge. In the society today, many people usually revenge to their friends as it is shown in the Hamlet play. Hamlet is a play which tackles revenge not only to the hamlet himself but also the other character used in building the plot of the play (Shakespeare 74). Therefore, this paper will focus on the development of revenge in the Hamlet play as a reflection of modern society.
Firstly, after the father of the Hamlet passed away, he remained fatherless and suffered great depression. In addition, Hamlet is a gloomier and battles the fact between immortality and mortality (DiBattista 70). He is thinking of suicide when he remembers his fathers because he believes he has no reason to live anymore in his absence. It is symbolic in that he wears black cloth as the indication of life holding no meaning and the only thing is to kill himself. This could happen as a revenge of his mother Gertrude and his Uncle Claudius marriage after his father's death. This marriage betrayed Hamlet because he wanted her mother to remain faithful to his father and not look for the relationship after the death of his father. Hamlet began to grow mad when he found the ghost of his father, the late king of Denmark who involved him the cause of his father's death. He was sad to realize his father was murdered by his uncle Claudius the new king. The Ghost insisted to the hamlet that he should take avenge for his father.
Hamlet developed the negative attitude which causes tragic plot. In his mind, the only sole idea was to take revenge on his uncle Claudius. Claudius refused to mix in with the family and he failed to anticipate that his uncle Claudius was his new father and the king of the Denmark (DiBattista 90). His feelings against his uncle can be proved as I quote, "O villain, villain, smiling, dammed villain! My tables!-Meet it is I set it down! That one may smile, and smile, and be a villain. At least I'm sure it may be so in Denmark. So, uncle, there you are. Now to my word." This quote can be traced to Act one scene 5 lines 107-111. The quote is enough evidence that Hamlet has nothing in mind than revenge for his father who was murdered by his uncle to marry her mother. Hamlet was just fulfilled with the wishes of the ghost which was to take revenge for his father's death (Shakespeare 105). When Claudius was praying, Hamlet had the chance for taking the revenge and hamlets religion is incorporated in the play where he doesn't want his uncle to go to heaven when his father is in the hell. Hamlet got enraged with betrayal and madness for his uncle who takes away his father's life wanting to take the position as king and take advantage of marrying Gertrude her mother.
As Hamlet was totally driven to take revenge on his uncle Claudius, Prince Fortinbras of Norway, wanted to take revenge on Denmark, therefore, Claudius was to be attacked from two perspectives. Prince Fortinbras of Norway also had same problems facing Hamlet because his father had passed away too. "Now, sir, young Fortinbras, of unimproved mettle hot and full, hath in the skirts of Norway here and there. Shark'd up a list of lawless resolute, for food and diet, to some enterprise. That hath a stomach isn't; which is no other- As it doth well appear unto our state- But to recover of us, by the strong hand And terms compensatory, those foresaid lands. So by his father lost." This quote shows the anger prince Fortinbras had against Denmark. His anger forced him to take a revenge on Denmark (Shakespeare 130).
Throughout the play, Fortinbras and prince Hamlet are portrayed as characters that are driven by the notion of revenge against their desire to avenge their fathers. The son of Polonius, Laertes faces the need to perform revenge upon the Hamlet. The death of the Laertes father caused his desire to revenge on Hamlet who had mistakenly killed Polonius thinking that he is Claudius (Shakespeare 120). In real sense Hamlet actions to kill Polonius was unintentional but when Laertes discovered the death of his father he was only after vengeance. Laertes feelings of his father's death can be quoted, "How come the dead? I'll not be juggled with: To hell, allegiance! Vows, to the blackest devil! Conscience and grace, to the profoundest pit! I dare damnation. To this point I stand, that both the worlds I give to negligence, Let come what comes; only I'll be revenged! Most thoroughly for my father." This was Laertes words while investigating his father's death. Many outcomes were witnessed as a result of Hamlet revenge. Hamlet delayed to kill Claudius and in that period Ophelia who Hamlet loved committed truly the suicide (Shakespeare 140). Her death made him delay in fulfilling the ghost wishes as he was pondering over her death. Hamlet delayed his revenge, unlike Fortinbras and Laertes he ended up killing himself in the process of his revenge against his uncle Claudius.
In summary, Hamlet is nonetheless a tragedy about revenge which is portrayed by the three sons through acting in different ways to avenge their fathers and honor them. Hamlets take revenge upon Claudius in fulfilling the Ghosts wishes and losses life in process of his planned action. In the last act of the play many characters.
